Dear lybrate user. For any student doing any professional courses, should get at least 6 hours of sleep every day. They should also get one hour physical exercise and one hour of entertainment. This way, their brain will always be active and creative. Take care.

I am having pain in bottom left side of abdomen. Doctor suggested me to do USG and the reports are this- probe tenderness is seen in left iliac fossa. Omental/ mesenteric fat in this region appears more ecogenic (inflamed) likely epiploic appendagitis. No obvious bowel wall thickening is seen. This is happening for second time. Before it happened me on 15 th of may and now again it has happened me on 5th of august. Before it's size was around 4 cm and now it's size is around 2 cm. After bath I have more pain at that portion and at testicles too. What should I do for this? What is the cause of this appendagitis? And how to cure it and what should I eat? Doctor gave me two tablets for 5 days. Rablet 20 and O2. Please help me out with this disease.

How to remove skin tags? Can skin tags be removed naturally without any treatment?

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
Castor oil can be used both internally and externally. It can be used as an external ointment by mixing it with a little baking soda to make a paste. You can also add some citrus oil to the paste as it will be very stinky. Apply this paste on the affected area and use a band aid to cover it. Repeat this for 2 – 4 weeks or until the skin tag disappears.

We know that too much intake of salt is bad, but question is how much is too much? An ordinary person takes salt for taste. He uses his common sense to determine how much is too much. Excess of salt spoils taste. Similarly less of salt also makes it untasty. Food to be tasty requires exact amount of salt, which may vary slightly from person to person. Another point is that usually by salt we mean common salt. But is it available from other sources? And how to take that into consideration to determine whether salt intake is too much.

Hello, Ideal consumption of salt should not exceed more than 4 to 5 gms in the entire day. However, most of us exceed this limit.Avoid all the processed and ready to eat products,as they contribute to majority of sodium. Table use of salt should be completely detained.Use dry herbs in daily cooking to minimise the intake of salt.
