Yes definitely. If you have the determination, ayurveda has the permanent solution for you. First if all start cleaning your body and face with fuller's earth. Apply and let dry. Wash preferably with neem leaves boiled water (at least twice a week). Fuller's earth may be used daily and wash with clean water. Take mild purgative orally. I recommend taruni kusumakar churna 1 tsp at night daily with warm water for a week. Then twice a week for three weeks. Manjishtha, neem, haridra capsules of himalaya's pure herbs series. 1 each twice a day for 4 weeks. Mahamanjisthadi kwath liquid 20 ml + water before meals twice a day. Apply himalaya's anti pimple cream daily. Apply fresh aloe vera extract from your garden daily night. Keep for two hrs. Wash with anti acne face wash of himalaya personal care. Avoid oily and heavy food. Fibers, leafy veg and lot of water should be routine. Do deep breathing at least for 10 minutes daily in fresh air. Report after four weeks.

do prevent a sore throat infection, a sore throat (pharyngitis) is normally a symptom of a bacterial or viral infection, such as the common cold. In around a third of cases, no cause for the sore throat can be found. If you have a sore throat, you may also have: swollen tonsils (tonsillitis) fever enlarged and tender glands in your neck discomfort when swallowing I am a general physician who will prescribe you an appropriate treatment plan for your case, do reply back for private consultation.

My sister is a 24 year old. It happened for her to stay in hostel .after few days her friend is diagnosed with tuberculosis. So are there any chances of my sister being affected, though she has no symptoms now. Please advise.

DNB(Respiratory Diseases), MBBS
Pulmonologist, Jabalpur
around 40 percent of Indian population is carrying TB infection but only few get disease with this infection and these 40% population have a life time risk of about 10 % to get this disease, so even if she has been exposed to TB patient and has got the infection then also to become diseased the chances are only 10% in life time. so donot worry and tell her to stay happy. but whenever some one gets TB symptoms the patient should get it checked so that disease can be treated at an early stage

Pulmonologist, Faridabad
MONITORING TO MANITAIN ASTHMA CONTROL
Ongoing monitoring is essential to maintain and establish the lowest step and dose of treatment to minimize cost and maximise safety.
Typically patient should be seen one to three months after initial assesment, and every three months thereafter. After an exacerbation.the patient should be assesed within two weeks to one month.
At every visit the patient inform the doctor following.
Use of short acting B2 agonist
Night awakening due to cough/breathlessness.
Interferance in day today activity by cough/breathless.
Any triger observed by patient.
Any concern regarding drug use.

On the basis of above information ,doctor can step up,step down or continue same treatment.
If asthma not controlled, then step treatment
If asthma partly controlled ,then consider stepping up treatment.
If asthma well controlled for three months ,then step down treatment is recommended. The goal is to maintain control with minimum treatment.

Monitoring is still reccomended even after control is achieved,as asthma is a variable disease, treatment has to be adjusted periodically.

This is bronchial asthma. It normally happens during change of season but in few patients it happens all through the year. The best medicine is inhalers which contain bronchodilator and steroids and antiallergic tablets. Avoid things which trigger your asthma.

In sinusitis, by surgery they would have drained the fluid. But the tendency is still there. Avoid cold, spicy and sour things in your meal. Start doing pranayam. It will help you. You may take homoeopathic treatment.

Barking cough with vomiting is said to be due to pertussis i. E kali khansi. I am sure she must have been properly vaccinated including pertussis. Even then pertussis cough may occur. It is better to consult pediatrician in person.

DORL, MBBS

Dear infection of sinus is called sinusitis, this happens due to lack of hydration, repeated infection of nose this is again due to lack of hydration and dryness of nose so keep yourself hydrated in this dry weather, take good amount of semi solids like shakes lemon juices, sugarcane juice, and lassie curds any of milk products like cold coffee, hot coffee, this will definitely benefit you. If you do not get the solution than go ct scan done for nose.
