Dear lybrate-user, mobile phone addiction is almost equivalent to other addictions. The pleasure center of your brain gets activated and it asks you for more and more. You need to find another alternative activity which gives you more pleasure than mobile phone. Engaging in entertainment, games etc can give you more pleasure.

Hi doctor, Am a 33 years old men working as an engineer in gulf for 5 yrs. Reasonly married a girl having 26 yr. From the college time started the masturbation and pan masala or same like till the time. When I am with my family nothing those habits. After marriage intercourse happened regularly but result was negative 2 times of her period, after 40 days leave I came to gulf. Annually only 30 days leave I have. Actually we wish for a baby but faith. My daily routine is also not in a track, no proper time for food and sleep, sometimes no food. Anxiety and stress with my job and future. In those situation am getting relaxed with porn and masturbating, the same time using pan masala or same like anything. After that always am taking decision in future am not do this, want to stop all these, but till the time I can't. Before once a day done masturbation but nowadays its 2 times. I want to stop all these and I need a good and happy life with my family. How can I prepare self for having a baby. Now I hope my semen quantity is very less. Kindly help me as soon as possible. Dear lybrate user, I understand that you are in a very difficult situation. I see that you are worried about your family life and your own habits. All human beings need love and care. Since you are staying away from your family, I guess you picked up these habits (maturbation and pan masala) because probably you were feeling lonely and needed some bodily pleasures. Please understand that pan masala can be addictive and a prolonged use may cause cancer. Masturbation is healthy when it is done to relieve your intense sexual urge. But maturbation as a habit or when done under compulsion, is harmful. If you do not control you mind, you will start maturbating more frequently but may not have the same pleasure everytime. Once you get used to the self pleasure, when you come back on leave you will not be able to enjoy sex with your wife. Hence, please try to control maturbation - initially reduce it to once a day, then may be once in 2 - 3 days and later on only when you have intense sexual urge. Watching porn is also very harmful for your marriage. What is shown in porn videos is not true in real life. If you expect similar sexual acts in your bed room, it is not possible. Sex is a physical need. And for human beings, when two partners are physically and emotionally connected, sex is pleasurable. Over exposure to violent sexual acts will make you disinterested in sex later on. It may also cause guilt and shame and aversion to sex. So to avoid both these habits try to do some activities which are healthy, like start some physical exercise, go for walk, cycling etc. If possible learn some yoga/pranayama. This will help you in relieving your physical and mental stress. If you have faith in your religion then start some rituals that you believe in. More importantly, please try to understand that this job is keeping you away from your family and you are deprived of some basic needs like love and care. You also mentioned that you live without food sometimes. In such situation, you may think about other job options in india. There are so many people who work here. Try to find out jobs suitable for your skills. May be you can just start something on your own. I understand that you are very keen to have a baby. But it is a huge responsibility. So first, make a good emotional connect with your wife, have some future plans together. Your child will need his/her father, please remember that. So think rationally. Take care.

Dear , feeling lonely usually means just feeling lonely. Don't put more weight on feelings. If you want to change your" feeling, get up and go out side. Engage yourself in creative activities, physical activities, entertaining activities etc. Take care.

Dear lybrate user lybrate-user due to heavy pressure and changing environment every one is facing so much tension and stress so its common these days. Make yourself busy so that your brain should be in motion and for bad thoughts listen so loud music. Try some deep breathing exercise. Lie down before 10 or 10: 30 and read some book and if your sleeping cycle will be regular then your stress level will also decrease. Consult any psychologist it will help.

Do a deep breathing exercise. Deep breathing can help you relax and reduce any stress in your body, including your head. Take slow, even breaths and try to relax. Close your eyes and take several deep breaths. Exhale slowly, relaxing any areas in your body that feel tight. Picture a beautiful scene, like a sandy beach, a bright sunny garden, or a country road. Drop your chin toward your chest. Slowly rotate your head in a half circle from side to side. Take another deep breath and exhale slowly. Continue picturing the beautiful scene in your head. Repeat this exercise until you are in a state of relaxation.

Don't worry too much about the failure but I hope you have learned your lessons from it. Lots of great people have had failures but they have picked themselves up and done better after that. So it is your turn now. I suspect that the adolescent issues with regard to hormones may be affecting your ability to concentrate. When the hormones play up, it lasts for a period of close to two years and during that time you could be influenced by three signs directly impacted by the chemical: you will tend to become aggressive and rebellious, you will become sexually active, and you will have acne and pimple problems. The hormonal imbalances may not only impact your memory because of the chemical but also bring some distractions that come with it. But you may work on the following even if the hormones kick in: Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night?s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning at least five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There are some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that the family goes for counseling too.

Smoking has many adverse effect on different system in your body. Congratulations that you are thinking about quitting it. Now you need to figure out the best strategy that works for you. Following information may help you. Along with biotin patch or nicotin gum. This is what I would advice. One of the few habits which takes very systematic approach and needs lot of support and individualized strategies to quit successfully. Data such as - since how long are you smoking and how many cigarettes a day you consume are important information. Also have you tried quitting it earlier? how successful were you? and what are your personal reasons to stop smoking? all these are also important part of your success strategy. Broadly speaking your reasons for not smoking work as your motivator. The stronger the reasons behind not smoking the higher the motivation and thus higher the chances for you to be successful. Also your body will have a withdrawal symptoms and it is very important to come up with strategies and solid plan to counter these withdrawal symptoms. These strategies should be tailor-maid as per your need and situation. If you consider these and many other individualized approach and if you have a solid support throughout your journey. You would be able to make a shift from being a smoker to a non smoker. Along with this eating healthy and having a good routine for eat and sleep is also very important. Exercise plays a huge roll when it comes to staying positively motivated and managing cravings. I hope this helps, wishing you very best.

You need to find the cause. You can take help of any counsellor regarding this.
