The symptoms of menopause include: ? Inhibition of menstrual phase of the reproductive cycle. ? Vaginal dryness. ? Loss of hair on the head and sometimes, spur of hairs on face. ? Mood swings. ? Hot flashes or night sweating. ? Abnormal weight gain. The symptoms of menopause can be highly distressing and may be alleviated by consuming a balanced and proper diet. Some of the foods that must be included in the diet of women undergoing menopause are melons, bananas, salmon, cabbage, cucumber, seaweeds, pumpkin, and apricots. There are also some foods that should be avoided or consumed in restricted quantities during this period. The foods that must be limited in the diet of menopausal women are: ? Potatoes must be restricted in diet. ? The amount of intake of caffeine must be limited and as such, the consumption of coffee, tea, and colas must be checked. Green tea can be a substitute for coffee. ? Refined foods must also be restricted in the diet. The most common refined food used in the households is refined oil like sunflower oil. It is recommended that you substitute these oils with unprocessed oils like wheat germ oil, virgin olive oil and flax oil. ? Women undergoing menopause must also cut back on their consumption of spicy foods. These foods may cause an inflammation of the lower part of the reproductive tubes, thereby aggravating the symptoms of menopause. ? Chocolates must also be restricted in the diet of women during menopause. ? Women in this phase of their lives are also advised to cut down on the intake of raw bran as this may inhibit calcium absorption leading to a weakening of the skeletal system. ? It is also recommended that you restrict the consumption of saturated fats like cheese and butter. ? Limit your intake of alcohol. ? Women must also limit their intake of salt as excessive consumption of salt may cause increases in blood pressure, palpitation, and other heart ailments.

Hello, Health gets affected when your internal mechanism gets disturbed, i.e., immunity decreases. So, to increase your immune system, take homoeopathic medications (which wouldn't be having any side-effects) - Five Phos and Alfaalfa Tonic - both thrice daily for 1month. Management: - Eating often means eating five to six small meals a day and packing in those nutrients. This doesn't mean eating junk food and sugars, it means lots of protein and carbs. You want to obtain a healthy weight, not build up your fat deposits. Unlike many of your peers, your snacks should be nutritious but calorie dense: think nuts, peanut butter, cheese, dried fruits and avocados. Avoid sodas and coffee. Keep your liquids up with smoothies or shakes made with low-fat milk or juice for an energized calorie boost. Maximise the avocados, dairy products, nuts (including peanut butter), and meats; stay away from ice cream, fries and fatty junk foods. - Healthy fats can be obtained from foods like peanuts, cashews, and olive oil. Stay away from saturated fats (bad fats) gained from processed foods. If you're looking for a treat, good alternatives are bran muffins, yogurt, fruit pies and granola bars. - Protein-rich foods include meat, cheese, milk, fish, and eggs. For vegetarians, protein can be found in soy products such as tofu as well as in combinations of foods, such as rice or corn with beans. - Do regular exercises daily which increases your circulation as well as helps in toning of muscles. Hi, there are many ways to treat erectile dysfunction, from simple lifestyle changes to medication to herbal remedies. First of all continue exercising to cut your weight down. Avoid processed foods and foods made with refined sugars and flours. Replace high-calorie drinks with water or unsweetened tea. Apply maha bhringraj oil on your scalp and massage then give hot water fomentation..1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep....take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day...take lots of proteins like soyabean...egg white.....etc...avoid tea...coffee...spicy food...fermented food...junk food....apply only ayurvedic shampoo on your scalp....do pranayama early morning...

Hello, As you have PCOS, you should follow a healthy and balanced diet and a routine exercise regime. Your diet should include fresh fruits and vegetables, green leafy vegetables, foods with low glycemic index, vitamin A, D, E, C, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, folic acid, magnesium, iron, zinc, chromium, selenium and manganese supplements. Avoid eating soy products, dairy products and foods with saturated, hydrogenated and transfats.

