I am suffering from bachache from last one day what I must do to resolve my problem.

Dip. SICOT (Belgium), MNAMS, DNB (Orthopedics), MBBS
Orthopedist, Delhi
Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Backache of 1 day duration can be due to just muscle strain. If you have localized back pain with - no neurological symptoms like numbness, paresthesia etc - no associated symptoms like fever, swelling etc, my advice is: - take rest for 3-5 days - avoid forward bending, lifting heavy weights etc - take an analgesic like diclofenac or something which suits your body for 5-7 days - take muscle relaxant for same time as analgesic to relieve muscle spasm - ice packs at the site of pain, muscle spasm - local analgesic spray can be used but no massage is required let me know in 2 weeks time how you are feeling and then we can suggest you some exercises for lower back muscle strengthening. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

I have pain in my back for over 30 days, what should I do?

BHMS
Homeopath,
I have pain in my back for over 30 days, what should I do?
Tips for backache: heavy objects should be pushed rather than pulled. The weight of the objects should be taken in your bent legs and arms and not in your back. During an acute attack sleep with a pillow under the knees. Choose shoes that offer good support in the arch and have low, but not flat, heels. Prop up one foot on a box or low stool when you're standing for a long time. Use a chair that provides support for your back, or tuck a little pillow behind your lower back. Tips to improve balance/alignment/motion: lift your leg so your thigh is parallel to the ground while touching a wall. Hold it for five breaths. For alignment, move side to side while sitting on a balance ball. For motion, try moving forward and backward on the ball. Homeopathy is one of the most important and effective therapy for back pain. Tell me the complaint in detail for treatment.
