Sir mere papa KO high blood pressure hai, abhi unka blood pressure 156/100 hai. Pahle jab wo doctor KO dikhaye the, doctor ne unhe 'amlovas 5' medicine refer kiye the. 1 mahine 'amlovas 5' use karne ke baad blood pressure puri taraha se kam gaya tha, aur papa vi medicine khana chood diye the, phir jab BP nikla phir papa ne 'amlovas 2.5' uske baad 'amlovas 5' use kiye, abhi wo amlovas AT use kar rahe hain. Par BP kam nenhi raha hai. So sir please give your suggestions about 'what are the measure step he has to taken'

I have been suffering from constipation since over a month now. Would like to know if heart burns or pain in the chest or shoulder can occur because of it. My ECG is normal.
My age is 28 years. I have been getting treatment for hypertension for last 3.5 years. Initially I was on telmisartan 40 mg then some combinations were used by doctor later I started exercise and a year ago I used to feel fainted post which doctor reduced telma dosgae to 20 mg which I hv been using for more than a year now and BP was regular during this time. But recently my BP reading was 160/100 later doctor advised to check it frequently and it was near this reading only. I got my lipid profile done and result: cholesterol was 213, triglyceride 241, HDL 38, LDL 126.8, VLDL 48.2, total cholesterol/HDL 5.60 & Non HDL 175 this report also has huge difference in lipid levels as compared to previous one done 3 months ago/which was pretty normal. Now doc has advised to take CTD-T 6.25/40 along withatorvastatin10 mg. And I am doing exercise regularly. Would I be able to go back to lower dosage of this drug or whn can I expect to not to have this medicine as it's been a long time that I am not this treatment and also do these drugs have side effect on me. Also do I need to get some more tests done?
He had cholesterol and protien from so many years but even after taking medicine from long time, it can not be controlled. How it could be controlled.
I'm worried because several relatives in my family have had heart attacks. How can I tell if I'm at risk for heart disease?
Hello, I am 40 years old having hypertension and anxiety issue, taking Ciplar LA 40 and Amodep 5 once a day for the last 10 years and maintaining systolic pressure of 130 with these medicines. My doctor has recently changed my medication to Metosartan 50 twice a day because my systolic went to about 140. I feel Metosartan 50 twice a day is little higher, What is your opinion?

Stroke has a new indicator! read and pass on.
Stroke has a new indicator
Stroke - they now have a fourth indicator, the tongue
Stroke: remember the 1st three letters.

During a bbq, a woman stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics. She said she had just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes.
They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food. While she appeared a bit shaken up, jane went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening.
Jane's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6: 00 pm jane passed away.) she had suffered a stroke at the bbq. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps jane would be with us today. Some don't die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead.
It only takes a minute to read this.
A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke. Totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.
Recognizing a stroke
Thank god for the sense to remember the'3' steps, str. Read and learn!
Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three (3) simple questions:
S *ask the individual to smile.
T *ask the person to talk and speak a simple sentence (coherently)
(i. E. Chicken soup)
R *ask him or her to raise both arms.
If he or she has trouble with any one of these tasks, call emergency number immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.
New sign of a stroke -------- stick out your tongue!
Note: another'sign' of a stroke is this: ask the person to'stick' out his tongue. If the tongue is
'crooked, if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke.
A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.
I have done my part. Will you also?

A heart attack does not always have obvious symptoms, such as pain in your chest, shortness of breath and cold sweats. In fact, a heart attack can actually happen without a person knowing it. This condition is known as a ‘silent heart attack’, medically known as ‘silent ischemia’, occurring due to the shortage of oxygen supply to the heart muscle.
The causes of a silent heart attack are similar to that of a heart attack. They include-
Lack of exercise
Disorders such as diabetes
Age, usually above 65
Consumption of tobacco or smoking
A silent cardiac arrest makes one more vulnerable to another heart attack that could be fatal.
The only method to diagnose if you had a silent heart attack is through imaging tests, such as echocardiogram, electrocardiogram or others. These tests can show certain changes which might be indicative of a heart attack.
An analysis of one’s overall health and the symptoms can aid in deciding whether few more tests are required.
How would you prevent a silent heart attack?
Get your cholesterol and blood pressure count tested regularly.
Refrain from smoking.
