Best option for you is bariatric surgery to reduce size of stomach so that you will get full earlier if you can't control eating. No matter how much you exercise, if you can't control eating, you can't lose weight.

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. Inform after 10 days for further guidance.

Tkr should be avoided as far as possible. Arthritis doesn't go easily but can be managed to live life smoothly. Ayurveda doesn't kill pain but long run treatment helps in containing swelling of knees, reduce weight and maintaining flexibility of joints along with physiotherapy. I prefer you to learn simple yoga postures kapalbhati' is good for it too. Some herbal ayurveda med may be given for long run. If you agree converse privately please. After tkr also there is no 100% guarantee of normalcy for ever.

Being a diabetic, hypertensive, pl control your illness, at this age there is bound to have some pains, due to condition of your bones and muscles pl do go for walks for 30 mins everyday this will help muscles and bones.

Although your age is too less but is may due to arthritis, check x ray knee and vit d3 calcium ,cbc esr ra test uric acid and crp test. Masturbation has no role donot worry.

As you feel pain in knees, follow these usefultips for pain relief: * first check out bone mineral density (bmd). In case of low bmd, your calcium level in body are low. So take take calcium rich diet daily. Take a glass (300 ml) of full cream milk daily or 100 gm of cheese or 1-2 eggs regularly. * give a gentle oil massage to knees regularly and wrap your knees with cloth dipped in hot water for atleast 10-15 minutes. * wear knee cap or wrap crape bandage during walk for knee support. * sit atleast for 5-8 minutes in sunlight in morning or evening for vitamind. *avoid heal shoe and wear only flat shoes for balanced load on knees. * check out your blood sugar level and hemoglobin level in every 6 months. * if you have any history of rheumatoid arthritis in family then checkout your ra factor. * take guggalu tablets if himalaya one tablet daily for atleast 3 months. * take a piece of garlic, crush it and boil it a glass of milk and drink daily for fast pain relief.

Knee pain can be cured by strengthning the muscles supporting your knee joint. Replacement is not the only option. Start quadriceps strengthning exercise. Sitting on chair and raising your leg. For 20 times. Slr, knee bending, foot strengthning will also help. Use some analgesic gel and knee cap for pain relief. Hot pack can also be used. Thanks for the query. For a diabetic it is best advised to have a diet planned as per the sugar levels, lifestyle and history. Though you can follow some guidelines - Have small frequent meals. Do not fast for long hours. Avoid a very heavy meal at one time. Avoid fruit juices, aerated drinks or sugarcane juice, honey, jaggery or sugar. Avoid junk foods. Stay active. Right now you can still do some exercises that doesn't need to pressure your knees. Do not attempt to try out too many remedies as you could go into hypoglycaemia. Sleep well. It's all a matter of discipline.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

I am 102 kg Male aged 43 years. My weight at the age of 19 was 60 kg. I do take moderate drinks but do regular walk. My diets are typical nrth pattern. I am unable to reduce my weight. I go to bed at 11 pm and wake up at 6.30 am. I walk in evening. Facing mild backache and knee joint pain. Please guide

In view of age, disease and present medication it is difficult but may try with sincerity and patience while preparing roti add 10 ml castor oil in aata and prepare roti such roti is to be consumed daily one time in dinner 1- aampachak churna 5 gm with warm water twice daily 2-yograj guggul tablet 500 mg one tablet twice daily with n01 medicine 3- rasnasaptak or maharasnadi kwath 10 ml twice daily with water 4- myostal or pyroflex liniment apply on painful joints with very gentle massage continue all for one month and report me, observing relief gradually reduce the chemical medicine.

My wife 67 yrs. She's improving after her knees replacement surgery last month her esr has increased from 26 prior to surgery to 63 a week ago and now 100 yesterday. What's the needful to be done and is any medicine required.
