Dear user. I can understand. Stress is simply a reaction to a stimulus that disturbs our physical or mental equilibrium. In other words, it's an omnipresent part of life. A stressful event can trigger the “fight-or-flight” response, causing hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol to surge through the body. A little bit of stress, known as “acute stress,” can be exciting—it keeps us active and alert. But long-term, or “chronic stress,” can have detrimental effects on health. There is nothing to worry much about stress because stress is part of your body's defense mechanism. Stress is essential too. You may not be able to control the stressors in your world, but you can alter your reaction to them. I need to know, what are the causes with which you are stressed? Once you know the reason, you will be able to adjust with it with some tips and tricks. Please let me know the details. Take care.

Scarless Abdominal Surgery

Fellowship in HPB and Transplant surgery, Fellowship in HPB oncology, M.Ch - Surgical Gastroenterology/G.I. Surgery, Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), MS - General Surgery

Scarless Abdominal Surgery

HOW CAN SURGERY BE SCAR LESS?

It is not possible to magically perform operations without access to the abdomen. Scar less or SILS (single incision laparoscopic surgery) is an advanced technique in laparoscopy where the procedure is performed through the umbilicus instead of the traditional 4 or more laparoscopic incisions. As the incision is through the umbilicus the scar is virtually invisible. Single-incision laparoscopic surgical procedures require an experienced surgeon who is highly skilled and experienced in laparoscopic surgery.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF SCAR LESS LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY (SILS)?

In addition to improved cosmetic outcomes. Single incision laparoscopic surgery leaves the patient with the potential for less post-operative pain, quicker recovery time and reduced risk of wound site infections.

DOES IT NEED SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT?

SILS surgery needs specialised ports and instruments so that we can achieve triangulation at the surgical site. The imaging system should be high resolution with a HD or 3D camera. The most important factor is a surgeon with the large experience in these procedures both by open as well as laparoscopic route so that it can be done safely.

CAN ALL SURGERIES BE PERFORMED LAPAROSCOPICALLY?

Though a wide range of surgeries have been attempted by SILS as of now it is performed on a regular basis for few standard laparoscopic procedures such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy, appendectomy and obesity surgery. Especially for surgeries like cholecystectomy with risk of bile duct injury it should performed by a surgical gastroenterologist with in-depth knowledge of the gallbladder and bile duct anatomy and physiology.

IS IT A SAFE OPERATION?

Patient selection is very important Not every patient who wants scarless surgery can be offered surgery. Generally patient uncomplicated appendicitis / cholecystitis can undergo scarless surgery. However if local factors are not conducive safe completion of the procedure is more important than cosmesis. Patients should be prepared for conversion to reduced port or multiport laparoscopic surgery if situation warrants.

IS IT AN EXPENSIVE OPERATION?

If the patient built and local factors make it feasible to perform scarless laaproscpic surgery the cost is only marginally higher than standard laproscopic surgery because of the few additional specialized equipment used. It is definitely not much expensive compared to standard surgery.

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT AFTER SURGERY?

The surgery can be performed in about one hour with a typical hospital stay of less than 24 hours.

You will have mild pain and soreness at umbilicus with a 1.5 to 2 cm incision hidden in the umbilicus grove. Patients will probably be able to get back to normal activities within 3-4 days time, including driving, walking up stairs, light lifting and work.

In two weeks time the scar is contracts and disappear into the umbilical fold & becomes virtually invisible. You have undergone a magically scarless operation on your tummy!!

I am fatty. I want to remove my fat. I am doing lots of exercise but I unable to loose it so please help me out.
Input =Output,it is a simple mathematics. What we eat /burn will reflect on our body.I dont expect to hear such depressing words from you youngsters. It proves that you are not doing your work efficiently. Some element is missing in your chain.Either you have increased your input while exercising in terms of eating habits ( like sweets,Junk and fried food) or you are not enjoying your exercise.May be I am wrong by saying so but some thing is really missing and you should really think about it.I will suggest you some easy steps in your life style which will certainly help you to decrease your weight.Try them for 2-3 months and see the results----------- 1.Stop eating Fast and Junk food 2.Say bye bye to sweets in every form ,even try to drink Milk without sugar 3.Avoid over eating and try to eat 10% less than your appetite. 4.Eat slowly and nonspicy food, take your time while eating 5.Dont drink water while taking your meals, drink 30 minutes before/after meals. It can be done only when food is nonspicy or you are eating slowly.try it. 6.Breakfast and Dinner light and Lunch medium. 7.Try to take dinner at least 60 minutes before sleeping and dont eat/drink anything except water/Milk after dinner. 8.Try to sleep latest by 9. 9.Now comes to exercise.Try to enjoy your exercises.I think you are exercising just out of compulsion. If you start enjoying ,results will be far better.Try to do differently in Gym dailyIt will not make you bore.I have seen youngsters burning 600-800 calories in 60 minutes. Implement the above steps in your life style for first 3 months.See the changes and then consult me for further mode of action if there is any requirement which I feel it should not be as by 3 months time results would start pouring in and would be enjoying your activities and would have already set some high goals for yourself even before my consultation. This is my expectation from you like teenagers Rak.Fitness is the key to everything,Just keep this thing always in mind.

Hello, the idea of sleeping to left is to avoid compression of aorta and decrease blood supply to uterus. It doesn't matter how you turn, but right side should be avoided.
