I am 24 years old and my weight 101 kg so can you help me to lose my weight?
I am both a registered dietitian and a doctor who will help you in losing your weight as well as solve your other health problems through diet. Let me know your food intake details. The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to weight loss on some diets can be dramatic in the short term, but there's more of a chance of rebound weight gain. Set yourself a realistic target and aim to lose between (0.5-1.0kg) a week I being a registered dietitian strongly accommodate the patients own preferences without the patient feeling that they are on a diet not compromising the weight management goals. Don't fall for self dieting or fad diets availiable online they have harmful effects in the long run, if you lose a lot of weight very quickly, you may not lose as much fat as you would with a more modest rate of weight loss. Instead, you might lose water weight or even lean muscle tissue, since it's hard to burn that many fat calories in a short period. I will need to carry out detailed assessment in your case, after assessing your personal challenges to weight loss, I will recommend a strategy to gradually change habits and attitudes that have sabotaged your past efforts. Also the overall objective should not be to drastically reduce weight but doing it gradually and help rebuild body tissues and to maintain ideal body weight. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I am suffering from acute asthma and I am obese. I have consulted many doctors in homoeopathy, allopathy and also ayurvedic. But the weight doesn't reduces. Around 14 years back I had a severe asthma problem and doctors injected steroids. Due to which my son has also suffered as he was 3 months old then. Kindly advice.

Hi, you should follow the under noted tips: go for pranayama, meditation to strengthen your lungs to retain plenty of oxygen to ease your problem. Your diet be easily digestible, simple, non- irritant to avoid gastric disorder which may b one of d main reasons of breathing disorder. Drink lukewarm water. Inhale, steam twice. Avoid dust, smoke, caffiene, junk food, cold intake and exposure to cold. Homoeo medicine: @ blatta orientq- 10 drops, thrice with 1/4 cup of lukewarm water. Take care.

Hello, you may be having headache because of stress/ refractory problems/ any ENT problem kindly follow advises given below: you can take: 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) 2. Adequate sleep 6-8 hr in a day 3. Get check eyes for refractive error 4. We need to go for ENT evaluation to rule out sinusitis 5. Get BP checked 6. Regular physical exercise and meditation and yoga complete history of your headache for further management like duration, severity, aggravating factors/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis consult physician for further management

I am frustrated of daily migraine headache problem. Please suggest some remedy to get rid of it?

Dear Lybrate User, *Avoid hot, spicy foods, fermented foods, white sugar, white flour products, and sour or citrus fruits, because they aggravate the Pitta in your body. *Drink more water and eat more fiber, fruits and vegetables, and whole grains. *Avoid excessive sugar or salt, refined foods, animal products (meats and dairy), caffeine, tea, and alcohol, as these items will further lead to aggravation of Pitta. *Avoid direct exposure to the sun, as migraine headaches are predominantly a Pitta disorder and can be triggered by the hot sun. *Head massage with Bhringraj Oil is also beneficial. This massage gives a calming effect to your nervous system. *Headaches caused due to tension and worry can be alleviated through deep breathing and relaxation, especially in a lying down position in a quiet place. Inverted postures, or those where the head is lowered briefly, increase oxygen to the brain and can reduce headache-causing strain.

No, asthma and allergies are due to increased sensitivity of an individual against any antigen (object. These are a type of hypersensitivity reaction (class 5) usually mediated by immunoglobulins, ige. So, it is an innate problem. But, the allergens may trigger it so, it can happen even at your home too. Depends upon the type of allergen.

I am 21 years old girl. I have pimples problem on my face from last 4 months. I am nurse in hospital. I think due to use of mask I have problem of pimples. There is puss also in the pimples and irritation also occurs on the pimples. I have used medicine from dermatologist but no relief occur. They prescribed me antibiotics tablet and skin cream. Hi, you can take natural homoeopathic remedies also for the acne.These are as follows:-Acne is the most common teenage problem.Acne is a result of a blockage in the follicles or the pores on the skin. It includes whiteheads, pimples, blackheads and rashes, and occurs usually on the face, chest. Homoeopathy cures acne conditions like blackheads, whiteheads, skin rashes and oily skin very effectively. *Treatment part for the acne -- 1. Take kali brom 30 ch , (wsi) 3 drops daily morning empty stomach. 2. Take Berberis Aquafolium Q 10 drops with water twice a day. * Management part for the acne-- 1.drink 10 to 12 glasses of water daily. 2. Use Sea Salt for Back acne: Get this: •Sea salt- 2-3 cups •Bath tub filled with warm water Do this: •Add the sea salt to your warm bath water. •Soak in this water for 20-30 minutes. •If your skin is very oily, do not apply any other thing after getting out of the bath tub. Just pat dry. •If, however, you skin tends to get drier, apply a light moisturizer but not too heavily. •If your acne on back is really bad and there are too many breakouts, repeat this process twice a day otherwise once is enough. •If your body responds to this remedy, you may see your acne breakouts on back going away in a week or so. You may also use sea salt mixed water filled in a spray bottle. Just spray this water on your back acne once or twice a day. However, if your back acne are many and in a real bad shape, you will be most benefited by a soak.

not really...it may be simple muscular pain that is very common...nowdays people continue to sit throughout the day with stooped posture mainly causing back pain..so follow a good posture.and can have a short course of pain killers and when pain is relieved go for back stretching excercises

Drinking water sufficiently will reduce urinary tract infections and kidney stones. Lemon has potassium that will reduces oxalates cirbonates.

1.Foods that cause you to gain unhealthy belly fat include sugars, refined carbohydrates and saturated fats (Limit your consumption of soda, white bread, white rice, pasta and baked goods) 2.Take a well balanced diet and rich in protein (milk, nuts (almond, walnuts), fish, egg, whole grams and pulses), fruits and vegetables (whole and as milk shakes) 3.enough water and 4.30 - 40 mins of weight gaining exercise daily manner.

Hi the reason for appearance of pimples in summer is because of excessive accumulation of sebum. You must wash your face regularly in summers (ever 3 hrs) and take a proper course of medicines. Together, you will fell better and the pimples will reduce.

This could be probably due to hormonal imbalance. You have to See your gynecologist to regularize your menstrual cycle. Meanwhile, you can take pradrantak churna and chandra prabha vati (Ayurvedic medicine) 2 tabs. twice daily till your next menses.

Protein rich diet is definitely good for body. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain.

Take panchnimbadi churna 1-1 tsf with water twice a day. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a say. Take pranacharya charm vikarasav 2-2 tsf with water twice a day. Apply marichyadi oil on affected part.

A black patch on your teeth is suggestive of tooth decay. As you said that there is pain too, you surely require to get those teeth treated at the earliest. Depending on the extent of decay your teeth may require filling or root canal treatment. Tooth decay if left unattended will go on increasing leading to loss of your teeth. Please visit your dentist at the earliest.

If i do exercise everyday then it will be good for my health or not? please advice.

Thanks for the query. You can do any exercise in order to stay fit. It is important that you enjoy it and are able to manage it at least 3-5 times a week depending on how strenuous your work out is. You can do yoga, strength training, aerobics, swimming,  jogging or even indulge in sports like football or an enjoyable activity like dance. The idea is to stay physically active. Lastly the technique of any exercise be it the seemingly simple brisk walking  is also important. And don't forget stretching and warm up before any exercise in order to avoid injuries.
