Your symptoms may have manifested itself at late adolescence and were indicative that there was something in your childhood that has precipitated them. If you know of what that is then meet with a counselor to work on that contributing factor. In relation to your question, if you combined counseling with the medication you can expect the best outcomes for your anxiety disorder. However, you must be episode-free for at least three years before the doctor will decide on weaning you off of the medication but in a gradual and effective manner. Counseling will help in training you will skills and techniques to cope with the daily challenges in life and will give you a fair chance to manage your life when the reduction in medicines is initiated by the doctor. You must also develop your constitution to make it fit enough to cope with fear, felt many times unnecessarily. This involves physical fitness through exercise, good rest (sleep), and a proper diet. Mental stability can be achieved by learning a few skills in handling emotions in an appropriate manner. Stress management skills, which have a lot to do with expressing emotions, will need to be a major part of your recovery program. Please persevere and cooperate through all the support you need and you will come through successfully.

What you should know about Urinary Incontinence?

Urinary incontinence is the inability to hold urine in the bladder because of loss of control of the bladder. The severity may range from temporary to chronic, depending on the cause of this disease. Urinary incontinence is more common in women than men and can be categorized into three types.
 

Types and symptoms of urinary incontinence

  • Stress incontinence: This incontinence may occur while participating in any physical activity such as a sudden cough, laugh, sneezing or exercising. The stress here refers to the sudden physical pressure that a person experiences, leading him/her to urinate involuntarily.
  • Urge incontinence: A sudden, involuntary contraction of the muscular wall of the bladder causes an urgency to urinate. This urgency can be formed by a sudden change in position or sex.
  • Overflow incontinence: This is more common in men with prostate gland problems, damaged bladder or blocked urethra. The person has an urge to urinate frequently but in small amounts.

Causes of urinary incontinence
There are a number of causes of urinary incontinence ranging from aging to cancer and physical damage to the neurological disorder.

  • Aging: With age, the bladder muscle weakens and the chances of incontinence increases.
  • Damage: Since the pelvic muscles support the bladder any damage to it (surgery or any procedure to remove the uterus) can lead to urinary incontinence.
  • Enlarged prostate: Enlargement of the prostate gland in older men may give rise to this condition.
  • Cancer: Urinary incontinence may be associated with untreated prostate cancer, which is a side effect of treatments for it.
  • Menopause: Estrogen is a hormone that keeps the lining of bladder and urethra healthy. After menopause the production of estrogen is decreased, increasing the chances of urinary incontinence.

Prevention: Urinary incontinence is not preventable but some steps can be taken to reduce the risk of it. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, avoiding smoking, practicing pelvic floor exercises, avoiding caffeine and acidic foods and eating more fiber to prevent constipation can help decreasing the risk of it. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an urologist.

Hello,Medication will not help at this age, you should try Exercise like stretching swimming regularly yoga like Tadasan and Sarvang asana. play Basket ball regularly. Take proper balanced nutritios and protein rich diet. *Mix two tablespoons of ashwagandha powder in a glass of warm cow’s milk. 1. Add sugar or jaggery according to your taste and mix well. 2. Drink it every night before going to bed at least for 45 days to increase your height. I suggest you to follow these exercises on regular basis in order to get result.

Follow the following tips:- · Pay attention to your health and food intake. · To increase your appetite, have a glass of lime water or 1 cardamom (elaichi) before your meal.  · Have minimum 4 meals in a day. · Drink 1 glass of milk twice a day. · Try to enjoy your meals and gradually increase the quantity you eat every time. · A balance diet should have all essential nutrients in it. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It should include combination of Both Carbohydrates and Proteins for e.g. Oats with Milk or Poha/ Upma with a glass of milk. If you do not like milk have 1-2 egg whites in the morning along with your breakfast. · You need to focus on your protein intake : Increase your protein intake e.g. milk, dairy products- cheese, paneer, lentils (dals), nuts ( soya, peanuts, dry fruits ), pulses e.g. rajma, chole, kidney beans etc. sprouts. If you are a non-vegetarian, then you can have proteins by also eating eggs, chicken, fish. Make sure you are including at least 2 serving of any of these in your daily meal. · Lunch and dinner again should be a combination of Proteins, Carbohydrates and Fats which could have dal, roti, sabji/chicken, salad.  · Please do have minimum 4 almonds or a small bowl of peanuts every day. · Please ensure that you drink at least 3 litres of water every day.

Yes, pregnancy is possible with pcod problem. I advise you to take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Take 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. Avoid non veg and eggs. Keep your weight normal as compared to your height these will help you in your pcod problem.

