Dear Saurav, For all those who want to put on weight are suggested to keep distance from junk foods which are not healthy for the body, since they are surely going add weight to the body but at the same time they also are said to add bad fat to the body. Go only with the foods which are said to increase nutrient intake for the body and provide with sufficient energy, some of these foods have been listed below for simplicity: Salmon Tuna Paneer Soya beans Soya paneer-tofu Eggs Shrimps Granola bars Cheese Paneer Yoghurt Walnuts Dates Apricots Anjeer Raisins Nuts and oil seeds Peanut butter Chicken breast Gaining weight is not an excuse to get fat and schedule daily visits to all-you-can buffets. I suggest you begin implementing one principle each week and watch your body stack on more muscle to your frame each week.

Fever is not considered medically significant until body temperature is above 100.4 F (38 C). Fever serves as one of the body's natural defences against bacteria and viruses which cannot live at a higher temperatures. Also, the body's defence mechanisms seem to work more efficiently at a higher temperature -Fevers of 104 F (40 C) or higher may be dangerous and demand immediate treatments like: -Acetaminophen (dolo-650 mg) twice or thrice can be used to lower a fever . Aspirin should not be used for fever in children/ adolescents or during a viral illness. -Wear loose fitting clothes and don’t overdress. Overdressing can cause temperature to rise further. -Tepid water (85 F [30 C]) bathsmay help bring down a fever. -The body should be cooled with a wet sponge. -A fever can cause severe dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids.. Have citrus fruits, particularly Vitamin C rich ones like mausami,Amla juice etc. -Take light and easily digestible home cooked meals .avoid outside food -Wash hands frequently with soap and water especially after returning from public places or public transport. -Further therapy depends on the cause of fever like urinary infection/typhoid or malaria/dengue infection and the accompanying symptoms that need to be investigated and treated accordingly

I have polycystic ovarian disease. I get periods in two months minimum. Please suggest what to do. I had undergone medication some years back for two years. I used to get regular periods then but once I left the medication the problem continued. Because of this I get very less sexual arousal and also get depressed many times frequently. Remain confused and lack confidence. I need to plan family in upcoming years. Please suggest what would be good for me. Natural way if you want to get pass with PCOs, then observe the following steps keep a control on your weight do regular physical activity for fitness eat small portions of meals every 3 hours be stress free get your blood sugar levels tested stay happy avoid oily, spicy, food, don't eat junk food like pizzas, burgers etc avoid rice potatoes and too much of sweets Otherwise get back to us for further advice on this.

Hi, I am Dr. Vandana Verma, a clinical nutritionist, and a physical therapist. I excel in weight loss management but also deal with therapeutic diets for patients struggling with metabolic disorders. I am the founder of Fitness For All, Gurgaon. Today I am going to tell you about few food products which can help you in maintaining a healthy gut.

A stomach is the hub of all the problems. So, if we have a healthy gut, we have a healthy life. So what are the food products which can help us have a healthy stomach? The first category of food which can help us in having a healthy gut is citrus fruits, fibrous foods, and leafy vegetables. So, at least to 20 to 25% of fiber is needed in a day for us to have a good gut. What are the foods which are rich in fiber which you can consume in a day? The foods are peanuts, cauliflower, carrots, beans, broccoli and wheat bran can add a good amount of fiber in your gut. Also, if you start having a smaller portion of fiber every day and drink lots of water, then over a period of time you can increase the fiber content in your diet. Then eating light green, dark green and yellow colored green leafy vegetables also make a lot of difference in your lining of the gut because they are very rich in beta carotene and Vitamin C and E.

Now, the second thing is that you should add a lot of prebiotics and probiotics in your diet. So how do we do that? Almost 100 filling bacteria are there in our gut at a given point of time. So what is important is to increase the ratio of the good bacteria over the bad bacteria. So, yogurt is a very good probiotic which everybody is aware of. To support the probiotic bacteria we need to have a lot of prebiotics which naturally are there with the probiotics. So, foods like ginger, onions, honey, avocado, and banana are the good pre biotics which can be had in the day. Choose food that suit. Try having food called carminatives that help to relieve gas in your stomach, for example, cumin. It is very important to add cumin while you are making black beans.

