Hello, Baby should be exclusively nursed for 6 months. There is always optimum mother's milk available for the baby on demand. Foods like coconut, sesame seeds (til), almonds, garden cress seeds (Halim/Aliv), fenugreek, to help to enhance milk production in mothers. Apart from it a well hydrated mother produce good amount of breast milk.

Infertility requires husband semen examination, you thyroid profile, prolactin level, hysterosalpingography, ultrasonography, ovulation study, laparoscopy etc. If no problem found treatment should be started and you may require IVF.

Hello, pcos can be controlled and not cured. Your androgenic balance has failed and have to be re-established by oc pills for 6 months and weight loss which shall help in ovulation and regularising cycles. This is the prime cause of infertility in women these days.

5 Tips For Weight Loss During Pregnancy

Being overweight doesn't stop you from getting pregnant but if not managed properly, the excess kilos can have quite a few side effects. Amongst these are an increased risk to infections, gestational diabetes, labor issues and premature birth. Losing weight in the first and last trimester is normal as long as the weight loss is not drastic. Here are a few simple tips to help manage weight during pregnancy effectively.

1. Eat frequent, small meals

Pregnant women are often advised to eat for two. Instead of piling food onto a plate three times a day, break your meals down into smaller bites at more frequent intervals. Eating every two hours is a healthy habit to inculcate. Along with helping maintain portion sizes, this also makes digestion more comfortable.

2. Avoid empty calories

When faced with a choice between fruits and chips, choose the former. Pregnancy cravings are normal but eating a tub of ice cream does not give your body or your baby any nutrition and only lead to unnecessary weight gain. Avoid anything with added sugar and solid fat like soft drinks, fried food, cheese and desserts. These can easily be replaced by fresh juices, nuts, yogurt and fruit sorbets. Also try avoiding caffeine.

3. Drink plenty of water

Apart from preventing dehydration, drinking water also helps in weight maintenance. Filling your stomach with water reduces hunger and thus leads to lesser snacking. Water is also known to increase metabolism.

4. Exercise

Regulating your food intake is only one half of weight maintenance. The second half is regular exercise. Consult your doctor to create a workout regime suited to you. If you were a regular gym enthusiast before pregnancy, there should be no reason to stop now but if you lead a sedentary life before pregnancy don't try and start an intensive gym routine. Light yoga, walking, swimming and cycling are great exercise options for pregnant women.

5. Take your prenatal vitamins regularly

Prenatal vitamins are an essential source of the extra nutrition your body needs during pregnancy. While this can in no way replace meals, it should never be missed out. Prenatal vitamins also help maintain weight by giving your body the nutrition it needs without the accompanied calorie and thus can also help maintain pregnancy weight.

The key to maintaining weight during pregnancy is to know your body's requirements and address them properly. For this reason, it is very important to consult your doctor or a dietician to help understand your calorie needs.

I have a cyst in my overy. 2 years ago I get operate. But 6 months before there is again cyst. I take dynofirst for 3 month! Now it has removed. Now what I do that it never made again.

Most ovarian cysts occur as a normal part of the process of ovulation called functional cysts. These cysts usually go away within a few months without any treatment. An ovarian cyst can be more concerning in a female who isn’t ovulating. Some tests are needed if the cyst is large or if it does disappear in a few months. In recent treatment of ovarian cysts, these dinofirst tablets or any other contraceptive pills are not given as even without that, the size is reduced automatically. If they r occuring again and again, you should reduce your weight and also can check thyroid. If thyroid is already done then reduce your weight. These cysts usually does not require any surgery as they are filled with water and disappear within 2-3 months.

Foods cannot make any change in chemotherapy and the cells will come back in the interval between two sittings of therapies.

The reason behind your headache is not always common cold or loud music. Headaches can be triggered by a host of reasons, some of which can truly surprise you.

Check these 9 unexpected reasons that can make you reach for that aspirin.

1. Your weight
A recent study revealed that people with mild obesity, which means a body mass index (BMI) of 30, were 35% more likely to get headaches than those with a lower BMI. In fact, those who have a BMI of 40, and are quite overweight, had their chances increased up to 80%. Why exactly this happens is yet to be determined.

2. Your manager
Excessive work pressure can cause stress; and anything that causes your stress levels to rise can make you prone to tension headaches and migraines. Stress and headaches are interrelated. When you feel stressed out, the nerves in your brain that relay pain become much more sensitive. This, as a consequence causes that nagging headache.

3. Sex
In a survey conducted recently, 46% people said that sex was the prime reason behind their headaches. This kind of headache arises as a result of overexertion, and can even be caused while exercising. During sex, you may feel a dull headache that either increases during foreplay or orgasm due intense physical activity. This type of headache is common in men and is mostly harmless.

