I'm very sorry for your loss. May your friend's souls rest in peace. What you are facing is a very understandable and normal reaction to this very difficult situation. You can do things who h will help you to some extent, but in any case there will be bouts of crying/ feeling lost /missing your friend. What you could do (even though you won't feel like doing it) to help yourself a little bit is to try and follow and healthy and regular routine of sleeping, eating, going outdoors, meeting people and so on. Keep yourself busy but also keep some time aside to think of your friend. All the best!

Give yourself one week of 1.regular exercise in fresh air and natural daylight. Even 15 minutes a day is good, but do it daily if possible. Do it with a pleasant expression or a smile on your face. 2. Eat a balanced and healthy diet which also includes plenty of water and fruits. 3. Spend more time in open areas and less daytime in a dark, closed room. 4. Keep yourself busy and active with any small or big work. 5. Meet people, do not avoid them. 6. Smile or laugh daily. Even if seems fake in the beginning, keep doing it at least a few times a day. 7. If possible, do any act of Social service everyday. If these help to some extent, please continue these. If not, please see an experienced psychiatrist and a psychotherapist. All the best.