Hello. We can't make the grey hair turn black, but of course, prevent further greying! The causes of premature greying of hair are several. Here we have listed out a few common causes. Heredity is a major reason for hair greying Excessive use of tobacco and smoking Chronic emotional stress or psychological worries Lack of nutrients such as vitamins, iron, copper and iodine in the diet Medical conditions such as anemia, hypothyroidism, tuberous sclerosis or neurofibromatosis Home Remedies: 1. Add the curry leaves to the oil and boil it for 6 to 8 minutes, or till the leaves turn black. Remove from flame and let it cool. Strain the oil in a container and massage your scalp and hair with this oil 3 to 4 times per week before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning. 2. Turn the fenugreek seeds to a smooth powder and keep aside. Heat the oil and add the amla pieces to it, let it boil for 5 to 6 minutes, add the fenugreek powder to the oil, let it boil for another minute and remove from flame. Let it cool and strain the oil, apply on scalp and hair before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning. 3. Mix onion and lemon juice in a glass bowl and apply on scalp and hair evenly. Leave it on for 30 minutes and wash off with a mild herbal shampoo. Repeat it 4 to 5 times a week for 2 weeks. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine - Lycopodium 200/ once daily and Acid Fluor. 200/ once daily- both for 1 months. Use Schwabe's Arnica Shampoo and Hair Growth Oil. Revert me back.

1. Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. Begin with body weight exercises like push up, pull up and squats. Weight training proves to be really helpful if you want to gain good quality weight. Train each body part twice a week. For example: Monday/Thursday: Chest + Triceps Tuesday/Friday: Back + Biceps Wednesday/Saturday: Legs + Shoulders Don't forget to warm up for at least 10 - 15 minutes. Warm up includes jumping, rope skipping, treadmill, cycling, stair climbing, etc. 2. Eat Healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 2 - 3 hours. Some of the recommended food items are boiled chicken and eggs, brown rice, brown bread, peanut butter, olive oil (extra virgin), green tea, dry fruits etc. 3. Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. 4. Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats are best sources of healthy carbohydrates but do not include these items in your dinner. 5. Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Boiled chicken and eggs are the best sources of fat free protein. Sprouts are also rich in protein. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain.

Hi lybrate-user. Considering the status of your tooth, it is important that you visit a dentist for an examination and x ray. As it is the last tooth, the feasibility for a root canal will have to be assessed clinically. Also, I would advice you not to use needles or pins to clean your teeth as it can cause more harm than good. Also, it might break and retrieval may become problematic. So, visit your dentist as soon as possible to get a permanent solution to this problem. Take care.

Hello. Start hair vitamin tab kerablak after breakfast and tab keraglo after dinner for 3 to 6 months to prevent further greying. Have more proteins in diet. Avoid stress. Get investigations like hb, tsh, vit b12 and d3 done. Apply altris gel or melitane gel on scalp daily evening for 6 months. It may stimulate hair root pigment cells to reduce greying. Please see a local dermatologist for further assessment if no satisfactory improvement.

Hi, Believe me, if you are genuinely happy from inside and taking nutritious, healthy food and daily yoga or some kind of exercises, it will be automatically reflected on your face. Yes, the colour which is inherited from your parents/ ancestors, cannot be changed, but you can try to get glow on your face!! Daily Regime: Apart from these, you do follow CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally sunscreen with SPF-30 – a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare cream may be, 20-30 minutes before going out daily and repeat it's application after every 3-4hrs.) after washing your face daily; use the products as per your skin type. This will change the skin texture and skin tone. In case you do have tanning, apply honey with a dash of lime on your face. Eat right and healthy that too on time, relieve your stress/ tensions, sleep well, stop smoking, as this restricts blood flow to your face and leaves you with a greyish complexion. lead a healthy lifestyle! Apart from this, avoid anger, anxiety, fear which increases stress hormone in the body and subsequently makes your complexion darker! (Hormonal imbalances also plays a major role). If the dull and dark skin tone is due to any underlying ailment or diseases, need to look into the matter. Diet: -Increase your Vitamin C intake (lemon,orange,gooseberry,etc.Fruits/juices, strawberries, sweet peppers, tomatoes, cantaloupe, and green peas). - Eat more Vitamin A (nonfat milk, oysters, and egg yolks, carrots, watermelon, papaya, tomatoes, or other dark colored produce) . If you feel your skin is weak or not tight enough, that usually suggests a lack of Vitamin A. Medicine: You can also use homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Whitch Hazel daily at night. Home remedies: Apply fresh-squeezed lemon juice to your entire face and neck. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. After this, rub cucumber slices on your skin to soften and moisturize it. Do this daily or every other day. Another option is squeeze the juice of one-half lemon and mix one to two tablespoons of raw honey in it. Apply it on your face, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off. Make a paste of 'Kasturi Manjal' (wild turmeric) with rose petals, saffron and raw milk which is very effective.

Firstly you maintain Higgins, avoiding public and un cleaned toilets, tacking lots of water at lest 4_5 letter in a day, manage your diet avoid spicy n oily food tack cured n butter milk, salad, and don't delayed passing urine, go to physician n consulting your problem.
