Cramps means difficiency of electrolytes. Have proper salt intake. Drink plenty of water. Go for hot fomentaion of your limbs take balanced diet. Add milk. Green veg. You can also take ors and if pain is excessive take tab tromanil -mr (twice a day) when required for instant relief.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. \nAvoid bending in front. \nPostural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana ? Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight (even while sitting or standing), avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). Always select a chair with proper back support and hand-rest. (Excessive sitting or standing is to be avoided as well don’t carry much weight on shoulders). Apart from these, stress could be the major cause of pains! Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. Management: -Sit straight with a back-rest or back-support. -Stretching or activities that place additional strain on the back are discouraged. -Sleeping with a pillow between the knees while lying on one side may increase comfort. -Lying on your back with a pillow under your knees would also relieves pain and no pillow under your head. -Some people seem to benefit from the use of ice or heat. Take care, do not use a heating pad on ‘high’ or place ice directly on the skin. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

Relax keep posture straight while sitting or working on computer/ no pillow while lying down. Apply voveran gel on neck. Do not move neck much for the time being good luck.

Avoidance to protein rich diet like egg pulses soya. Kaishore guggulu 2-2 tab chandraprabhavati 2-2 tab punarnavamandoor 2-2 tab to be taken aftermeal twice a day for 3 month hot n dry fomentation locally.

Spine block will block the transmission of sense along nerve. You will not feel pain. Not feeling pain does not mean that disc problem is cured. Pl avoid if u can tolerate the pain Pl send X-ray and other reports if you want to try Ayurvedic Medicine. Till then pl try to take Nycanthes (Harsingar) leaves decoction. Put one tsp turmeric pure to a glass of this decoction. Drink warm.

: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Hi, your issues/ symptoms as you describe point towards some mineral/ vitamin deficiency unless there is some other issue that requires to be clinically examined/ investigated. I would advise you to consult a general physician in person who can discuss with you and advise tests suitably to see if you are deficient in something, especially need to check your calcium & vitamin d levels. At the same time, ensure that you have balanced diet and a streamlined lifestyle. Exercise/ walk daily in fresh air for about 30 minutes and relax/ de-stress regularly. Exposure to early morning sun rays for 5 to 10 minutes daily helps replenish the vitamin d levels. In case you are a student still, set realistic goals and give your best while being focussed on your present. Its extremely important that you relax/ de-stress intermittently so that you stay engaged and do not get fatigued. It is advisable to avoid oily and fried stuff. Rather, consume more of fresh fruits & vegetables and stay hydrated. Drink 8 - 10 glasses of water daily. Cheese, yogurt, fish, fortified orange juice, soybeans, whole grain cereals, leafy greens are a few food items that you can include in your menu. Hope this helps. Dear lybrate user possible reason is over weight, increase uric acid, trauma injury to heel uncomfortable shoes stiffness in calf muscles etc so do stretching exercise of calf muscles foot up and straight your leg repeat 10 times, hot and cold water application wear comfortable shoes.

Hi, I am 39yrs and have spine pain from top shoulder to lower pain. Got severe lower back pain and taken Physiotherapy as UV and small electric waves for a week and after that I doing back exercise daily and it comforts me. But back pains in morning is a routine. Kindly suggest.

It needs to be investigated. Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Hello lybrate user, can be calcaneal spur / heel spur it is overgrowth of the bone or plantar fascitis use soft sole footwear use silicone soles with socks hot water fomentation twice daily god bless you.

You are too young. These symptoms should not be ignored. Stiffness in back & other joints is quite a common condition. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

I am a diabetes patient and my sugar level is 140 before meal and 170 after meal and I also have high knee pain since 10 years. I have consulted a doctor about this along with diabetes. He gave me these medicines named. Except for Bigomet SR all other medicines are for your knee joint pain. Bigomet is for your diabetes. With this medicines your sugar are little bit on higher side. So you should consult your doctor to increase dosage of your diabetes medications.
