Your symptoms are most likely due to plantar fascitis which is inflammation of plantar fascia at sole of feet. The treatment mostly is conservative and lifestyle modifications to achieve maximum functionality with minimum pain. Follow these lifestyle changes religiously to get benefit. 1. Reduce body weight as obesity will aggravate the stress on heel. 2. Avoid exercises like running / walking on hard surfaces. Stop such activities when you start developing pain. 3. Roll your feet on bottle of cold water for 20 mins 4 times a day or can apply ice pack. 4. Use shoes with silicone sole inserts. 5. Do calf muscle and heel stretches daily. 6. Avoid prolonged standing or sitting. 7. Use night splint to keep foot flexed at night. Stop using it once pain is relieved. 8. Use analgesics like Ibuprofen for decreasing pain and inflammation. With proper lifestyle changes as above 90 % patients have relief and functionality. For any query consult again.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hello, is there any injury to your arm ?? Now you can take Arnica 30 CH , 3 drops once daily and Hypericum 1X , 5 tabs twice daily. Revert me after 7 days.

I can help you in medical treatment only. Kindly show me a photograph & digital x rays of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Tips for after injury

If you have sustained a soft tissue injury, we recommend you use the rice method – rest, ice, compression and elevation to aid your recovery:

  • Rest is a key component to the body’s healing process, without it the injured area could become inflamed, more painful, or you could risk further injury
  • Ice reduces inflammation and pain. To protect your skin we recommend that the ice be placed within a towel before wrapping around the injured area 
  • Compression helps reduce swelling and pain
  • Elevation also helps reduce swelling by reducing blood flow to the affected area.

Hello, uric acid are main cause of stone formation in kidney or gall bladder. Avoid high proteinous food like chana daal, mutton chicken, palak, paneer. Cholesterol can be controlled, avoid having ldl oil n have hdl oil. For stiffness, kindly go for exercise but not very hazardous one. Rotate your neck softly. Homoeopathic medicine are beneficial in it.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Tennis elbow or lateral epicondylitis is inflammatory pathology around the outer epicondyle of elbow, actually it is a degenerative tear in ecrb tendon. My advice for her is: - intensive ice packs - tennis elbow brace for sometime - take a short course anti-inflammatory medication which suits you. - physical therapy like ultrasonics and laser therapy if available. Let me know in 2 weeks time whether your symptoms are improving or not. Also try to avoid all activities which increase your pain. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Spleen swelling be blood disorder and you need to check up blood CBC and pbs and marrow test also may be needed . For sleep you can take a sleep pill for a week

dear hardik, for gastro problem ask you father to have a walk after every meal drinking more water will avoid gas problems. and for back pain apply heat fermentation twice a day for a week. if still feels pain then take ultrasonic therapy for back pain.

Take X-Ray of the wrist, if report normal. You take bryonia 0/2,10-20 small pills thrice daily for seven days. And report your status after taking the medicine.

Hi thanks for your query. I need to know the elaborate history from you so that I can understand cause of pain, duration of joint pains and any associated symptoms like stiffness which you have stated that you are having. There is a workup for polyarthralgia ( multiple joint pains ) which needs to be done if history and clinical examination point to it. At this age I would like you to get some tests like cbc, esr and crp levels done. Also ra factor, anti ccp needs to be done. I also need hla b27 levels, serum calcium, vitamin d levels done do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance or when you get reports of these blood tests. Most leg pain results from wear and tear, overuse, or injuries in joints or bones or in muscles, ligaments, tendons or other soft tissues. Leg pain can also be caused by blood clots, varicose veins or poor circulation. To relieve mild pain: stay off your leg as much as possible apply an ice pack or bag of frozen peas to the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes three times a day elevate your leg whenever you sit or lie down please go to a physiotherapist if: you have pain during or after walking you have swelling in both legs your pain gets worse your symptoms don't improve after a few days of home treatment you have painful varicose veins if you feel the pain is from muscle cramp then you need to drink a lot of water because poor fluid intake (dehydration) may predispose to cramps also low blood levels of either calcium or magnesium directly cause cramps.