4. Cheese and wine
Aged cheese including varieties such as cheddar, Swiss, parmesan or blue cheese contains a substance called tyramine. This substance is a headache trigger for many people. The more aged the cheese, the higher the chances of getting a headache after eating it.
The same holds true for red wine. Tyramine, flavonoids and other substances that are present in red wine (and other alcoholic drinks) may contribute to your headaches. While the relation between the two is not very clear, the changes in the levels of serotonin (which is a chemical in the brain responsible for maintaining mood balance) may give rise to headaches after alcohol consumption.

5. Your daily cuppa coffee
Caffeine in moderation can actually cure your headaches, and is a part of several headache medications. But too much of caffeine can be the reason behind that painful headache. This happens when the medicinal effect of caffeine wears off, triggering a worse headache than before.
Apart from that caffeine withdrawal too can cause headaches. Since caffeine is responsible for narrowing the blood vessels, which surround your brain, when you stop consuming caffeine these blood vessels expand again, which causes pain.

6. Your hair band
How you style your hair can cause a headache. Tying your hair too tightly can strain the tissue in your scalp, which causes you to experience frequent headaches. Whether you braid your hair, make a ponytail, or wear a tight hat, all of them can trigger a headache. Usually, letting your hair down can sort out this problem.

7. Powerful aroma
A powerful smell, even if it’s pleasing, can be the reason behind headaches in many people. Though why this happens is not very clear yet, the reason may be that strong smells can cause disturbances in your nervous system, which as a result can lead to a headache. Smell of perfumes, paints and certain types of flowers are the most common headache triggers in this category.

8. The weather
Weather changes, like a heat wave or a cold snap for example, can increase the chances of headache in some people. Very sunny, hot days with high levels of humidity, rain, strong winds, and changes in the barometric pressure levels are other common causes of headaches. Such weather changes trigger electrical and chemical changes in the brain, which irritate the nerves and result in a headache.

9. Unhealthy posture
A poor posture can put unnecessary pressure on your head and neck muscles, which, as a consequence, can cause headaches. Usually, this kind of headache originates in the base of the skull, and its effect can be felt on the face, especially in the forehead area. Hunching your shoulders and cradling the phone between your ear and shoulders are some of the examples of poor posture that can lead to headaches.

You have polycystic ovary disease. I advise you to take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Take fruits and vegetables in daily diet. Take 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. Avoid non veg and eggs. Keep your weight normal as compared to your height. Follow this and give feedback.

Pregnancy happens when a egg (ovum) released at ovulation get fertilized by a sperm. Having thyroid disorder can affect ovulation.hence do continue your thyroid medications but the thyroid function needs to be checked repeatedly to assess the right dose needed to keep it in normal levels. Meet a local gynec and get assessed for other causes of infertility like blocked tubes, sperm deficiency etc

For long term success and to keep you feel good along the way; we are running down a series of articles to help you lose and stay slim! Let's start with eating smart!

Eat Smart to Lose Weight after Pregnancy


Since your body needs abundant rest and nutrition to recover from delivery and labor, to fend off infection and to feed your baby, you shouldn't start dieting until you are permitted by your doctor. Make sure you're still consuming enough calories if you are breastfeeding otherwise your body will stop producing milk. Even if you're not nursing, crash dieting can slow down your metabolism, making it tough to lose pounds in the long run.

Regardless of a particular diet plan, follow below tips for weight loss postpartum:

Check your Portions and Have a Balanced Diet. Take small meals and only when you are hungry. You need to have a balanced diet fulfilling all your daily nutrient requirements. Your diet must comprise adequate amount of carbohydrates, proteins, the necessary fatty acids, and fibers. The meal should include seasonal fruits and vegetables, low-fat dairy foodstuffs, fish, lean meat and omega acids. Whole grains, cereals, and nuts are full of proteins and good fats. Consider, you need to eat healthy, but not much. The food you eat will provide nutrition to your child through breastfeeding.

Nutritive snacks. No junk and fast food. Have some fruits, a fruit drink, oat cookies, nuts or soaked grams for munching.

Boost up your water intake. Ten to twelve glasses of water per day will help you to cut down on weight effectively. Further, add lemon or squeeze in the seasonal fruit juice. Avoid adding salt as salt leads to water retention in the body.

Avoid Packed 'Non-Fat' or 'Low-Fat' Food. These packaged items are loaded with high calories.

Do not start dieting strictly. If you can exercise with a healthy diet, it will further help you weight loss.

Hello, it is better to rule out pregnancy with a serum beta hcgtest as of now, once ruled out, you may wait for 2 weeks in all to allow menses to resume, which may be delayed likely due to stress induced hormonal imbalances.

Hello Mr. Lybrate-user. Your question contains two parts. 1- you want to have a baby, 2- early discharge of your wife. Ans. 1- having sex during middle 15 days of menstrual cycle is optimal period to get pregnant.(normal cycle- 25-35 days). The day of starting period should be counted as day-1.2- a proper foreplay in a romantic atmosphere is key to success for healthy sex. It is not at all necessary to get discharge at same time for both partners. So don't worry.
