Drink the juice of one lemon in one cup of warm water first thing in the morning (on an empty stomach. Make sure to wait 30 minutes before eating breakfast, as this will ensure your body gets the most energy and nutrients from the food you eat. Use fresh lemons (preferably organic and locally grown) and mineral rich filtered water.

Protecting your eyes starts with the food on your plate. Nutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids, lutein, zinc, and vitamins C and E might help ward off age-related vision problems such as macular degeneration and cataracts, studies show. Regularly eating these foods can help lead to good eye health:

Green, leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale, and collards

Salmon, tuna, and other oily fish

Eggs, nuts, beans, and other non-meat protein sources

Oranges and other citrus fruits or juices

For women & men, sweating is the normal body response to our daily activity. There are two types of sweat glands: 1. Eccrine glands 2. Apocrine glands Eccrines glands are sweats glands that found around the body. They produce sweat usually clear secretion composed of: -Water plus some salt (Na = sodium chloride) -Vitamin C -Metabolic waste such as ammonia, urea, uric acid -Lactic acid = chemical produces during heavy muscle activities. This is also called as body’s heat-regulator Which supplied with nerve endings that cause them to secrete sweat when external temperature or body temperature is high so when sweat evaporates off the skin surface, it carries large amount of body heat with it. So in hot day drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration. A wierd body odor recent in origin might happen due to change in environment to a hot and humid place, taking nutritional supplements, decreased hydration, change in soaps or sprays, change in dietary habits, etc. Right now you can use an antibacterial soap which contains triclosan or tea tree oil. Regular use of deodorant spray containing aluminium, zinc salt, zirconium will help. Use of non sensitizing anti bacterial agents like fusidic acid topically can be helpful. Using an absorptive powder is also advisable. If all these measures are not able to help you after a regular use for two weeks, then I recommend you to consult your dermatologist to rule out any infections, liver or renal disorder and to give you stronger prescription medicines. Hope this answers your query. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have. Wishing you good health. Regards.

What diet should be taken by human to improve their muscles and what are the symptoms of Ebola?
Body weight of a person depend upon many things like genetics, diet, lifestyle etc. We can't change any genetic factor but we can change our life style to build muscles and increase weight. To gain weight naturally, a good balanced diet is required. Fruits, vegetables, proteins (cereals, grains, nonveg and egg are rich in protein), milk and yoghurt etc is required to be taken daily. Proteins will help in building muscle mass. The other thing you should do is exercise regularly like swimming, cycling or jogging. You can also join a gym as appetite increases after exercising. Exercise is of paramount importance because it releases endorphins from the body. This will increase your stamina also. Also sound sleep is required without any disturbance for 7-8 hours a day, as this increases the release of growth hormone and other enzymes to build your tissue. At your age the growth hormone mainly act in buliding mass so if you follow the above instruction your weight will increase at faster rate. I hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask if any further query and I will be glad to answer them. Wish you good health. Enjoy your life. Ebola symptoms. People may experience: pain areas: in the abdomen, chest, joints, or muscles whole body: chills, dehydration, fatigue, fever, loss of appetite, malaise, or sweating gastrointestinal: diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, or vomiting blood also common: coughing up blood, eye redness, headache, mental confusion, red spots on skin, or sore throat.

If you're stressed, that will keep you from falling asleep. Once the stress goes away, you may have normal sleeping pattern. Some other things that helps are. Maybe you're room is to cold or hot. I actually open my window at -2 outside just because I get hot easily warm milk listening to a fan music on a low level relax every muscle (start with your toes. Squeeze them for 5 or 10 seconds, then move onto the next muscle a little higher up, and continue until you finish your entire body or fall asleep) try eating or drinking foods with tryptophan 30 minutes you go to bed. Tryptophans are a chemical that make the body sleepy. Don't eat a lot because when you fall asleep, your body will still be working digesting the food instead of sleeping. Foods that have tryptophans are bananas, turkey, milk (warm or cold) and more which can be easily looked up.

I am addicted to taking aspirin before sleeping. Heard it is it good. Please suggest how to overcome this addiction.
Aspirin is not an addictive drug. It carries with it no problems relating to tolerance or withdrawal, although some people do seem to develop a perceived psychological need for aspirin to deal with real or imagined pain. Basically aspirin is used in treating minor aches and pains (eg, caused by headache, muscle aches, backache, arthritis, the common cold, toothache, menstrual cramps). It is used in certain patients to decrease the risk of stroke, heart attack, and death associated with stroke or heart attack. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor. B ut this drug should be used only when prescribe by doctor. Side effect: heartburn; nausea; upset stomach. Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); black or bloody stools; confusion; diarrhea; dizziness; drowsiness; hearing loss; ringing in the ears; severe stomach pain; vomiting. Change starts with wisdom of knowing what is good and bad. Try to seek help from a psychologist, who are trained coach for helping people with addiction.

