I am 24 Year Old Male. Accidentally while I was getting into the running bus my leg slipped under the bus tire and after that my leg started swelling. I consulted doctor and taken a X-ray. According to the X-ray he suggested to take rest for 20 days as it was a small hair fracture. This incident was happened 4 years back. But, now if I put any stress on the leg the pain still persist. The pain exists from foot - heel - ankle - calf to under the knee. So, I request your suggestion.

Hi I suppose you didn't take proper physiotherapy treatment then. But that's nothing to worry. You can still consult a good physiotherapist near your place and start with the strengthening process. It's surely gonna take a longer time but then you need to start it early.

Hi, take homoeopathic medicines - arnica 200 and rhus tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply schwabe's topi-arnica and topi mp gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. And wrap crepe bandage over it. Get back to me thereafter.

I am suffering from Back pain. The pain is in upper back and from sides mostly. The pain feels to be in muscles, not in spinal cord for last two months. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Hi. taking your age to be 16yrs , as is mentioned in the query, and believing you don't have any congenital problems, i suggest you do simple back exercises to get back to good posture. The reasons could be varied for your problem. One of the main reasons is tightness of your muscles in the leg and loose abdomen muscles.the other reasons can be because of your daily posture that u adapt. So the exercises u could do are: 1. straight leg raise: lie down straight. lift one leg straight without bending the knee and hold for 10 counts. then repeat with the other leg. Do it for 30 times for 3 sets. 2. Trunk rotation: Lie down and bend both your knees. Keep your hand by the side.Rotate your knees to one side and then the other. Do this also for 30 times. 3. Ab curls.: Lie down and bend your knees. cross your hands over your chest and lift your trunk up towards your knees and back. do this also for 30 times for 3 sets. 4. ilio psoas stretch: please check on the net. you will find the procedure to do this stretch.

Hi I can understand your problem 1) avoid activities that make your symptoms worse 2) apply ice packs 3) start physiotherapy treatment as electrotherapy will reduce pain inflammation 4) exercise and manual therapy will help in pain free movement. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10 paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days do back (spine)/shoulder/knee exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days, then contact me again.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Sir. I continuously feeling numbness and stiffness in my feet especially on my fingers. My heart rate also fluctuates throughout the day. It reaches to the levels of 125+ n sometimes lower down to 55- inspite of not doing any physical activities. I feel anxious throughout the day n also not able to sleep well during nights. Hello you are suffering from the back pain caused by long continuous sitting posture and sedentary life style. you are advised to take 10 minutes break after every 2 hour sitting.Start a morning walk for at least 30 minutes.Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight.Try to maintain a correct sitting posture. Take homoeopathic medicine Rhus tox. 200, 5 drops twice daily for 10 days, then revert me with feed back.

Dear lybrate-user, your symptoms are related to occipital headache which aggravates with postural stress & mental stress. Kindly improve your sitting posture. Idea posture is when minimal stress is placed on your neck/shoulders/elbows/wrist & hand. While sitting take proper back support & place your chair as close to desk as possible. Keep your shoulders & ear in 1 line avoid excessive neck bending & desktop monitor @1 arm distance from you. You can also do simple shoulder shrugging & neck stretching ex's within limits of pain. Hope this will help you & if still problem persists than kindly get x-ray c. Spine ap/lat. View done & let me know.
