What kind of pain you feel ex.sharp shooting , and is it associated with the timing of day or with some work, it might be because of low calcium level, you need to focus on your diet and some streatching and strengthning of your leg and back muscles. For instant relief you can use hot pack to reduce pain.

Hello, I m turning age of 28, since 10 years I m suffering from low back pain. Once in a year, I suffered from this low back pain for 1- 3 months. But this time it hurts very badly. I do always yoga and exercises related to pain. But I want permanent solutions, should I have take any medicines or calcium tablets or any other things. Please guide me.

Kindly show me digital x rays of affected part.(ls spine) rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days bio d3 max 1tab od x10 do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

To lose weight, you have to maintain an input-output ratio. Whatever food you eat contains the input calories which gives you the output calories in the form of energy. If your input calories is too much, you are likely to put on weight. The best way to lose weight is to exercise or spend the additional calories accumulated in your body in the form of fat. The other most important thing is to eat wisely. Try to cut down the excessive calories you are eating and make sure whatever you eat is healthy. Some tips to lose weight - 1. Have more fruits and vegetables than junk food and juices. 2. Avoid sugar as much as you can 3. Exercise 3-4 times a week. 4. Have an early dinner, preferably before 8 p. M. 5. Do not starve yourself. Eat small meals 5 times a day. 6. Have barley soup in dinner and avoid rice at night. 7. Drink lots of water daily.

My mother is 76 year old and facing sever knee pain. It was under control for so many years and a month ago it suddenly shoot up and on consulting a ortho surgeon, he is suggesting a complete knee replacement surgery. Hi lybrate-user Your is suffering from osteoarthritis knee at this age I don't advise you knee replacement. Contarast bath like 3 min. Of hot water and 2 min. Ice cold water do it for 30 min. After she has to do some knee exercise. Like quadriceps exercise and hamstring exercise if you know good or you can consult physiotherapists near by you.

Hello, I'm getting left side chest pain and in the same place back pain frequently. It comes in night or in the morning I wake up with that pain. Not regularly but like once in a week. Pain is on upper part of breast and sometimes feel like whole left breast is in pain. When asked in medical shop they are saying gas pain. I'm getting this pain from 2 months. First time pain was like hell. I felt like getting heart attack. But when rubbed a lot it was gone. After that when I get pain I used to apply tiger balm and rub and it goes away slowly. This is if I get pain in morning. If it was in night I had to sleep with that pain n do the tiger balm process in the morning. Today when I woke up I got pain and going even after applying tiger balm. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having body pain and laxity through out. To improve your immune system you have to take more haemoglobin in your diet, initially you can improve your diet and if not successful then you can take medicines to improve the immunity. It is advisable to drink or eat protein and mineral food which would be a reservoir for you to store the energy. Whenever you do breathing in and out you will feel pain in the upper back, middle back and also the pain will radiate upwards until the shoulder and also up to the chest. You might feel chest congestion and tightness and that be due to gastric trouble. Kindly do breathing exercises which might help you to get reduced with pain in the back and shoulder. Drink hot water to reduce the gastric trouble. Kindly consult gastroenterologist if you doesn’t improve.

Check her blood glucose first. Sure may be a raise. This is one of the reasons for stiff shoulder. Then consult any physiotherapist near you for further follow up.

Hello Lybrate user .u might have developed shin pain because maximum load on fascia, muscle sum time up to bone level .stop running for few day, start calf stretches, apply ice packs for 20 min, do myofascial rel for all surrounding muscles of leg, don't run on hard surface, wear sports shoes .ths will help u.thanks.

Avoid both things computer and caring bag. Tk muscle relaxant medicine after food. Physiotherapy treatment for few days. Shoulder rotation exercises. Avoid strain till relief.

Physical therapy, TENS application to stimulate nerves and prevent muscles wasting by physiotherapist may help. See a neurologist if he can add methycobalamin tabs and other medications. Periodical serum prothrombin time must be done if taking anticoagulant treatment for modifying doses.

Agar lordosis increase ho gai ho. To uske liye best exercise koun si hai, sidhe let kr exercise karni chahiye, ya phir ulte let ke? Or ya phir dono exercise karni chahiye. Sit on an exercise ball with your feet slightly wider than hip-width apart, shoulders back, and spine neutral. Pick a ball that allows your knees to be at a 90-degree angle when you are sitting with your feet flat on the floor. Tilt your hips and round your lower back by contracting your abdominals. Feel as if you are trying to bring your pubic bone to your bellybutton. Hold for 3 seconds. Tilt your hips in the opposite direction and arch your back. Feel as if you are sticking your tailbone out. Hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times, alternating directions. Complete 3 sets. OR Lie flat on your back with your legs bent and feet flat on the floor. Place your hands behind your head or cross them over your chest. Breathe in. As you breathe out, pull your bellybutton to your spine, engaging your transverse abdominus muscles, the muscle that wraps around your midline like a corset. Raise your head and shoulders a few inches off the floor to do a crunch, while maintaining the contraction in your abdominals. Return to starting position, relax, and repeat 10 times. Complete 3 to 5 sets.

Advice…. Hot Fomentation x twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction. Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x twice daily. Bhujang Asana x twice daily. Back Stretching.

Some mornings I get up with a very stiff lower back. I am 64 & have 2 lower back vertebrae degenerated. But some mornings i'm good. Any suggestions. I have a good healthy heart. Rarely take medicines. By god's grace, cholestrol & diabetes are in the band though above the mean line. I have a" nuga best bed" that I use a couple of times a week. Please advise.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. My advise to you is to: - to maintain proper posture of your lower back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication which suits you - physical therapy with intensive back exercise, abdominal strengthening and general conditioning ex initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc in case you are having back pain. My mother aged 43 is having joint pain after doing some manual work. Another problem is. Her legs are full of blood clots, even though her legs didn't undergo any kind of physical trauma. She says these blood clots disappear after some time. But new blood clots appear at new spots.

Joint pains could be because off arthiritis. Get investigated with crp, esr, ra factor and serum uric acid. Regarding blood clots I would suggest to undergo coagulation profile (a blood test, before any treatment can be started.)

Have you ever felt pain in your great toe or may be ankle/foot/knee/heel/wrist/elbow which was intially in one joint and over the time involved other joints too. Then you might be having increased uric acid levels. Diet is important in such patients.

Consume food less in purine content like cornflakes, white bread, pasta, flour, milk and its products, eggs, lettuce, tomatoes, green veggies and fruit juices.

Strict no to all high purine foods like meats, seafood, beas, peas, lentils, spinach, cauliflower, mushrooms, beer and other alcoholic beverages.

Possible cause-age is less so factors may be 1 prolong sitting (bad posture) with wallet. 2. Difference in height of both legs. 3. Sciatica. Treatment- back strengthening exercises, knee slides and quadriceps, avoid wallet, take minimum 15 days physiotherapy sessions for better result.
