Dear lybrate-user, check for your posture. Backache is aggravated with unsupported sitting for long hours, lifting a heavy backpack. Sit with a proper back support. Avoid bending forward and lifting heavy weights. Start taking hot water bag for relieving spasm and stiffness in the back muscles.

Hello, Medication like methylcobalamine with muscle relaxant and analgesic will reduce pain; you can take them . I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level. Hope this answers your query. Provide some rest to the shoulder. If it has started today or a day before, apply ice and provide rest for few days. If it is chronic, please do hot water fomentation and restrain from workout and visit a physiotherapist nearby to get the physiotherapy treatment done. Most likely, it will be because of some soft tissue injury and will settle after physiotherapy treatment.

Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Try these range-of-motion exercises to keep hands, fingers flexible and to ease pain in the fingers and in the hands overall: Close your fist and then gradually open your hand, stretching your fingers out, then close slowly into a fist again. Make circle motions with your thumb, keeping it straight. Stretch your thumb away from the palm of your hand, then use it to touch each fingertip. Repeat these exercises 3 to 10 times daily. Stop if you feel pain in a joint or if you're experiencing additional pain (lasting more than two hours) once you’re done. Some people find that doing these hand exercises under warm water is helpful. It is important to keep both your hands and body active. If you have doubts about how to do this safely, talk to a Physiotherapist.

Hi for initial treatment of a pcl injury, 1) protecting the knee from further injury 2) resting the knee 3) icing the knee for short periods with cold packs 4) compressing the knee gently, such as with an elastic bandage 5) elevating the knee for detail treatment plan visit physiotherapist or orthopaedic doctor. 1) Do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min., afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) Start natural calcium supplement. 3) Do regular stretching exercise 4) In yoga DO BHUJANGASAN, HALASAN & SURYANAMASKAR. LIFE-STYLE CORRECTION 1) Correct your sitting posture. 2) Take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) Foot should rest to floor easily. 4) Take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) Do neck & upper back extension, give feedback after 4 days.

My friend, when he was a child met with an accident with a sharp object in his eye. He lost his eye sight due to that and now he has only a partial eye sight to that eye (can detect only shapes which are close and that too with blur). His eye pupil lost it's normal exact circular shape. He can see with his other eye and due to this, he got squint too. Now he wants to get back his vision to his eye. Question: 1. Is it possible to get back the vision back completely? 2. What is the problem and it's name which caused this condition to him? 3. Such kind of treatment or what should be done to get back his eye sight completely. Note: Somebody told him, there may be optical nerve damage. Is it true? If yes, then what should be done to get back his eye sight completely?

Hello. Sorry about your friend's eye problem. Coming to your first question: unfortunately, it would not be possible to get back complete vision in the damaged eye. Vision lost during childhood is difficult to recover after so many years. The initial years of life are the ones that determine the growth and development of the eye. During this period the eye learns to see. Once the vision is compromised during childhood, there is very less chance of recovering it at such a late stage. Coming to your second query, the name of the condition would be amblyopia (post traumatic) or lazy eye. Also, there may be associated wound related scars and structural defects in the eye. There may be damage to the retina, lens or the cornea of the eye. As you mentioned, damage to the optic nerve may have caused optic atrophy in the eye. Regarding to your third question, it might be possible to treat him for the squint. The misalignment of the eyes could be rectified by surgery but it would not recover vision for him. Once again, sorry for your friend. Take care.

High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation,yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress,take plenty of water in day time. And 1 glass of water before bed at night. use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. Garlic,. Cod liver oil. Take anti cholesterol medicines . Cap. Ecosprin gold-10 at night daily.
