Tips to keep your skin looking gorgeous in winter

BHMS
Homeopath, Sindhudurg
Tips to keep your skin looking gorgeous in winter
Winter is here and along with the cool breeze, it also brings along a few skin problems. People experience irritation, hardness and roughness of skin. Incidents of itchy skin due to dryness and contact allergies due to detergents and chemicals also increase in this season. Cold temperatures result in poor blood circulation and widened capillaries

Drink lots of water: People tend to drink less water during winters but it is highly important to hydrate your skin from within. Carry a bottle of water with you whenever you step outside. Herbal tea is also a great remedy to moisturise your skin from within. Don’t leave your skin thirsty. Drink more water and help your skin retain its shine.

Bathe with lukewarm water: Winter is the time when your skin and hair need maximum attention. Though the idea of piping hot water is very tempting, stick to a lukewarm water bath every day. Make sure you use a mild non-drying soap or a moisturising soap to prevent your skin from getting dry and itchy.

Keep your skin moisturised: Choose a good, oil-based moisturiser to keep the skin moisturised and soft. Pay special attention to the exposed parts (and the most affected areas) like your hands, nails, feet and lips. Keep them well moisturised at all times. Use a lip balm to keep your lips soft and supple. Lip balm with SPF works better. Even those who have oily skin must use light moisturising lotions after cleansing to keep the skin soft.

Use a good sunscreen: People like to enjoy the sun during winters but little do they know that exposure to the sun can harm their skin in winter too. Use a sunscreen of SPF 15 or more when you step out in the open. In fact, it should be a part of your daily routine throughout the year. Don’t say goodbye to your sunscreen just because summer is over.

Do not lick your lips: Winter is the season of chapped lips and licking them will make them more chapped. Instead, use a good lip balm, preferably which contains tea tree oil as it helps heal painful cracks.

Internal wellness: This continues to be a requirement all through the year as a healthy skin is a reflection of good inner health. One should continue to eat healthy, drink plenty of water and exercise regularly.

Why Atarax 25 (Hydroxyzine HCL) mg stopping my hair loss problem and leaving tablet again starts hair fall.

BHMS, MD - Acupressure
Homeopath, Bangalore
Why Atarax 25 (Hydroxyzine HCL) mg stopping my hair loss problem and leaving tablet again starts hair fall.
Hair fall Request you to keep an eye on the hormone levels and blood profile, in case of severe hair falls. 1. Vit C: synthesis of collagen which in turn supports hair follicles and keeps blood vessels in the scalp healthy 2. Protein: Egg, soyabean 3. Vit A and B-carotene: deficiency of vitamin A can cause hair loss and thinning hair. Yellow/orange and green vegetables and fruit such as spinach, broccoli, carrots, sweet potatoes, winter squash, mango, melon and apricots. 4. Pantothenic acid and biotin are thought to slow hair loss and prevent graying of hair. Pyridoxine helps the body produce melanin, which gives hair its color. 5. Silica: It is also an important component of hair, and an adequate intake of silica is thought to prevent baldness and stimulate hair growth. Eg: strawberries, green and red peppers, millet, barley, wheat, cucumbers, oats, rice, bean sprouts, potatoes, and asparagus 6. Copper and Zinc: Sufficient levels of copper can prevent hair loss and contribute to hair thickness. Copper is also thought to intensify hair color and prevent premature graying of hair. Black sesame seeds, which are used as a remedy for hair loss 7. Sulphur: meats, fish, eggs, milk and legumes being particularly rich sources of this mineral. Garlic, cabbage, onions, turnips, kale, lettuce, brussels sprouts, kelp, seaweed and some nuts also contain sulphur. 8. Iron: dried fruits, egg yolks, liver, lean red meat, oysters, poultry, salmon, tuna and whole grains. Specific Best food: 1. Egg: Enriched with protein which helps in growth and improves the quality of hair 2. Bean: Contains silica which prevent hair loss. Helps the base of hair roots and helps to form new cells and regenerate healthy hair. 3. Carrots: Promotes growth of cells of scalp, thus helps in shiny, well conditioned hair growth. 4. Sea food: Contains abundant zinc. Fish contains Sulphur which provides essential fatty acids necessary for maintanence of healthy hair. 5. Dates and Raisins: Contains Iron which helps in haemoglobin production, thus enhancing the oxygen supply to the scalp. 6. Oats: Contain Zinc, Iron and omega -6-fatty acid, which again helps in hairgrowth. Common mismanagement -Excessive stress - Cut down on the use of hair spray, hair gels, and styling creams that contain harsh chemical ingredients, which can dry out the scalp and cause the formation of flakes. - Avoid treatments such as perms, colours, relaxers etc take a toll on the health of your hair. - Avoid changing your shampoo and conditioner constantly. Stick to one good mild cleansing shampoo for six months before changing. - Excessive exposure to the sun, pollution, rain water and dust without proper protection makes the hair dry, brittle and limp. Best Oil to prepare at home would be – To coconut oil add plenty of curry leaf and onion, once onion becomes brown, take out of flame. Best Conditioner: Egg white or Hibiscus powder Best natural medicine for hairgrowth: Chop onions and make a paste of it. Extract the onion juice and apply on the scalp. Keep this for 20min and do head wash. Can find a drastic change in 2 months time if you do it daily. For further treatment and enhancing the hairgrowth, you can take Homoeopathic medicines. Please personal message me for futher details or if any query. We recommend specific parabean free homoeopathic hairoil and shampoo for treatment.

How to control hair fall? Ana how should i get silky hair? My hair is very ruff why?

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
How to control hair fall?
Ana how should i get silky hair? My hair is very ruff why?
Try a natural remedy, such as an essential oil massage or a green tea rinse. Include more lean proteins in your diet. Take care of the hair that you have. Try to reduce your stress levels. Avoid wigs or hairpieces, as they can damage hair follicles. Consider taking vitamins, such as vitamins A and B. For silky hair Mash two bananas and put them in a bowl. Add two tablespoons of each yogurt, honey, and olive oil. Mix well to make a paste and leave it in your refrigerator for about half an hour. Apply it on your hair and cover using a shower cap. Leave it for an hour and then rinse the mask off using cold water.

Sir my skin having fungle infection. Please suggest me how to cure my skin by infection.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Sir my skin having fungle infection. Please suggest me how to cure my skin by infection.
Hello, ringworm is caused by a fungus that grows on the skin. Once the fungus is established, it spreads out in rings. The centre of the ring may clear up, while a new ring of infection develops at the edge of the old ring. Fungi are microscopic organisms that can live off the dead tissues of your skin, hair, and nails, much like a mushroom can grow on the bark of a tree. Medication: take schwabe's tellurium 30/ thrice daily for 2 weeks. Management: good personal hygiene helps prevent the spread of ringworm. Teach your child to practice good hygiene and generally not to share combs, brushes, or hats. Children also shouldn't share towels, clothes, or sports equipment that haven't been properly cleaned. Avoid wearing any wet clothes, prefer cotton clothes, keep the area dry and clean. Never use others towels or clothes as well as don't share yours with others. Ringworm can also be transmitted from an infected dog or cat, so avoid animals who look mangy or have bald spots in their coats. If you have an animal that you think may have ringworm, take it to the vet for treatment.

These are the methods to treat fastly pimples: • Imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Do YOGASANA daily. Especially do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA daily. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. • Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. • Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day. Be healthy.
