Hii lybrate-user. For gaps between your upper teeth. You can either go for braces (orthodontic treatment) or you can go for laminates or veneers (cosmetic filling). For braces visit an orthodontist. For laminates/veneers visit a cosmetic dentist.

I'm 26 male from kerala last few years i'm badly affected with bad breath. Actually I brushed 2 times per day.

A.C.C.I - Accredited and Certified Course in Implantology, MDS - Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry, BDS
Dentist, Jammu
Dear bad breath could be due to following factors: 1. Improper brushing time and technique - best time to brush for optimum results are after breakfast and after dinner. The technique will be shown to you by a good dental surgeon specialist - so do take your brush with you. 2. Deposits- around teeth - only a dental surgeon can remove them for you, if your gums are badly affected then he may recommend further investigations and treatment for you. 3. Constant bad throat or sinusitis - the same needs to be treated. 4. Constant stomach problems and indigestion - the cause of the same has to be looked into and treated. 5. Talking after a long time - when we do not talk for some time the saliva so accumulated also gives a bad smell - so do drink water more frequently. 6. If you are ingesting paan, paarag, alcohol and smoking - all these need to be taken stopped immediately. Hope this is comprehensive enough guidance for you.

Hello Doctor, I got my dental surgery done yesterday where my wisdom tooth was removed after surgery. How long would it take for these stitches to dry. Hello lybrate-user, pain and discomfort after surgical removal of wisdom tooth is a common finding. Normally the pain & swelling start subsiding after 48 hrs. However complete healing may take 7-10 days. Sutures if non-resorbable are removed after 5-7 days. Take soft semi-solid diet for the time being. Take your medicines as prescribed. Take good care of your oral hygiene by regular brushing & rinsing. Hope this helps, get well soon.

My lip corner side tooth is mostly outline. Is it possible to braces only 1 tooth.

My lip corner side tooth is mostly outline. Is it possible to braces only 1 tooth.
No, actually to align a single tooth we have to put braces on all your teeth. The treatment can be carried on if the problem is in single jaw. If you don't want braces for single tooth, you can go for cosmetic correction. Options are crowns, laminates vineers.

I can't eat spicy food because it burns my tongue and my face become red, I don't know what should I do, please give me a best treatment.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
To avoid infection and reduce pain in a first-degree burn on the tongue: rinse the area well with cool water for a few minutes. Remove any dirt or particles that may be on the burn. Wet a clean cloth with cool water and hold it on top of the burn. Suck on ice chips or a popsicle to soothe the pain. Gargle with cool water or salt water. Avoid warm or hot liquids, which could irritate the burn. Take acetaminophen or ibuprofen for pain and inflammation. Sprinkle a few grains of sugar on the tongue to relieve pain.

My age is 39 yrs old. all teeth are aching after removing a molar tooth please advise suitable medicines.

BDS
Dentist, Delhi
Hello sir, kindly let me know how many days back molar tooth was removed, if the removal was done normal or surgical. Sometimes post extraction pain persists if the procedure was traumatic. So as of now pain killers and warm saline mouth rinse would be helpful.
