I would suggest you to take any kind of medicines. For some people social anxiety is pretty pervasive. The most common example is anxiety over public speaking. Making small talk, eating in front of others and using public restrooms also can trigger worry and unease for some. 1. Try a self-help manual. Self-help manuals are designed to supplement therapy, but they’re also good tools for working on your own. 2. Work with a therapist. If social anxiety is stopping you from doing things you want or need to do, or you haven’t had much success with self-help, seek professional help. Find a therapist who specializes in anxiety disorders. You can start your search here. 3. Practice deep breathing every day. It’s helpful to engage in deep breathing before an anxiety-provoking social situation, But practice this technique every day. This way it becomes second nature, and you don’t hyper focus on deep breathing and miss an entire conversation. 5. Create objective goals. People tend to disqualify the positive when they feel anxious, That’s why therapists encourage clients to create objective behavioral goals, he said. These are behaviors that anyone in the room would be able to observe. It doesn’t matter how you feel or whether you’re blushing or sweating (which you can’t control anyway) in a social situation. For instance, if you’re working in a group setting, the objective behavior would be to make three comments. This also gives you a good barometer for judging your progress. Again, you’re not focusing on whether you felt nervous. Rather, you’re focusing on whether you performed the actual behavior. Also, avoid focusing on others’ reactions. It doesn’t matter how your colleagues received your idea in the meeting. What matters is that you actually spoke up. It doesn’t matter whether a girl or guy said yes to your dinner invite. What matters is that you actually asked. It doesn’t matter how your child’s teacher reacted when you declined to volunteer for yet another school trip. What matters is that you were assertive and respected your own needs. 6. Keep a rational outlook. Dispute both bleak thoughts that undermine your performance and fuel your anxiety, and equally unrealistic thoughts that are irrationally positive. If you’re asking someone out, it’s not rational to think, “They’re definitely going to say yes.” But it is rational to consider, “They might,”. If social anxiety is sabotaging your goals and stopping you from living the life you want, seek help and try the above strategies. Social anxiety is highly treatable, You can get better, and grow in the process. All the very best.

Let your mind relax. Think about someone you feel comfortable talking with. Start talking softly. Visualize thoughts and words to stop stammering. Slow down your speed of speaking. Do relaxation and breathing exercises. Consult speech pathologist.

One of the main reasons for difficulty to pronounce is fear and anxiety. Reduce your speed of speech for now, thus the pronouncing difficulty would decrease and fluency of your speech would become better. When fluency of speech reaches normal, then you gradually increase speed of speech, thus the overall speech can become as original. Because stress and anxiety increases difficulty of speech, you should also do transcendental meditation. How meditation affects health? it has been scientifically proved that meditation not only helps the mind but also body because controlled mind and purification of consciousness leads to better lifestyle and improved habits of food, sleep etc which in turn leads to better overall health. Most diseases have their roots in uncontrolled mind and impure consciousness. So do transcendental meditation by finding and reading iskcon books, either from internet and/or from your nearest iskcon center. Hope this helps,

There is some fear that comes up that is crippling you to kind of loose your voice. Can you identify what that fear is all about? how has your relationship with her been for all of these years? why is she in london? if you have been too close to her and have not broken out of that closeness in a healthy manner, you are likely to have feelings in that separation: it is called separation anxiety. I recommend that you meet with a female counselor and deal with the feelings that are disturbing you. I see this as a purely emotional disturbance and it can be sorted out quite reasonably. If your mom has been a strict person and has curbed any intimacy, there can be this type of reaction too. It can get further complicated if your father has any kind of role to play in all this too. Please explore all of these possibilities with the counselor and regain your confidence in talking to mom: she is after all your own mom and there should be no inhibitions in that relationship ever. She is and was your primary caretaker and that relationship should always be easy and smooth.

Stammering can be made lesser only and only by speech therapy. So you should take the help of a speech therapist. Also, i'd suggest you to visit a psychologist as confidence plays a great role in dealing with this problem. I'd suggest you to speak very slowly, word by word. By hardening your voice you are doing vocal abuse. Harsh and hoarse voice happens because of vocal abuse. Consult ent specialist first he will guide you according whether you need to go for voice therapy or not. Take care.

You are right. Normally we don't stammer when we sing or say a poem or even if we act like some one or imitate some body. As you are conscious about how or the way you speak not what you are speaking. Go to a experienced speech therapist.

at two an half months means around 10 weeks, it is safe to undergo MTP (medical termination of pregnancy), under the guidance of an experienced OG cian, done in an approved centre. Medical abortion can many a times lead to serious blood loss and loss of life is a common risk, so better go for surgical intervention.

My son is not talkative only few words he says we went to doctor (pediatric) he just gave Mentat syrup by Himalaya. We heard so many cases around us similar to Vedant there doctor gave that some tonic and they start talking now suggest me is Mentat is okay. His class teacher told me that now he is trying to sing rhymes vd his friends.

You didn't mention your son's age. If your son's speech milestones are not age appropriate you should consult a speech pathologist/ therapist. Children learn speech fast in their peer group. Keep a check on your son if he is learning fast then fine otherwise don't delay much.

Stammering is not a disease. It occurs due to lack of confidence and fear. Whenever you talk to someone forget that you have this problem and be fluent. Even while talking if you feel like stammering ignore it and continue talking. Whenever you are stuck in between just pause for a while or cough and later continue. By doing this no one can notice. Try this and let me know. The best thing is to practice talking in front of the mirror.
