Mine monthly period usually lasts for 4 days but this month it was only 3 days and quantity of bleeding also decreased, I have got my period 1 week delay also can anyone say me why it happened like that?

Your menses are absolutely normal. Menstrual bleeding lasting for 2-7 days is considered as normal. If your bleeding has reduced from 4 days to 3 days, it is not abnormal. Menses can get delayed by hormonal changes. You can wait for another month to get your spontaneous menses.

Hi Dr. every time wen I start work I get lots of sweat within 3 mins and I get totally wet for 10 15 mins if I stop working. If I walk then also I get sweat with in 5 mins. Nd wen I stand in sun den also I get sweat. water I'm dng I getting sweat. I dont understand why it happening to me. Excessive sweating could be due to 1. Anxiety, nervousness 2 obesity, diabetes, thyroid problem, 4. Investigate yourself to rule out these diseases 5. Avoid anxiety, nervousness, tea/coffee, spicy food, chocolate etc 6. Try some anti antiperspirant lotion or roll on. 7. Consult skin specialist for advice.

It may be irregular at times and delayed by a few days. However if it is delayed by more than 2 weeks of your expected date I would advice you to do a urine pregnancy test.

How to avoid sleep disturbance?
Ideal sleep duration is maximum six to seven hours a day.

The following tips help one to avoid sleep disturbance:

A) have bath regularly in evening after coming from work or before going to bed.
Early to bed and early to rise (awake) is a nice process for natural sleep cycle.

B) do not engage mind in active work or stressful talking at night before bed time.

C) do not engage mind in too much of computer work in night before bed time (for example, do not do stock market work in night).

D) do not read or view illicit or pornographic material at any time preferably.

E) do not take heavy meals in night. Best is to have heavy breakfast, lighter lunch and lightest dinner to maintain stomach rhythm which affects sleep. Vegetarian diet is best for good sleep.

F) do not over engage mind in television in night.

H) do not smoke cigarette, chew tobacco, tobacco containing masala, or similar intoxicants which can disturb rhythm of mind and disturb sleep cycle.

I) no tea or coffee in night (preferably cocoa and caffeine containing drinks should be totally avoided for best results).

J) listen to relaxing music and even then if you do not get sleep, then hear soothing stories or nice talks.

K) read books which not only calm the mind but also nourish the thinking process.

It is best not to depend on sleep medicines for sleep disturbance as in long run, they lead to dependency and increased disturbance.

Never rely on alcohol for sleep. Some people use alcohol to help them sleep, but that's not a good idea. At first, drinking alcohol may make you sleepy and help you fall asleep. But when you drink alcohol, you are more likely to wake up later in the night and have a hard time falling back asleep. This can leave you feeling tired the next day.

U have to improve your food habits do 1. Take 2/ 3 glass of warm water in the morning 2. Take more water in day 3. Take meals at fixed hrs 4. Take small amount of food at a time, take more frequent meals - may be five times a day. 5. No spicy/ fried/ fast/ junk/processed food. 6. No milk for few days, can take curd, no uncooked salad 7. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Hi. It's normal to lose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: take diet rich in protein like non-veg, eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin), different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regularly massage head and hair with coconut oil, almond oil (depending upon your scalp type) 1 to 3 times a week. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! medication: take homoeopathic medicines - schwabe's wiesbaden 200 & alfalfa tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Use schwabe's arnica shampoo and hair growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use bakson's arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash.

Kindly show me digital x rays of ls. Spine sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Hi lybrate-user, you went to gym, but you should not have left it. It takes time to reduce weight. If it does not work, you should change the type of work out. Brisk walking and cycling are very effective. Stretching work outs do not show result fast. If you worked very hard and still saw no result at all, get a thyroid test soon. About food, you should eat healthy and home-made food. No need to starve yourself, but make sure you reduce the intake of extra fats, oil, sugar and fiods high in calories.
