Taking the following could also help in accelerating the weight loss process: taking pranacharya medohar rasayan (1-1) twice a day; taking medohar guggul (2-2) twice a day; pranacharya slim capsule (1-1) twice a day. 2. It is advisable to avoid junk, fried, fermented or oily food. You should also avoid the intake of alcohol, sugar, dairy products. 3. You should increase the intake of oats and cereals. You should incorporate a walk of at least 45 minutes in your daily regime and prayanama every morning. It is advised not to sleep immediately after taking a meal.

Hi, my father is 62 years old and from last 6 months he stop working. He is talking less, eating less due to which other problems are arising like constipation, lack of sleep, change in behaviour, lack of self care, irritation etc.

Hi , it is kind of you to write this for your father. You must be a wonderful daughter:) sounds like he is having some trouble coping with the change in lifestyle. Helping him through the transition by encouraging him to spend time pursuing his hobbies and doing some physical activity might be useful. We too, would be happy to take him onto one of our programs where we would use motivational counseling to change behavior and help him cope.

I am an under weighted guy & want to gain some more weight. Will supplement such as Endura Mass will help?
Here are some energy-dense foods that are perfect for gaining weight: • Nuts: Almonds, walnuts, macadamia nuts, peanuts, etc. • Dried fruit: Raisins, dates, prunes and others. • High-fat dairy: Whole milk, full-fat yogurt, cheese, cream. • Fats and Oils: Extra virgin olive oil and avocado oil. • Grains: Whole grains like oats and brown rice. • Meat: Chicken, beef, pork, lamb, etc. Choose fattier cuts. • Tubers: Potatoes, sweet potatoes and yams. • Dark chocolate, avocados, peanut butter, coconut milk, granola, trail mixes. 8 More Tips to Gain Weight 1. Don’t drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. 2. Eat more often. Squeeze in an additional meal or snack whenever you can, such as before bed. 3. Drink milk. Drinking whole milk to quench thirst is a simple way to get in more high-quality protein and calories. 4. Try weight gainer shakes. If you are really struggling then you can try weight gainer shakes. These are very high in protein, carbs and calories. 5. Use bigger plates. Definitely use large plates if you are trying to get in more calories, as smaller plates cause people to automatically eat less. 6. Add cream to your coffee. This is a simple way to add in more calories. 7. Take creatine. The muscle building supplement creatine monohydrate can help you gain a few pounds in muscle weight. 8. Get quality sleep. Sleeping properly is very important for muscle growth.

If you gain muscle mass, you will gain weight. Your diet should contain additional protein, preferably from animal sources. If you lose weight through the training, it will be due to loss of water, salts and hidden fats, all of which is desirable in order to remain healthy.

As per the present reports your baby seems to be normal, need not worry about the hb value if its above 10 as it fluctuates most of the time, give a proper diet rich in iron and vitamins like green leafy vegetables, jaggery, dates, carrot, beet root etc. Generally the weight gain halts at this age group and its very slow progress till few years so need not worry abt the weight gain as long as the child is active. Give diet rich in calories if you want the child to gain weight. Giving pediasure after 2 years of age will help in gaining weight.

No. All diabetics do not have eye and kidney problems. But if blood sugar levels are high for prolonged periods and if medications are missed regularly then eyes, heart and kidney get affected the most.

Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1.Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2.Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3.Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4.Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A.Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B.At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c.Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D.Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E.Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F.Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H.Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.
