I am 26 year old. I am problem with little bit stammering. I am faced the problem while communicate to another people. Pls give some solutions to cope up this problem.
Stammering is a normal phenomenon it happens to all in different speaking situations. Stress, fear, anxiety increases it. But god gifted us with something called coping mechanism to cope with different life situations like fear, stress etc. If we lag to cope with different situations causes stammering and it eventually increases and becomes a problem. So you need to strengthen your coping mechanisms. Be confident. Speech therapy along with counselling sessions will be of greater help. Consult a good speech pathologist. Take care.

1 yr. Ago, I had a very soft voice because of which most of the times people think that it's a girl on a phone although I am a boy. So, I strained my voice by Hardening it, Because of which my voice is very harsh & broken now. And I keep stuttering when I sing a song specially a rap song which was not at all a issue for me at that time. So, I just wanna know how can I improve my voice quality and Speak fluently, clearly and fast.

I am 22 years old and currently doing pg in physics. I have the problem that I usually feel frightened to speak in front of a gathering, and the problem only becomes worse if there are women around. Like I somehow don't feel comfortable in classroom and ask questions to the teacher. I always feel uncomfortable to speak to the girls when they come to for help or to discuss anything. I feel awkward (become red faced and sweat) if people look at me when I speak, but there is no such problem if there is complete darkness or there are only a few known people around. I have always been a bright student with thousands of successes to cheer about but this problem somehow doesn't allow me to enjoy my hard earned successes. Now I am in a fix what to do. I was thinking about taking sbl tranquil. please let me know if it is gonna help.
Stammering is not a disease it's always related to your psyche. Stammering is a normal phenomena it happens to all in different life situations. All have fears, anxieties while talking to strangers, opposite gender or seniors. But god has gifted us with coping mechanisms which help us to deal with such fears or anxieties. If one lag to cope in such situations stammering increases n becomes uncontrollable this is where the problem starts. So try to be confident and never avoid any situation where you feel under confident. Let stammering happen rather than avoiding talking in a particular situation or with someone. It will boost your confidence. Try to consult a good speech pathologist/ therapist. Speech therapy along with counseling will be of greater help. Try to speak slow and boost up your confidence. Talk to all avoid none. Take care.

When I have to speak in front of people I stutter/stammer. I feel difficulty to speak even my name. But when I have to speak to my friends or family I speak fluently or stammer only few times. What should I do. Please help me out.
The situations you are comfortable with in those situations stammering will not happen that's why you don't face problem while talking to your friends or family. But the problem starts when you have to talk to strangers. You lag confidence there. Go for speech therapy from a trained speech pathologist.

I have stammering problem from 15-20 years. I took advice from many doctors. Some told me that it will be decrease when my age is increasing, but I notice that stammering is also increasing with my age. I did speech therapy also, but can't get any positive response. Some doctors said it is mentally problem. Please tell me Is there any solution for my speech problem?
Normal stammering happens to all. But when it's out of control we call it stuttering. In this case coping mechanisms lag in us. Speech therapy definitely helps. Yeah its psychogenic, you need to understand it better. Speech therapy must help.

I have stammering problem since I was child. I talk normally without stammering when I talks to friends or someone I know, but the problem starts when I talk to any strangers or front of many people on stage due to nervousness. It also happens when someone suddenly ask a question. It's really very big problem for me, I just want to overcome it. So if you please tell me what to do, I will be very obliged. Thank you & looking for your reply.
Speaking situations which are in your comfort zone, you will not face a problem. But when you are stepping out from your comfort zone stammering happens. This happens to all. But problem arise when you fail to cope with the situation. So you need to strengthen your coping mechanism. Speech therapy will help.
