Best is YOGA... do regular gentle massage on affected area...do accupressure therapy a month...and take 5 min break session after every hou while doing work...sit in straight posture...stop takin pillow.

Dear lybrate-user, commonest cause of foot pain is faulty foot wear. So if you have foot pain may be we need to find out what is wrong with your foot wear. You also need a diagnosis so that needs detailed evaluation and imaging to come to a diagnosis. Meanwhile you can wriggle your toes and move them often in office when you are just sitting after removing your shoes.

Most leg pain results from wear and tear, overuse, or injuries in joints or bones or in muscles, ligaments, tendons or other soft tissues. Leg pain can also be caused by blood clots, varicose veins or poor circulation. To relieve mild pain: stay off your leg as much as possible apply an ice pack or bag of frozen peas to the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes three times a day elevate your leg whenever you sit or lie down please go to a physiotherapist if: you have pain during or after walking you have swelling in both legs your pain gets worse your symptoms don't improve after a few days of home treatment you have painful varicose veins if you feel the pain is from muscle cramp then you need to drink a lot of water because poor fluid intake (dehydration) may predispose to cramps also low blood levels of either calcium or magnesium directly cause cramps.

I am having pain in my vertebral column, back of shoulders, lower back and legs. I feel a pressing pain in my upper back in the vertebral column and back of shoulders. I also feel muscle stiffness in my back. I am suffering from constipation also. If defecation is not normal for even two days, I am not able to stand for even a short time since my legs pain. Some times I even have pain in may arms when I exercise and sometimes even when I do not. Please help me with the pain and constipation.

Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya vatari syrup and capsule twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Hello, I am 29 years old suffering from knee pain for right leg on right side from past one week. Not able to fold, walk and sit. Sometimes it is from foot to knee. Please suggest me solution for it.

Kindly show me a photograph & digital x rays of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

There should not be pain at this young age. It seems you have 'veeryadushti' (debilitated semen/ 'Shukrakshay') etc. You need semen nourishments herbals. Sex enhancing and semen nourishments are categorized under one classification. Pl take our course of sex enhancer package or simple semen nourishment package for vigour and pleasure. Pl consult.

Towel Hamstring Stretch Lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it.. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds

For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Best Exercises For Knee Pain dear you can do it, Except where stated, do 10 to 12 repetitions of each of the following, 2 or 3 times a week. Partial Squats E pain. Stand about 12 inches away from the front of a chair with your feet about hip-width apart and your toes forward. Bending at the hips, slowly lower yourself halfway down to the chair. KeSide-Lying Leg Lifts Wearing ankle weights above the knee, lie on your left side, legs straight and together, with your left arm supporting your head. Keeping your right foot flexed and your body straight, slowly lift your right leg to about shoulder height, then slowly lower. Repeat with your left legep your abs tight, aSUsing an aerobic step bench or a staircase, step up onto the step with your right foot. Tap your left foot on the top of the step, and then lower. As you step up, your knee should be directly over your ankle. Repeat with your left foot. Tep-Upsnd check that your knees stay behind your toes. Inner-Thigh Leg Lifts Wearing ankle weights above the knee, lie on your left side, slightly back on your butt. Bend your right leg and place it behind your left leg with your right foot flat on the floor and your left leg straight. Support your head with your left arm. Slowly lift your left leg about 3 to 5 inches, then lower. Repeat with your right leg Straight-Leg Raises Sit with your back against a wall, left leg straight and right leg bent with your foot flat on the floor. Slowly raise your left leg straight up about 12 inches off the floor. Hold, then slowly lower. Repeat with your right leg. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Hello. I had a small plate removal surgery 2 months back. After giving proper time to recovery I started working out. After some time I noticed that my hand has lost some muscle. The hand with surgery is not in shape as the other had. The bicep size has also reduced to half inch. I want to recover the muscle and get my both hands in same shape. What should I do.

Dear lybrate-user, Your problem is due to disuse wasting of the involved side probably due to the fear factor. Since the plate has been removed the union must be good. You can slowly exercising the hand in graded manner. An occupational therapist can show you the activities by which you can regain your upper limb function. Initially you can start with moving all the joints of the arm through full range of movements starting with the small joints of the hand ,wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You can slowly progress to weighted exercises using 2 kg dumbbells slowly increasing the weight. Try to do all activities with both hands.
