Is it possible to get coating on teeth if someone is born with slight yellowish color teeth.
Cleaning teeth will help to remove stains and calculus from teeth. Cleaning will never make teeth white. To make teeth white you should do teeth bleeching it can make teeth white and it stays for 6 months if you maintain it properly. Using veneers or crowns will stay for longer duration visit a endodontist or oral medicine specialist to get opinion.

Hello Yes it will pain because it is making space in your jaw to come out. Surely you need to get it extracted. Surgery depends upon the position where is is coming out. We will get your xray done and then it will be done. Hope my answer was helpful to you. Thank you.

Basically U may be suffering from tooth malformation in which your enamel has not formed properly. In such case brushing regularly and having a balanced diet will help. Also get a fluoride treatment done. This may help in reducing the cavity formation. Also if there is lot of tooth destruction go for crowns.

All About Malocclusion - Crowded Teeth!

Malocclusion of the teeth is a misalignment problem that can lead to serious oral health complications. It’s also known as:

The teeth won’t be able to perform vital functions if they’re misaligned. Learn more about this issue and how it may be treated, to protect your overall oral and digestive health.

What Causes Malocclusion?
Malocclusion is usually an inherited condition. This means it can be passed down from one generation to the next.

There are some conditions or habits that may change the shape and structure of the jaw. These include:

  • cleft lip and palate
  • frequent use of a pacifier after the age of 3
  • prolonged use of bottle feeding in early childhood
  • thumb sucking in early childhood
  • injuries that result in the misalignment of the jaw
  • tumors in the mouth or jaw
  • abnormally shaped or impacted teeth
  • poor dental care that results in improperly fitting dental fillings, crowns, or braces
  • airway obstruction (mouth breathing), potentially caused by allergies or by enlarged adenoids or tonsils

What Are the Symptoms of a Malocclusion?

Depending on the classification of malocclusion, the symptoms of the disorder may be subtle or severe. Typical symptoms of malocclusion include:

  • improper alignment of the teeth
  • alteration in the appearance of the face
  • frequent biting of the inner cheeks or tongue
  • discomfort when chewing or biting
  • speech problems, including the development of a lisp
  • breathing through the mouth rather than the nose

How Is a Malocclusion of the Teeth Treated?

Most people with mild malocclusion will not require any treatment. However, your dentist may refer you to an orthodontist if your malocclusion is severe. Depending on your type of malocclusion, your orthodontist may recommend various treatments. These can include:

  1. braces to correct the position of the teeth
  2. removal of teeth to correct overcrowding
  3. reshaping, bonding, or capping of teeth
  4. surgery to reshape or shorten the jaw
  5. wires or plates to stabilize the jaw bone

Treatment for the disorder may also result in some complications. These include:

  1. tooth decay
  2. pain or discomfort
  3. irritation of the mouth from the use of appliances, such as braces
  4. difficulty chewing or speaking during treatment

If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a dentist.

You can exercise for healthier gums as well. Gently bite down so as to make sure that your teeth make a clinking sound when they meet. Repeat this 30 to 40 times continously. This exercise will stimulate the flow of blood and will keep your gums healthy.

I have white colored skin in my tongue for once in month. It is very pain full. What should I do.

Why To take One Glass of LemomJuice In Luke Warm Water Daily Early In Morning Immediately after Tooth Brushing. Whether Obesity can be Checked?

Why To take One Glass of LemomJuice In Luke Warm Water Daily Early In Morning Immediately after Tooth Brushing. Wheth...
yes obesity can be checked with lemon juice and warm water. When you consume lemon water, the acidity of it weakens the enamel of teeth temporarily for around 45 mins. Now suppose if you brush after consuming lemon juice and water, you are brushing off weakened enamel which will lead to sensitivity. Hence it I advisable to brush before.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.