Similarly, ginger is a proven anti-nausea tic. So pregnant women can very safely have ginger whenever they feel a lot of nausea, then, peppermint leaves relief digestive disorders and relax the stomach linings. Eat food to flatten your tummy. If you lose weight, your GI tract will have fewer loads on it. Also, your acid reflux, acidity problems, and constipations, all these problems, if you are facing any of them will be relieved. I am sure by adding these food components in your diet you can have a healthy gut very soon.

Hi apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water. Take pranacharya b clean syrup 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. Wash your face with chandrika soap.

The fact is that you must always combine medication with therapy. It is so much better and you would have developed a lot of coping mechanisms by now and may have been able to conduct yourself to the point of even enjoying life to a certain extent. Even now it is not too late, although it might be a little more difficult. Nature and the way we have been made, have fortunately built-in certain structures that let us live close to normal lives, especially up to our teens. After that, if the little signs that there is some problem were not noticed and dealt with, then the issues will come up for the last time seeking a resolution in late adolescence. But for some reason it was not handled well or in time, and therefore this situation where it has now become a permanent negative trait that has to be dealt with more aggressively. Now it is time to seek counseling in tandem with the medication; and you are to keep with the counseling until there is a resolution. Be cooperative and follow all the directives and requirements and you will see a gradual but sure improvement. You must be active and work towards your reformation. Many lifestyle changes need to be made to progress away for the condition. When you are depressed, you will feel lazy though I would like to call it lethargy. There is an inertia and lack of energy to even think, let alone act. You are required to literally do the opposite of what you feel like doing. Depression makes you want to withdraw, lie down, sleep, become lethargic, slow down, make you too lazy to even think etc: exactly like you described. So when I suggested doing the opposite, you will need to fight this disease. You must become active; stay upright during the daylight time; meet people; never sleep during the day, wake up by 6 am every day, play some active games, especially contact games, do physical exercises, talk to people and join some social clubs, eat more of proteins and vegetables, attend Yoga classes etc. Watch sitcoms on TV or comedies and cheer yourself up. Go for excursions in groups, for outings, camps, conferences, and religious conventions. Get a pet dog and spend time training it, exercising it and relating to it. Expose yourself to some sunlight every day, at least 30 minutes but not in the scotching heat. Whatever happens, please incorporate these three important adaptations in your life: always be responsible, be respectful, and be functional. If you did these three things, lots of things will go well in life. Please pray and have faith in God to alleviate your sufferings. Don’t wait for others to help. Use your own motivation, which might be at its lowest, but persevere and win this battle. Now go out there and just do it: nothing is too late in life. Leave the past and don’t relate to the future too much: the present is where your solutions are and you should stay focused in the here and now, always.

Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: Eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals.Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, pastas and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts and seeds.Try smoothies and shakes. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes made with milk and fresh juice. Snack on nuts, peanuts, cheese, dried fruits and fresh fruits. Even when you're underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of cake or ice cream is fine. But most sweets should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and chikki are good choices. Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building up your muscles. Exercise may also stimulate your appetite.

Hello to gain weight you need to do some exercise like walking, jogging, cycling etc for 20-30 mins for 5 days a week along with healthy food options. Include balanced eating pattern on a daily basis by having all food groups. Any of these protein rich foods like dals, sprouts, soya, milk, curd, paneer, eggs can be taken in meals. Have chapatis or paranthas instead of bread & add seasonal fruits between meals. Water & fluid intake about 3 litres should be maintained. Also food should be consumed in a relaxed state, eating slowly & chewing well. Handful of nuts can be taken as evening snack along with milk shake or fruit smoothies. Don't skip breakfast. Sleep for 7-9 hours per night. Avoid carbonated drinks. Thank you.

I am 65 years old observing right testicle enlarged. On consulting Surgeon he told this is Hydrocele and to be operated. I consulted one Ayurvedic Physician who advised me to take VRIDHIWADHIKA VATI and ANTRA VRIDHIHAR VATI two tabs each in morning and evening.
