1. Placenta praevia
2. Placental abruption - most common pathological cause

Nothing much. It should be gradual withdrawal for child and mother. Child should be made to ear|drink thin soup. Gradual withdrawal will not bring breast discomfort.

Hi lybrate-user. Limb and feet pain is normal during pregnancy. I would not recommend you to take painkillers for them. Instead use simple home remedies like soaking your feet in warm water with salt, oil massage of your limbs and elevating your feet whiles it ting. These measures are usually helpful to most pregnant women.

Bleeding after sex? It doesn't happen all the time after sex. Just sometimes. Could it be an std? (I've just finished my period) & I'm on birth control. I've read that oral contraceptives make the cervix sensitive? Is there anyway this could just be something more simple?

Dear Vimals. Do not take any medicine without the approval of your gynecologist. After the egg is fertilized by a sperm and then implanted in the lining of the uterus, it develops into the placenta and embryo, and later into a fetus. Pregnancy usually lasts 40 weeks, beginning from the first day of the woman's last menstrual period, and is divided into three trimesters, each lasting three months. Take care

The pain experienced during periods are known as dysmenorrhoea, which is a normal physiological symptoms. If it is very severe then painkillers can be taken once in a while but regular use of painkillers is not medically safe. In ayurveda there is panchakarma (basti) treatment is available with which you will get relief. *by the time you can start taking dashmoolarishta 2-2 with equal quantity of warm water and cap eposoft 1-1 both for 3 months.

Hi abortion is legal till 20 weeks (5 months) if there is an indication. However risk to mother is more after 3 months. Chances of complications (like abortion and preterm labour) in subsequent pregnancies. Consider keeping the baby. U can consult me online for further queries.

Endometrial thickness is normal. So if ovulation is occurring on time and tubes are normal, she should conceive.
