Infertility - How Ayurvedic Herbs Can Help Treat It?

Infertility is a medical condition which is characterised by problems in successful conception, even after prolonged and frequent unprotected sex amongst a couple. Infertility may occur due to problems with either the male, the female partner and in many cases both of them. This condition can cause much strife in a relationship not just within the individuals but also be a cause for social embarrassment. The causes of infertility could be-

Other lifestyle related reasons could be excessive alcohol consumption, aging, diabetes, obesity, high pressure and as a side effect of radiation therapy or other medications.

Ayurveda and Infertility-

According to Ayurvedic scriptures, infertility occurs when there is a deficiency of nutrients in the Shukra Dhatu of an individual. This might occur as a result of indigestion and excessive toxic content in the human body. This could be caused due to excessive consumption of spicy foods or if they have chronic stress or anxiety. The Ayurvedic remedies boost the nutrition of the Shukra Dhatu in order to boost fertility. The most potent Ayurvedic herbs which can cure infertility are as follows:

  1. A prescribed consumption of the powder of dried banyan bark along with sugar might help to cure infertility.
  2. The inclusion of cumin and turmeric powder in regulated dosages in your daily food might also help to facilitate fertility.
  3. A consumption of the root of the herb Ashwagandha for 3 times a day has also been shown to be beneficial.
  4. A daily consumption of the powder of Vanari Kalpa in warm milk might help in curing any problems related to the ejaculation of semen.
  5. Consuming a mixture of the powder of Vrushya vati in warm milk, it might help to increase the sperm count.
  6. The consumption of Ayurvedic preparation of phalasarpi (a mixture of the herbs Kustha, manjistha, Triphala, tagara, haldi etc.) might help to deal with the problems of infertility in women.
  7. Yoga also has many effective asanas or poses which help boost both male and female fertility and thus may help in correcting infertility caused due to physical factors such as injuries or deformities.
  8. Changes in lifestyle also have to be brought in such as quitting smoking, reducing alcohol consumption among others. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

How to overcome with the gastric ulcers. How to reduce the uiric acid level in blood.

MBBS, MD - Internal Medicine
Internal Medicine Specialist, Faridabad
How to overcome with the gastric ulcers. How to reduce the uiric acid level in blood.
take tab. charcoal for gastric ulcer.cap. pan-40 mg once a day. A high uric acid level can be caused when your body either produces too much uric acid or your kidneys don't eliminate uric acid rapidly enough. A high uric acid level may cause increasingly frequent attacks of gout, or it may never cause problems. A high uric acid level may also cause some people to develop kidney stones or kidney failure. And some people with a high uric acid level also develop high blood pressure, heart disease or chronic kidney disease, but it's often unclear whether this is a direct cause or merely an early warning sign of these conditions. Factors that may cause a high uric acid level in your blood include: Diuretic medications (water pills),Drinking too much alcohol,Genetics (inherited tendencies),hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid),Immune-suppressing drugs,Niacin, or vitamin B-3, obesity, psoriasis, Purine-rich diet — organ meat, game meat, anchovies, herring, gravy, dried beans, driedpeas, mushrooms and other foods Renal insufficiency — inability of the kidneys to filter waste Tumor lysis syndrome — a rapid release of cells into the blood caused by certain cancers or by chemotherapy for those cancers,Also, you may be monitored for high uric acid levels when undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment for cancer. Avoid protein diets, avoid more milk products. bad habits , fast food/fat/oily,salty foods. Coffee, smoking, alcohol intake. Non-veg., take whole grain, oats, green veg.,plenty of water in day time, 1 glass of water at night before bed. Take tab. Zyloric 100 mg once a day. Tab. Ulracet sos for pain in joints.

She is suffering from thyroid. TSH level is high upto 11. But T3 and T4 are normal kindly suggest me best medicine.
TSH 11 is suggestive of hypothyroid. T3T4 are normal because pituitary gland is stimulating your thyroid to produce more T3T4 by secreting more TSH. Start thyroid supplement under supervision of a Physician/Endocrinologist.

Which of the oils is best and safety for diabetic patients. Kindly describe the reasons about it.

Which of the oils is best and safety for diabetic patients. Kindly describe the reasons about it.
Blend of Desi ghee and mustard oil or if you can afford olive oil. There is ratio of essential fatty acids which keeps you healthy. There are two important fatty acids omega3 and omega 6 and ideal ratio of them 1: 4. If you take refind oils this ratio goes upto 1: 70 or less. Which produces oxidative stess in body and give rise to heart problem. By consuming desi ghee and mustard oil but in less amount this ratio comes 1: 8 which is close to ideal ratio.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Your blood glucose looks to be in fair control. Ideally HbA1c % should be <7. & creatinine also should be around 1.4 mg. So please look at your diet and may be the daily exercise, that can help in achieving the desired levels. As regards TSH which is again high. If there are any symptoms related to hypothyroidism, there is a need for slight (12.5 mcg) increase in thyroxine dosage. Thanks.
