Dear , the right way to reduce weight is making a balance in your diet and exercise both. Maintain your calorie intake to maximum of 1500/day and try to burn 500 calories per day through exercise the ratio of carbohydrates, protein and fat of the total diet should be: carbohydrates -50% protein-40% fat-10%

Pl get roasted cumin seeds, grind it, put in buttermilk or curd. Add black salt. Pl take twice a day. Also take Ajwain n salt and chew it. Drink warm water.

Sir I consult a doc for my daughter for depression they suggest olanzapine fluoxetine combination 25 mg at night during this time can I send to school .she is saying I am unable to concentrate wat is going around me not understand unable to do wat to do next. Dear lybrate user, it is better for your daughter to continue the medicines prescribed by the doctor, for the time being. But along with this she certainly needs counselling. She might have a number of issues at this age, which she may not be able to share with anyone. The counselling process will give her an outlet to express herself and understand her own mind. Cbt will work for her, but don't insist on it. Let the counsellor decide which therapy will suit your daughter. Most counsellors would use" integrative therapy" which might be more useful. Once she is able to modify her thought processes and behaviour, her depression might go away, only then after consulting the counsellor and your doctor, you can stop the medication. Take care.

I am facing problem of being undernutrition. How can over take this undernutrition problem.
Hi Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. b. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. c. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. d. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. e. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. f. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. g. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain.

Hi, she should take a high protein and calcium diet- milk, dairy products, meat or dhal if she is a vegetarian. She can also take protein supplement powders. Also, plenty of green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits. She should take multivitamin capsules, iron and calcium supplements. Minimise eating out to decrease the risk of food poisoning.

Hi, In our family there is just born child and Dr. dignosised G6PD deficiency. After reports - G6PDH Absorbance is 1852 - RBC 5.98 - G6PDH Assay Result 62.252 Kindly let me know about it and it's consequences. Or if is it a mild deficiency then please do let me know. Thanks.

G6PD deficiency is an inherited condition in which the body doesn't have enough of the enzyme glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, or G6PD, which helps red blood cells (RBCs) function normally. This deficiency can cause hemolytic anemia, usually after exposure to certain medications, foods, or even infections. A normal—or no G6PDD—result for adults is 5.5 to 20.5 units/gram of hemoglobin. Less than 10% of normal means that you have severe deficiency and chronic hemolytic anemia.

To control & maintain Blood pressure to normal these are best methods to follow:.• Do physical exercise like jogging, running or brisk walk for atleast 20-30 minutes. • Maintain your cholesterol level to normal & eat least amount of butter, cream or fatty things. • Eat less amount of pickle, salt and fast food as they contain high sodium levels. • Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking. • Take less amount of caffine containing coffee, tea or cold drinks because caffine causes increase BP. • Drink 8 to 10 glass of water daily • Take 6 to 8 hrs of sleep daily. Do not take too much stress. • Do long breathing pranayams (Anulom- Vilom, Bhramari) daily for 10 - 15 minutes. It will reduce your stress level in your body. • Eat healthy diet such as green leafy vegetables, fruits. • Take 5 ml of GULAB Jal added in a glass of water daily once a day.

Hello, there are no shortcuts to health. Also not advisable to loose very fast coz that may lead to bounce back. So 3-4 kgs a month is a good goal.
