Hi lybrate-user, its good to know you swim daily - tats the best fitness exercise. Some tips: 1.always wet your body and scalp before you enter the pool to soak up the water first rather than the chlorinated water. Always make sure to rinse post swim also. Now about the tan, make sure to wear waterproof sunscreen before and after swimming as well. You can also make sure to use a higher spf for the same. Make sure to give yourself a good oil and/or curd massage twice a week to further reduce from tanning. Take care.

Hello lybrate-user I understand oily skin can be quite a stress especially during summer. Please make sure to use cleansers which are labelled non- comedogenic and look for components such as AHA/BHA. To control your sebum/ oil production. Jajoba oil is good because by applying on your face you trick your skin into thinking there is adequate oil and so the glands refrain from producing more. Black spots on your face need medical treatment for which you will have to see your dermatologist/ book for an online consultation with your photo. Chemical peels are a good bet for both oiliness and pigmentation. T.c.

Hello lybrate-user if you are diagnosed with eczema, I am sure you would already been given a set of instructions. However it is important 1. To use mild cleansers/ oat meal based cleansers if your skin is generally dry. 2. Moisturise adequately and frequently. Home oils or coconut oils are good but may dry out faster and increase your chance of itching. 3. Also please continue to use specific creams on areas of concerns 4. Avoid rugs, change your sheets and try to be in a plant free pet free zone as pollen and mite may aggravate the condition. Take care and get well soon.

Hello ohithkumar since your already using a sunscreen and a specific face wash, going in for good exfoliation treatments like peels would do you good because 1. It will enhance the colour of your skin due to exfoliation if dead skin 2. The texture of your skin will improvise in addition to its anti-aging effect 3. Also a good oil control and prevention of newer pimple can be achieved. Good luck.

Hello lybrate-user, there are a various modalities of treatment for the same however the quickest response would be from intralseional injections. The cost will vary depending on the number of lesions and the extent to which it is spread. Alopecia you are referring to is what we call alopecia areata and may recur if there is any form of stress or if you have an allergic tendacy like atopy. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Hi lybrate-user you are right there are plenty of creams available in the market even for your skin type ranging from face wahes sunscreens to BB creams to skin lightening range. It only depends on how much you are willing to spend. Anyways you should be looking for products with primarily salicylic acid and or glycolic acid in them. Also look for products that are mentioned non-comedogenic. If you are looking for a specific prescription kindly book an online appointment/ private chat. Thank you and have a good day.

Hello lybrate-user, I understand your concern. It is alright to undergo any kind of hair removal such as shaving/ threading in between your procedures However just before you plan to go in for your hair removal (2 days before or after) session, refrain from using waxing/threading as it may irritate your skin. Hope I answered your question. Thank you and have a good day.

Hello lybrate-user if your looking to take the skin lightening pills- please consult with your dermatologist beforehand. Taking the right medication at the right dosage will not cause harm. However since you feel exposed areas are becoming darker- using life style modifications like wearing a sunscreen regularly and a good one at that along with skin lightening cleansers will kick start the maintainance of your skin on the long run. Thanks and regards.

Hi lybrate-user I understand your concern however dryness can be easily controlled with the usage of good conditioners and if you are someone to diy then please try egg masks and aloe vera masks weekly once for moisturising and strengthening your hair. There are many alternate mild cleansers for hair available for regular use. Using a baby shampoo for an adult damaged hair is not the right way to proceed.
