This is a mystery. I am a 20 year old male experiencing constant, non stop pain in both of my hands. If I do anything intensive with my hands then afterwards I will feel more pain, but in the moment the pain does not really increase. The only thing that makes it immediately worse would be raising my hands above my head. This is in both of my hands, I had an mri in my neck which showed nothing. I've also had xray in both of my hands which also showing nothing, and when doctors have tested by having me push against them or them push against me they have found no weakness or muscle decay. The pain is in many parts of the hand, especially in the fingers and abductor digiti minimi. I will also sometimes feel pain on the posterior side of my forearm, starting at the elbow and more or less going to my hand. The pain is never tingly pain. I have had this pain for about 9 months now. I have stopped all intensive use of my hands for the last 5 months, things have gotten only a little better. I had a cortisone shot in one hand a few months ago, and that made most of it better, but it faded within a month. What could this be? Is it tendonitis (tennis elbow)? That seems a bit strange to me because tendonitis usually fades more quickly than I've been experiencing (especially because I'm so young)

Pain & swelling of joints & muscles rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Physiotherapy usually helps any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. It may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi I can understand your problem 1) avoid activities that make your symptoms worse 2) apply ice packs 3) start physiotherapy treatment as electrotherapy will reduce pain inflammation 4) exercise and mannual therapy will help in painfree movement. In next consultation describe your problem in detail and do share related reports and prescription if you have. Best wishes.
