I've been coughing for almost 2 months but not developed any fever. Is it TB? In winters, the cough goes a bit high.

DNB(Respiratory Diseases), MBBS
Pulmonologist, Jabalpur
In last 2 months you have not seen winters. That means you have off and on cough problem from many years which increases during winters. This type of long cough is usually allergic in nature and some allergens present in air causes allergy. You must avoid cold air/drinks, dust, fumes exposure and may plan anti allergic treatment.

I am 22 years old and I have cough from last 1 month and it is a dry cough what should I do.

DAA, DNB
Pulmonologist, Bangalore
Hi. I understand your concerns. You will need to undergo a detailed examination and investigations like chest x ray to look for infection. As your cough is there for more than a month. If it's normal then you will need to undergo pulmonary function test which is needed for diagnosis and also to assess severity of bronchitis based on which treatemnt can be started. Consult a pulmonologist for the same. Hope your questions were answered. Thanks.
