Sleeping pills are not recommended for daily or habitual usage. First of all, limit the use of mobile phone, t. V and laptop at least 2 hours before sleep. After food at night, drink a cup of warm milk just before sleep. Take a shower before sleeping. After shower, do a head massage for 10-15 min. Then go to sleep do regular meditation daily. Involve yourself in physical exercise for 30 min at least every day. These steps are vital for a good sleep and peace of mind.

I have had these narcoleptic like sleep semi -comatose spells (nothing wakes me-lasting 2-8 hrs) during or soin after eating meals since 12/2011. Ive tried several different type food /diet changes, amts (nothing causes any change) .Ive heard it could involve stimulation of the vaso vagel nerve but have unable to find ANY INFO AT ALL ON THIS.

How to avoid daytime sleepiness A lot of people, irrespective of whether they go out to work, to college or stay at home, feel sleepy during the day. Some out of fatigue, some because of having a heavy lunch and some others because they do not get a good night? S sleep. Whatever be the reason, a few exercises and some discipline can help you get rid of such sleep cravings. Few ways to avoid daytime sleepiness are: 1. Set a routine: Try to go to sleep and wake up at about the same time every day. This resets your circadian rhythm and helps developing your sleeping pattern. 2. At least 30 minutes of workout is important for every individual. Go for walks, go to the gym, take up yoga or aerobics - regardless of the kind of exercise you are doing. When the body gets exercise, so does the brain and you are refreshed to take on the rest of the day. 3. Go to bed gadget free: Keep your books, mobile, tab, laptop and TV remote away from the bed. Stay calm and do not have heated conversations. Your nerves need calm down as you to sleep. 4. Get enough sleep: Ensure you sleep enough every night so that it doesn? T ruin your day. Night time sleep is important and adults need seven to nine hours of sleep. 5. Set consistent, healthy mealtimes: Regular mealtimes, eating a healthy breakfast and lunch on time prevents energy deficits during the day that will help you get rid of daytime sleepiness 6. Avoid alcohol: Having alcohol in high amount may hamper your regular sleeping pattern and you may be sleepy the whole day. 7.Avoid Self-Medication: Avoid taking sleeping pills or over the counter the drugs. There are different kinds of drugs available in the market. Some may make you sleepy the whole day due to hangover effect of the drug. 8. Consult a Physician or a sleep specialist.

Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day...take pranacharya vatari syrup and capsule twice a day...And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day...

Check your weight, are you overweight? do you have conditions like diabetes or hypertension? do you feel weak or sleepy during daytime? if answer to any is yes, then you may have to be checked for a condition known as obstructive sleep apnea. For that you need a test called polysimnography. Contact your local lung specialist for that. This condition is manageable.

May be muscle stiff ya week both reason possible nw define your self that if heat fermentation twice a day and muscle relaxant give you relief that is stiffness of muscle if no that is weakness of muscle then do strength exercise like treadmill quadriceps etc or more information you can consult.

Avoid protein diets,bad habits , fast food/fat/oily,salty foods. Coffee, smoking, alcohol intake. Non-veg., take whole grain,oats,green veg.,plenty of water in day time, 1 glass of water at night before bed. take tab. bencid 500 mg once a day.tab. zyloric 100 mg once a day. for pain tab. NAC-SR sos.

Tip- I will suggest you to take a shower with warm water or just wash your face, forearms, legs with soap and water at bedtime for a peaceful sleep.

Hello sir, I somewhere heard that according to research 4 hr sleep is enough for students and for all those who are below 35 years old, also there are many entrepreneurs and people around the world who are taking only 4-5 hr sleep and works day and night properly. So should I change my habit to 4 hr sleep time and make the most out of my day or should I take proper 7-8 hr sleep for proper working of my body throughout the day? These are only short term gains if you sleep only 4,5 hrs a day. One should have minimum 6 hr sleep per day (more than 6 hrs in child&old age). If you take less than this you will jeopardise your day initially, but if you continue taking less sleep your body will adapt slowly but only to be leading to early onset of old age symptoms. Also those who are taking 4 hr sleep are doing something else in extra (yoga meditation) to relax. It's better to stick to 6 hr sleep routine for daily habit (a few sleepless night will harm only temporarily so don't worry for them). Organise & utilise 16 hrs (2 hrs for morning chores & eating) of the day in best possible way. Be Smart Be organised. Good luck.

If pain is associated with stiffness, it could be frozen shoulder. Get your vitamin d, uric acid and blood sugar fasting and pp along with thyroid profile done fasting. Revert with reports.

Hello, I haven't been jogging for few months and 3 days before, I started jogging again but I felt lot of pain in my legs on side of the calf whenever I jog. I think the blood in my vein is being clotted. Should I go for vitamin E because this pain isn't helping me to jog and recently I have no any medical history. It's just that my big toe is dislocated and I gained a lot of weight recently.

You just need to release your calf and hamstrings muscles (check tennis ball release for calf and hamstrings muscles on you tube) and stretch them properly before you jog. Also use cold packs for your calves after jogging.
