Has your great toe turned ineards towards the other toes? If yes then you must be either developing Hallux Valvus giving rise to bunions. U need to modify your footwear in that case and wear a bunion splint for that. If not - then pls get an x-ray to figure out the type of injury. I can help you more if you post a picture of your great toe here. Thank you.

Hello doctor I am 20 years old, Most of the times my right hips pain very badly while sleeping and while riding scooty (since 8 months) I also did X-Ray and the report was normal. Is there any involvement of tumor or cancer. Doctor please help me out. I am very much worried.

Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation piriformis stretch 1. Lie on your back. 2. Cross your left leg over your right so that your left ankle rests on your right knee. 3. Use your hands to grab hold of your left knee and pull it gently toward the opposite shoulder. 4. Hold for 15 to 30 seconds. 5. Relax, and then repeat with the other leg. 6. Repeat this cycle 2 to 4 times.

Hello, work on reducing your wt. * go for a brisk walk in d morning for an hr. * go for meditation. * take, salad, fruits, sprouts in lunch with bread. *homoeo-medicicane** @ fucus vas q-10 drops, thrice a day with lukewarm water before each meal. @ calcarea carb 200-6 pills, thrice a day report, fortnightly.

I have a lower back pain for 4 years. I did an MRI it shows at the end of my spinal cord the thing like jelly between disk L2 has skipped out a little bit and its been damaged. Some time my left leg becomes little num and hard to sit walk or sleep. Wht is the best treatment for this sir except operation.

If you have low back pain and sciatica you can undergo intermittent pelvic traction where in your half of your body weight will be added in the electronic traction so that that would help you to reduce the pain, along with Interferential therapy stimulations which would help you to get relieved from the radiating pain. Apply ice for the pain to get subsided immediately. If you cannot go immediately for the physiotherapy treatment. Ice can be kept in the low back where you have back pain. It is suggestible to wear Lumbo sacral belt which would help you to build the abdominal muscle tone which itself would make you feel better. You can also wear MCR chappals which would help you to have less weight falling in the painful back.

Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Hello, need some more history here, like x-ray or mri any investigation s done. For now to strength en your bone you can go for abhyanga with ashwagandha balalakshadi taila daily once - take ashtiposhak tablets 2-0-2 after food for1month report back with investigations or consult. Thank-you.

This is due to calcaneal spur. Ask her to do contrast bath for 15 days. Method of contrast bath is - take two pots of water, one should be icy chilled and other should be warm (tolerable warm). Dip her heel in warm water for one minute and then in cold water for one minute. Repeat it for 5 times in a session i.e one minute warm. One minute cold. Again warm. Then again cold. For 5 times. Start from warm and finish at warm. Do it twice a day for 15 days.
