Requires examination and investigation in detail. Presently investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d xray of the affected part. Anyway you may try sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform

Hello, u, suffer from cervical spondylosis due to continuous sitting on computer. * take a breck for 20 mnts, frequently and move your neck clock wise and anti clock wise and go to the table of your colleague. * go, for physiotherapy for cervical spondylosis. Take plenty of water to moisten your neck muscle and to eliminate toxins. * sit, for meditation to release your stress and stiffness of neck-muscle. * avoid, bending your neck, down & junk food. Homoeo-meicine (size pill 40)** @ lachanethes 200-6 pills, thrice a day. @ arnica mont 200-6 pills, thrice a day. Report, your progress, wkly take care.

Back pain that is associated with day time sedentary jobs like computer professional s are associated with paraspinal muscle spasms. The best way to tackle this sort of pain is to do well spaced stretching exercises of the back, back extension exercises, using hot water bags to provide relief and avoiding stooping posture while sitting. Posture also plays a very important part in back pain, always maintain a straight posture while sitting. While getting up from the bed try to first go on your left or right side of the body and get up side ways. Avoid cruntches or sit-ups: they may increase the pressure on your back and may predispose to slip disc. Always maintain a healthy lifestyle in terms of regular brisk walking, meditation, eating healthy. P. S: try to avoid pain killers (analgesics) as much as possible as many are associated with side effects that you may not be aware of. Stay healthy. Stay happy god bless you.

Hi, I am 31 years woman, weighing 93 Kgs. Suffering with Plantar fasciitis. Recently I have joined Bokwa classes which is similar to Zumba exercise program. But it involves lot of jumping. I am suffering more pain after the workout in my foot. Though I am wearing proper supporting shoes during the workouts. Pls suggest if it is dangerous to do this kind of fitness exercise with Plantar fasciitis or not and alternative way to loose weight.

Hi lybrate-user, any exercise which makes you jump will not allow your planter fasciitis for sure. You need to take break for couple of months from bokwa. Most people have hormonal issue underlying their weight problem and simply doing exercise for 45-60 min per day is not very effective for weight loss. Deciding a diet plan as per your metabolic profile is most effective tool for sustainable weight loss without struggling with hunger or low energy. Avoid all junk food and all sweet food. Low fat diet does not work for majority of people. Eat wholesome nutritious food full of fibers, good quality fat like ghee and coconut etc. Don't focus on calories but on nutritional density and diversity. Simultaneously working on exercise and diet will surely help. Best rate to lose weight is 1/2 kg per week. If that happens, it is least likely to go high again in future. You do not have to do rigorous exercise to lose weight but start with something small. Let us say 8 minute workout. Pick one which you like and can do. Trying to lose weight in very short time will need some form of crash diet. Even if you lose weight doing this kind of crash diet, you will get it all back within no time and all the gain will be mainly fat. Not good for your health. Be gentle and patient with yourself. Demonstrate commitment in your persistent efforts. Make comprehensive change in diet, exercise (low impact, high intesity), sleep and stress in your routine. This is called lifestyle medicine. If you can not do it on your own, find some lifestyle medicine expert who can help you in this over extended period of time. We even do this long distance over phone and internet. Best wishes to you.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Reduce weight, if you are overweight. Daily massage the heels with warm til taila followed by hot fomentation with a hot water bag. Use silicon heels in shoes. All the best.

There is been content hip joints pain in both leg knee some time it make to stand very uncomfortable for few minutes, I am now 74 years, having diabetes for the last 20 years, and during nights, I am not able to sleep very comfortably I am under insulin, and take medicines, regularly, what type of medicine I should use for this discomforts, kindly suggest I am from secunderabad presently telangana state.

Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

You can give her homoeopathic medicine bryonia alba 30-5 pills 3-4 times daily for 2 weeks. Avoid sitting in squatting position. Avoid Indian style toilets, use western toilets. Report back after 2 weeks with feedback so that we can suggest accordingly.

Renal stones have multiple reasons. Most common one is low water intake. But ideally that's only a minor cause and is not the real reason behind stone formation. Stone formation happens due to disturbed mineral metabolism in the body and hence they start accumulating and forming into a stone. So we are advised to reduce coconut water and seed variety vegetables and so on. But the problem is not with the foods but with the body. Usual treatment and management of stones is towards removing the stone by either surgical procedure or medicines that will reduce the size, but to prevent we are advised to reduce or stop foods that contain calcium etc. But what you need is medicine that can correct your body's metabolism so that it doesn't allow calcium to accumulate.
