Lybrate-user everyone has different lifestyle and body. There is no fit for all diet chart. You need customized diet plan along with proper workout schedule. Mean while few tips for you are- start eating small frequent meals and don't skip any meals specially breakfast. Include whole grains and use atta with bran take high fibre diet which include lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Drink atleast 10-12 glasses of water. Avoid drinking calories in form of juices and carbonated drinks. Avoid eating junk food, fried food and maida products. Try to eat home made food as much as possible. Move yourself use stairs, walk to near by places instead of using any vehicle include at least 45-60 minutes workout in your routine. Take sound sleep of at least 7-8 hours. Quit smoking and drinking if any manage stress keep positive frame toward life appreciate yourself as it is not going to happen overnight. Consult me online for better results.

Hello, it is not advisable to loose 15kgs in 2 months, but by natural and good ways you can reduce 10 to 12 kgs, you need a specific diet chart, exercise schedule and a will power for that.

You have to eat frequently i. E every 3rd hour. Include more of vegetables, fruits, dryfruits and greenleafy vegetable in diet. Avoid sweets, deep fries and maida products such as bakery items and chinese food. Your weight is normal, try to maintain at this weight only.

How should you approach pain caused due to sports injuries?

Sports injuries can happen to any person who engages in sporting activities. These affect full-time athletes as well as those who partake in sports and exercising on an occasional basis. Most sports injuries are acute and affect the muscles and skeletal system. Usually, they are not chronic unless caused by a grave accident or left untreated.

The most common types of injuries caused due to sports are as follows:

  •  ankle sprain
  •  wrist sprain
  •  concussion
  •  knee injury
  •  tennis elbow
  •  hamstring pull
  •  cartilage damage

Treatment of sports injuries depends on a number of factors such as the type of injury, part of the body affected, the intensity of the pain, and the patient's age and medical history.

Accordingly, the most common ways of approaching the pain caused by sports injuries are:

1. Immediate remedies


Several quick aid, home remedies are used to treat pain that is caused by minor injuries to muscles, such as sprains and strains. It involves alleviation of pain through rest, using ice packs and hot water bags, wearing supports and elastic compression bandages.

2. Medication

Many medicines such as painkillers and anti-inflammatory pills, creams and sprays effectively reduce pain caused by sports injuries. In extreme cases, morphine and codeine are also prescribed.

3. Physical therapy

A number of injuries can be treated and cured through certain exercise and workout routines. These aim at stretching and strengthening the affected area to provide pain relief through increased flexibility and muscle activity.

4. Injections

Various substances and chemical compounds can be injected into the injured area which works on the affected ligaments, tendons, and cartilage to reduced inflammation and relieves pain.

5. Surgical procedures

If the injury is too severe and the pain too intense, the best option for treatment is surgery. This is generally resorted to in case of damage to the skeleton in the form of broken bones and cracked ribs.

Devising the exact treatment method requires a thorough examination of the injury. Diagnosis can only be provided after taking into consideration the many factors that affect treatment. The method of treatment varies from case to case and consequently, the recovery time also differs.

Hello Lybrate user according to ayurveda, Hypertension is referred to as Rakta Capa Vriddhi and it sees the vitiation of vata and pitta doshas as the main cause. Home Remedy- Mix 1 teaspoon of onion juice with an equal amount of honey. Take once a day for 1 week. Upon noticing improvement, continue for several more days. Treatment- 1-take sarpgandha vati twice a day. 2-yogendra ras. Akik bhasm works very good in case of hypertension. 3-Take pranacharya no tens capsule twice a day Diet-avoid salty diet. Oily food. To have dried soyabeen dal and grined it & make powder. To have 1 glass full cream milk and mix 1 teaspoon powder in it. You can use this in milk shake also. This is very helpful to gaining weight.

My grandfather fell down and injured his elbow. Later he used a hand towel to remove the blood from his elbow and knee. Without realising that, I used the same towel to eat food, placing roti directly on that area. The time between the two things is approximately one hour. My grandfather is otherwise healthy and fit. Am I at risk of any infection?

No need to worry. Just apply normal antiseptic medicine. Monitor it to make sure the injury is drying up gradually. It will be okay.

Hello, Vitamin B12 if taken through natural diet will be proved to be beneficial. Supplements usually do not give proper supply of this particular vitamin. Include low fat dairy products,soy and its products,shellfish,eggs,meat in your diet. If still insufficient,consider taking its shots.

Dear, I can empathize well with you. Ed (erectile dysfunction) is very common with long standing diabetes. Firstly control blood sugar very well. Improve your lifestyle. Good morning ~ I am sure you are having a problem with being lazy and not working out in the ruse of studies. You need to take regular breaks and not make eating a part of your breaks but working out or taking a walk at the very minimum. I am sure you will be able to lose weight and also do well in your exams since exercise has been shown to make memory concrete and recall more effective that way you will do well in your exams. Gaining weight is as difficult as losing it, if you are naturally thin. Skinny people complain that they can't put on any weight.If you want to build up weight, don't just eat high-calorie junk foods and rely on unnecessary supplements. Choose foods that are energy-dense and nutrient-dense whenever possible. Following are some tips to follow to increase your weight. You will take some time to gain the weight you need, but be patient. 1. If you have a rapid metabolism, then you must increase your daily intake of healthy foods (increase your intake of carbohydrates) to compensate for the rate at which you burn energy. Eat six smaller meals a day You should also eat more energy dense foods like healthy oils, dry fruits, seeds, nuts, pulses, etc. along with some starchy foods like potatoes, cereals, bread, pasta, rice, etc. 2. Consume more calories than you burn. Choose healthy calorie-dense food to add calories. Drink healthy beverages to add calories. Mangoes are rich in calories and carbohydrates, include them in your diet. 3. Eat healthy food frequently, 5-6 times a day - 3 larger meals and 3 smaller meals alternately. Separate them by at least 3 hours so you can digest each meal fully. Don't go without food for 5-6 hours after having a major meal. For example, if you wish to consume 3000 calories a day, you may eat 3 larger meals of about 650 calories and 3 smaller meals of about 450 calories. 4. Have a balanced diet. Exercise regularly for putting on weight. Some thin people think that exercise is not good for them. This is not true, it keeps the metabolism high. Remember that eating alone is not sufficient. You don't want to gain fat but lean mass, so exercise is important. Resistance training exercises will help to increase your muscle mass, which in turn will increase metabolism. Learn to distinguish between weight gaining exercises and weight loss exercises. Note that if you do not get enough amino acids during exercise, the existing muscle may break down. Amino acids come from protein foods so you should eat such foods after exercise. Keep in mind that excessive exercise without putting back the energy you have used will not help you to put on weight

The all test are normal like cbc,, sugar fasting & p.o, lipid profile, urine analysis, tsh, prolactin,& testerone .all the test in their normal range. No one less or more their range. Wt I have ed problem .there is no erection in daytime. When I masturbate then my penis not erect in the morning if erect then there is soft erection for less time. My penis is also shrink. I don't understand why it happen. I have no drink, no smoke, no use any drug or any other medicine. No over weight. Then why it happen.

Very strang to hear such words froma young boy like you.But dont worry,actually you lack stamina and will poweer to perform energy consuming exercises and for that a strong mind is required.To start with daily early morning start doing ALOM VILOM and BRAMARI PRANAYAM and after 15 days along with these pranayams start cycling daily evening 45 minutes and stay focused.