Sometimes, what we do in the day keeps ruminating in our mind at night. This prevents mind from relaxing. I would suggest you to practice some relaxation exercises in evening like deep breathing and meditation. Eat healthy foods like green vegetables and fruits. Aerobic exercises in morning will help to reduce oxidative stress.

Will vitamin D save my life? Should I really be taking four times the recommended daily dose?

MD - PHYSCIAN

Kindly share your reports and the I can advise you the correct treatment. Vitamin d is important for skeletal and nonskeletal health. Worldwide, vitamin d is predominantly obtained through exposure to uvb radiation in the form of sunlight and cutaneous vitamin d production. Latitude, cultural dress habits, season, sun avoidance, and sunscreen protection can all limit vitamin d production. Gastrointestinal, hepatic, and renal disease may be related to low vitamin d levels, but hypovitaminosis d most commonly results from inadequate intake. Hypovitaminosis d resulting from lack of uvb exposure is not easily corrected by dietary intake alone in the absence of supplementation. Food fortification with vitamin d is based on outdated recommendations for daily ai. Supplementation with 800 to 1000 iu/d of vitamin d or 50, 000 iu monthly is safe for most people.

Though symptomatic relief can be obtained by intake of laxatives, the underlying cause for chronic constipationneeds to be treated. The causes of constipation can be: 1. Any pathology/ sub acute obstruction in the Gastrointestinal tract. 2. Irritable bowel syndrome- constipation predominant type. 3. Functional cause- due to decreased gastric motility. 4. Inadequate intake of fluids and fiber rich diet. 5. Hormonal & Metabolic causes, etc. So, it will be better to consult a Gastroenterologist for a proper clinical examination. Investigations like complete blood count, stool examination, Ultrasound scan of abdomen, Colonoscopy & contrast studies will be helpful to rule out any pathological cause for your symptoms. Till then, maintain adequate hydration & proper nutrition status. Wishing a good health. Take care.

Vitamin D Deficiency .

Vitamin d is important for bones, muscles and overall health. It is made in our bodies through a series of processes that start when our skin is exposed to the sun's ultraviolet (UV) radiation.

Here are some tips to help you get enough vitamin d.

Take a balanced approach to sun exposure. Uv radiation from the sun is the best natural source of vitamin d, but too much sun exposure can increase your risk of skin cancer.

Speak to your doctor if you are at risk of low vitamin d. You might be at risk of low vitamin d if you have naturally very dark skin, get little or no sun exposure, have a medical condition that affects vitamin d metabolism or take certain medications (for example, those that increase the breakdown of vitamin d). Breastfed babies who fall into the above categories, or have mothers with low vitamin d, can also be at risk.

Exercise daily. Regular exercise assists with production of vitamin d.

Eat enough calcium. Vitamin d and calcium work together to make your bones strong. Make sure you get enough calcium by including a selection of dairy products, leafy vegetables, fish, tofu, brazil nuts and almonds in your diet.

Eat foods rich in vitamin d. Good sources include eggs, liver, and fatty fish such as mackerel, herring, and salmon. Some margarine and low-fat milk have added vitamin d. Food, however, only makes a small contribution (approximately 10 percent) to the body's overall vitamin d levels and it is difficult to get enough vitamin d from diet alone.

Speak to your doctor before taking supplements. Vitamin d supplements may be helpful for some people, but you should speak with your doctor first and take them strictly as directed.

Small and frequent meals is advisable. Use complex carbohydrate as the main energy source rather than fat or protein. Avoid ‘filling up’ with fatty foods such as cheese or meat containing high saturated fat levels. Eat fish, especially oily fish, once or twice a week. Use olive oil or rapeseed oil in cooking. Keep sugar to a minimum especially if overweight. Eat five portions of fruit or vegetables daily. Restrict salt, which is often present in processed foods. Avoid junk foods, grapes, potatoes, etc. Regular moderate aerobic physical activity or Brisk walking for at least 30 minutes on 5 days of the week. With above mention advice you will need medication to control your sugar, kindly see a good endocrinologist for further management Hope this guides you.
