I am a 23 year old female. (5 feet 2 inches) I was diagnosed with scoliosis three years back and the doctors have suggested doing the spinal fusion surgery next month. My curve is at 40 degrees. Is the surgery necessary or will I be able to overcome it without the surgery. I do not experience pain normally. If I walk for a long period of time or if I do activities that put too much pressure on my back it hurts. But I do not experience unbearable pain of any sort.
Hi doctor, On 2015 aug I had a ACL surgery. Post surgery 3 months I did some moments as per physiotherapy suggestions, after that I don't have enough time for physical exercise. But Now I am feeling some type of sound while folding the leg, is MRI scan required to know the problem.

I do not know what type of stiffness it is but I am having this problems from last 7-8 years and I have got this checked with the doctor also and had some reports which all were normal. Its kind of funny to say but I feel stiffness at the crucial time like someone is calling me and I have to stand and go or while playing cricket if the ball is coming towards me body gets stiffed and it take 4-5 seconds to get back to normal that feels like a quiet embarrassing I do not know the reason behind this. Is this due to masturbation? I do 6-7 times a week. I have been a victim of child abuse also which has brought me into all dis. Suggest any best option to cure this.

The exercises should be done slowly and increased gradually. During exercise, sudden jerks should be avoided. Most of the cases of backache fortunately settle down with simple remedial exercises.
