Hi Their is no spot reduction possible through diet or exercise, weight always goes from overall body. Eating healthy is a key to an active life. It sometimes becomes difficult to choose a particular diet plan as you are not too sure about what to eat that will help you lose weight. The best way to lose weight is to eat natural foods which help in maintaining your waistline than processed foods which promise the same. Following is a list of 7 very basic natural foods which help you lose weight and also takes care of your health:

  1. Broccoli - Broccoli is one of the most effective foods which can help you lose weight. It contains several micronutrients and phytochemicals which aid in weight loss by breaking down fats. Broccoli is rich in dietary fiber, minerals, and vitamins and low in calories and yet satisfies your hunger. You can eat it raw, cooked or as a healthy snack. Add this green vegetable to your regular diet and hasten your weight loss process.
  2. Oats - Oats is a healthy addition to your diet as it high on nutrients and fiber. You should include it in the regular diet for at least 4 times a week if you want to lose weight. You can customize your serving to add more nutritional value to your meal. Avoid sugary toppings as they are high in calories and do not promote weight loss. Do not consume oats with added flavors or any other synthetic ingredients.
  3. Apples - Apples are low in calories and rich in fiber. It is a perfect snack which is sweet and satisfying at the same time.   5. Black beans - Black beans are one of the most satisfying proteins which you can consume during weight loss. They are rich in fiber and protein and keep you full for a long time. They contain soluble fiber which helps you fight cholesterol problems. The insoluble fiber in black beans maintains your digestive system and regulates the bowels.
  6. Fruit yogurt - You can see visible results if you cut down your overall calorie intake and supplement it with yogurt in your regular diet. The calcium in yogurt restricts the production of cortisol and controls your appetite. Yogurt also contains amino acids which contribute in burning fat. You can add fruits like blueberry or aloe vera to your yogurt to make it a tastier and healthier snack.

Now you reduce walking distance from 8 to 6 and utilize that time to do tummy exercises, here you are getting waist reduction so through different tummy exercises you can reduce the tummy. Include bicycle exercise, crunches, twist crunches, reverse crunches, vertical leg crunch, the stomach vacuum, bending side to side etc. Select convenient exercise type and start with low grade and increase the number gradually day by day. If you are not following proper timing for food intake that will affect you, in between meals don't put more gaps, maximum 3 hrs. Don't stick with particular type of foods, include all different colored vegetables and fruits, with different millets and cereals, these will avoid any kind of vitamin and mineral deficiency. During muscle exercise you have to increase the protein intake, that will help you to get new cell production and you will get proper shape to the body. Include good sources of protein (egg, chicken, fish,milk, all kind of pulses, legumes and beans.) in a healthy preparation. Drink enough water.

If you are not doing exercise then start it, through doing cardio and tummy exercise you can regain your body shape. According to your height you are not over weight, so follow the normal diet with proper exercise. Start your exercise session with 20 min and day by day increase and reach up to one hour and maintain it. If there avoid regular use of alcohol, soft drinks, deep fried items and sweets and pastries for a time period. Don't stick with a particular type food for a long time, that will make you insufficient in different nutrients. Include all different colored vegetables and fruits. Drink at least 3 liter of water in a day. For tummy you can include, crunches, Twist crunches, side crunch, lunge twist, the stomach vacuum, bicycle exercises, rolling prank exercises etc, from this select convenient one do it. Be regular in exercise.

Gain weight and make fit will be possible with combined action of diet and exercise. Increase the intake of energy and protein with exercise then you will get increase in muscle mass and your weight will increase. Include good protein sources (Egg, Chicken, Mutton etc, Milk, Pulses, Legumes and Beans) in diet to reach the daily requirement. And include two fruit portions daily, and before one hour and after one hour of your exercise include protein rich snacks. Take at least 2 to 3 liter water. In between meals maintain at least 2 to 3 hours gap. Be regular in exercise. These all thing we can say in general and person to person plan will vary. Before exercise also include easily absorbable energy source like fruit juices with your protein rich snacks. In between exercise sips the water, don't gulp as such and after exercise once your heart rate come to normal take sufficient water and protein rich food from above mentioned sources. Make sure you are including all different colored fruits and vegetables in diet. Through maintaining proper required diet and life style normally you will get the weight gain, If not happening please consult a doctor in Gastro department.

Particular personalized plan is not possible without your complete life style details and health status. In general through combined action of exercise and diet we can easily reduce the tummy fat. Here in your case abs muscles are filled with fat, there is no instant remedy to reduce it, gradually we can reduce. Continue your abs exercise and walking or running, if there avoid the intake of Alcohol, soft drinks, sweets and pastries, deep fried items for a time period. Avoid the intake of juice, coffee or tea, sweets with your main meal, If you are taking any rice items always include more vegetables with it as curry, subji, salad etc, If you are taking 3 heavy meals in a day please divide it and have it 6 times and maintain 2 to 3 hours gap in between. You can have like breakfast, mid morning, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner, this way you can avoid heavy meals. Include good source of protein (Egg, chicken, mutton, fish, milk, all pulses, beans) with your main meals. Take at least 3 liter of water. For tummy include exercises like crunches, Twist crunches, Reverse crumbs, Lunge twist, The stomach vacuum, Rolling prank exercise, bending side to side etc.

Protein powder will not give you a fullness feeling. If you remain hungry. Later on you may eat high cal snacks like biscuits etc. It's better to have a roti with dal + lots of veg salads, soups etc. That's a sustainable option in the long term.

Hi, Its better to have small and frequent meals and this type of diet keeps you fit. It generally includes a 6 meal pattern where you will have breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, evening snack, Dinner and bed time snack. Use honey and lemon in the morning which boosts your immunity and metabolism. Include high fibre foods like whole grains, legumes and pulses, vegetables, fruits and skimmed milk, lean meat, skin out chicken, fish, salads, beverages like green tea, lemon tea, buttermilk. Avoid refined carbohydrates, oily and fried foods, butter, ghee, red meat, junk food, carbonated beverages. Stay hydrated all the time and take stairs instead of lift. Give a gap of 2 hours between dinner and sleep and start walking at least 20-30 minutes a day initially and you can extend it up to 1 hour per day depending on your tolerance and for the belly you should do leg raises for lower stomach and head raising crunches for upper stomach in a supine position which works well to reduce belly fat. Try to increase the crunches in sets gradually (each exercise of 3 sets). In a healthy way you can reduce 2 kg per month.

Your daily calorie needs are about 2500 calories. To reduce, You should consume daily 2000 calories, so that you can lose about 2 kgs per month. If You can add an hour of intense excercise and you can lose about 3 kgs a month. Or 36 kgs in 12 months. Use 'Myfitnesspal' app to monitor your calories. Consult a dietitian to get a complete nutrition plan for you. Currently your BMI is 39+ which can lead to many health issues. It's better you start reducing quickly.
