Thanks for contacting us, I sincerely feel that you do not require any hair transplantation. We suggest medicines and prp treatment. Both are useful. They are useful mainly to prevent hair loss & regrowth also, when there is thinning of hair. Prp is only one hour procedure, there are no side effects, you will require 3-4 sittings for proper result.

I have this persistent pimple problem for last 2 years. I have tried various skin doctors. While the treatment is on the skin is fine. But as soon as I finish the medication, pimples come back. My face color has become black due to the patches. What should I do?

BHMS

Hi. There are four main factors which causes acne: Oil production Dead skin cells Clogged pores Bacteria Factors that may worsen the acne: Androgen hormones, certain medications (drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium can worsen acne), dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods ? such as bread, bagels and chips ? may trigger acne and Stress can make acne worse. Management: Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater ? apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines ? Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day ? for 20 days.

I am having a hairfall problem since a year. I tried getting bald but it didn't help. I also used many shampoos but was of no use. Please suggest some measures. Thanks.

Trichologist
Dermatologist, Mumbai
Baldness is of different types. Reversible and irreversible. Reversible where roots are alive and regrowth is possible. Irreversible where hair roots are dead and regrowth is not possible. Scalp check helps to understand the condition of hair follicle. Shampoo has the function of cleaning and oil helps to condition the scalp. It is very important to do all this. Diet rich in protein and iron helps to support the hair. Drink 3 lit of water/day. Consult trichologist for treatment.

Hello I have lot pimples on my face long back. Now there are no pimples now on my face. The problem is it left red marks on my face. How to remove red marks on face. Please suggest me. Can I use organ badham on face?

Egg white works well in order to lighten the pimple marks and the pimple scars. Take a fresh egg and break the egg, separate the egg white from the egg yolk. Apply this egg white on the pimple marks. After 10-15 minutes, wash with the cold water. Baking Soda Take some baking soda. Mix some water with the baking soda and apply this mixture on the pimple marks. Baking soda serves as an agent that carries out micro dermabrasion on the skin and helps to clear the pimple marks on the face and body. Tomatoes Tomatoes are rich in Vitamin A, which helps nourish the dead skin while rejuvenating it. Vitamin A helps by healing the skin and by helping facilitate quick growth of the skin while removing the scars. Using tomatoes to help heal the scars on the skin is not a lengthy process, but it is rather simple. Just take a tomato, slice it and make it into a pulp. Apply the pulp on the face and leave it on for twenty minutes’ time. Then, wash it off with some warm water. You could also mix cucumbers with it. Make a paste out of all of cucumbers and tomatoes and apply as a face mask. Leave it on for half an hour and wash it with some cool water. Follow this method two days at a time every week and observe the results.

All About Bowen's Disease

MD - Dermatology, MBBS
Dermatologist, Delhi
All About Bowen's Disease

Bowen's disease is a skin disorder; the main symptom of which is the formation of a pink or a red surface on the skin which may result in small erosion. The patches usually grow very slow but if left untreated, can lead to a more serious threat of skin cancer. The seriousness of Bowen's disease increases if it is not diagnosed or treated at the correct time. This skin cancer is known as 'squamous cell skin cancer'.

Symptoms of Bowen's disease:

  1. There will be several patches on the skin with distinctly clear edges and showing no sign of healing.
  2. The patches are may be red or pink, raised or flat over the skin where it forms.
  3. It may spread rapidly over a small localized area
  4. It can be itchy (in some cases).

The patches are predominantly found on areas such as the head, neck and in the lower legs. Once they start to develop, you should immediately consult a skin specialist who may take a sample of the skin for diagnosis.

Causes of Bowen's disease:

  1. Bowen's disease is caused due to long exposure to the harmful UV rays of the sun. Usage of tanning/sun beds may prove to be problematic.
  2. Weak immunity system can cause Bowen's disease and can hamper the entire diagnostic process.
  3. Previous history of Radiotherapy treatment.
  4. HPV virus that can affect the genitals.

It must be noted that Bowen's disease is not hereditary in nature.

Treatment of Bowen's disease:

  1. Cryotherapy: Liquid nitrogen is used to treat the part of the skin which is affected.
  2. Surgery: The abnormal skin is operated under the effect of local anesthesia.

Post-treatment follow-up is very important for the entire treatment process to yield results.

I am 20 years old I suffering from hair loss and pimples on my face what should I do?

Diploma in homeopathy, B. Sc
Homeopath, Gurgaon
Your diet must include a glass of juice (any juice), fresh fruits and a full serving of salads at every meal: cucumber, tomato, carrot, beetroot, radish, onion slices or spring onion, raw cauliflower, cabbage leaf, sprouted seeds etc. All this is essential to give you a balanced nutrient boost. Cut out any junk food and aerated drinks totally. Generally foods that come out of a packet, or can, or bottle should be avoided. Exercise to increase circulation:- 2 mins of hard exercise then 1 min rest - do this four times a day. You can either do it all in one go or split it into sessions through the day. In total it is only 12 mins a day so should not be a big issue. A very useful exercise is to jump in one place simulating skipping. Build up your time to 2 mins. Of jumping. The benefits of this is ungaugeable, and cannot be explained medically as yet, it effects the entire body. In conclusion, live and eat healthy and you will develop energy, a glowing skin and a healthy'go' in life -regardless of age.

I am becoming black day by day. What are the method to become white and any treatment are there?

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Believe me, if you are happy from inside and taking nutritious, healthy food and daily yoga or some kind of exercises, it will be automatically reflected on your face. Apart from these, you do follow CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally sunscreen with SPF-30) after washing your face daily; use the products as per your skin type. This will change the skin texture and skin tone. In case you do have tanning, apply honey with a dash of lime on your face. You can also use homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Whitch Hazel daily at night. If the dull skin tone is due to any underlying ailment or diseases, need to look into the matter!
