I am 73 years old female. Have both knee joint pains since past 15 years or so. Used knee support pads, allopathic, homoeo pathos medicines. Also necessary exercises as per doctors'advices. Still not much of relief. Thinking of Aayurvedic massage by expert in Chennai.

Managing Knee Pain

I think a clinical review is very important. For the knee there are other procedures also then replacement. Need to see the patient to give fruitful advice.

My mother, 49 years old, is suffering from LBP and LS Spine problem related to slip disc at back side. She is having Zerodol TH 4 1 tab BD daily but pain is there. Also she has OA in both knees and she is having pain in that. Having Cartigen Duo 1 tab OD and Nusam 400 1 tab OD. But pain is continuing. She can't walk properly. She is also obese. Please advise and opine. X - ray shows advanced OA and need to replace knees. But we are not willing to do it due to some problems of her. Please advise. Doctors advised to take Gabapin 100 mg 1 tab OD.

Ms. lybrate-user, this MRI comment will not help make diagnosis. Films are pictures. A patient is treated, not the film. So pls get into the hands of a senior Ortho surgeon and plan out the treatment.

Scantly fluid seen around knee joint .Marrow contusion seen in posterolateral corner of tibia.

May be suffering from deep vein thrombosis. Don't delay, get a quick review with an Ortho surgeon and may be with a vascular surgeon.

My friend is suffering from a severe pain in his legs from 3 to 4 days, sometimes the pain increases and he is not even able to walk, he is also having a severe fever. Last night he even felt unconsciousness. Please advice me with the same.

Reducing Joint/Muscle Pains

24 year is not barred from developing early osteoarthritis. It may be just chondromalacia patellae, or arthritis. Pls be consulted properly for a better life and future.

I am 24 years old and am working as a software engineer. My weight is 65 kg and height 5 feet 3 inches. Recently from a week am facing knee pains in both of my knees as if am old. Am unable to stand for a long time or walk for a long time.
Am not having pain but it is not supporting me to stand or walk for a long time. Is this happening due to fluid issue in bone joints or any vitamin deficiencies
Earlier I didn't face any problems I don't know why it is bothering me at this age as am just 24. Please consider my problems and provide me solutions.