Function of shampoo is to clean the scalp. It doesn't help to control the hair fall. Hair roots are situated inside the scalp and it gets nutrition through blood so eat food which is rich in minerals, protein and iron. Oil the scalp 3/week and wash it 3/week. Weight loss is not the same as fat loss. Weight is part of your whole body including your muscles, fats, bones, organs, water. What we need to consider is your fat weight only. So the minute you binge on sweets and all the wrong foods your body holds water and that is the weight which reflect on the scale. You must be in a very restricted diet the whole week so the minute you eat the weight increases. Meat is not bad for health. It is a good source of protein so if you do in right quantities it helps you in fat loss by increasing muscle mass.

Start taking black til (Seasam) with a glass of lukewarm milk early morning. avoid pickles, spices, oily, greesy food items. Start avle ka murabba. Also have a high protien rich diet e.g. Pulses, Dry fruits, Black gram, Ground nut etc. also oil ur hair with good herbal oil and wash with herbal shamppoo - avoid shampoos with high acid contents. As far as Ayurveda's therapy is concerned - start with Shirodhara with herbal oil and Nasyam therapy for atleast 15 days. This will greatly help. Do gentle massage with herbal hair oil daily night for 15 minutes. Although some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking. Sir. I am running 65years og age. I come across cabg in 29 aug 2015 and I anm diabetic since 1996 my hba1c floated 6 to 6.30 and hdl 35 to 38 ldl80 to 52 in every three monthinterval pathological test. Hello sir, your cabg happened last year 2014 right? your hba1c is fine. Your weight and cholesterol along with history of heart disease, it is better to avoid yolk sac. From my view white of an egg is ok once a week, as it is also protein rich and tend to convert in fats take once a week. Also join cardiac rehabilitation programmes conducted by most of the 100 + bedded hospitals which will guide you better about exercise and diet. Along with the regular tablets do start homoeopathy which will help you to have better quality of life. Thanks.

Hi, My friend is 34 years old single. He is been drinking every day from many years. I know him from past 4-6 years but couldn't meet him usually. He use to stay with parents but from few days his father is complaining about him he is not going to office regularly and fights with his parents on small issues and keeps on drinking and blame his parents for his situation and asked them to leave. Because of his behaviour he lost his current job that's when I meet him. I thought as a friend I can help him but things are getting worse. He is only looking for a reason to drink and blame his family. He in fact blame his parents for he being single. Now he have joined a new company and had started working and said will quit drinking but still in the same situation. I know he is going through depression but Sony know how I can help him as a friend to get him out of it and quit his drinking. It's not he didn't tried quiting but he cannot stay away from it for more than 4 days. Dr. please help can't see my friend in this situation. Looking for a positive response.

Alcohol dependence is associated with significant physical, mental and social problems. Physically, there can be liver failure, jaundice, vomiting of blood, passing blood in stools, stomach ulcers, damage to nerves of the body, swelling of legs, fluid collection in abdomen, and many more. Mentally, there is irreversible brain damage, worsening of anxiety or depression, triggering of psychosis and mood disorders, dementia, etc. From a social point of view, there may be isolation from neighbors or family, increased abusive behavior to children or spouses, legal problems, accidents, etc. Try to convince your friend to seek medical help. Get his liver function tests done; if they are deranged, that can be used as a motivation to seek psychiatric help. It is common to have anxiety, depression, etc in these patients. However this increases their risk of self harm and sucicide. Do not give him any medication as advertised on TV or newspapers, which claim to treat the patient of alcoholism without his knowledge. Anti craving medications are available which will help to reduce the craving. Consult a psychiatrist with experience in deaddiction. You may consult me if required.

Things you need

Olive oil- 1 tsp
Warm water- ½ cup
Muslin cloth
Process

Take 1 tsp of olive oil.
Apply this olive oil all over the face and neck.
Then massage the face gently in circular motions for 1 to 2 minutes so that the oil can penetrate deep into the skin.
Later saturate the muslin cloth in lukewarm water and squeeze out the excess water.

3. Olive Oil, Glycerin and Honey Face Pack

Firstly heat olive oil to a lukewarm temperature.
Then add glycerin and honey into this lukewarm extra virgin olive oil.
Mix the ingredients well and apply this solution on wrinkles near the eye area using the ring finger.
Massage the eye area with ring finger very gently in circular motions.
Leave this solution on the eye area for 15 to 20 minutes.
Later rinse the eye area with warm water and pat the skin dry.
