Do regular exercise, daily massage your body with oil, take proper diet, milk,cows ghee in regularly, fresh fruits, dry fruits, green vegetables, protein rich food, proper sleep, avoid late night work, overexertion,excessive tea, coffee,cold drinks, chilled water, foods kept in fridge, fast food, bakery foods.

1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Do light physical activity, meditation and yoga. 7. Take one good multivitamin tablet after food for 7 days.

To gain weight you can do muscle building exercise. Eat extra food more frequently. Do not skip meals. Avoid fast foods as far as possible. No water just before or during meals. Take dense fruits, vegetables. Take refined foods with unrefined food. Eat meat fish, milk, dairy products. Add healthy oil in cooking. Take extra nuts, seeds as snacks. Stay stress free and take quality sleep.

1. Take one tablet of crocin advance as and when required upto a maximum of three tablets daily after food 2. Cold sponging sos 3. Drink plenty of water 4. Take rest 5. If no relief do blood examination like esr, cbc, widal/ typhidot test, blood for mp/malaria antigen, urine re/me, x ray chest after consulting physician and follow the advice and treatment.

Hi, although you have gained weight, but as per your age and height, your weight is in normal range. So, there is no need to get tensed and leave thinking about losing weight further.

Hi, The pain in the Knee can be because of the way you sit and stand. I would suggest try to put your body weight on both your knees equally and try icing to the pain area as and when required.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you’re not used to eating large quantities of food at one time, you may find it difficult to fit all of your calories into three meals per day. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every few hours will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs, mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Fruit juice, masala milk provides crucial nutrients. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help.

I am a registered dietitian and a doctor who will help you in managing your weight. You need to provide me your daily food intake details. There are many lifestyle and dietary guidelines that can be followed: take high protein prescribed diet, have paneer, eggs and potatoe daily. Incorporate dry fruits in your diet on a daily basis. Eat a balanced diet as prescribed by a registered dietitian, I being a registered dietitian and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problem. I will also prescribe medicines that will speed up the time to achieve your weight management goals. Gradual weight management is always advisable. An increase in 500 kcal per day can result in increasing the body weight by 0.5 kgs per week. Objective should be to restore a desirable weight/ ideal body weight according to one's age, gender and height. To rebuild body tissues, to maintain a good nutritional status and to maintain ideal body weight. I will need to carry out detailed assessment in your case, after assessing your personal challenges to weight management, I will recommend a strategy to gradually change habits and attitudes that have sabotaged your past efforts. Dear lybrateuser, -It is better to have a variety of food items from different food groups as it will provide the body with a larger number of different nutrients as a single food item doesnot contain all the nutrients, so have oats preferably at breakfast & have other foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans ,legumes, non-veg in lunch & dinner to cover up the daily requirement of all the nutrients by the body -variety is the mantra to keep one fit & healthy with regard to our daily diet.

Do regular exercise like weight lifting exercise and other muscle building exercise as it will help to gain weight. And do a medical check up. Eat more foods more frequently. Use bigger plate. Use 300-400 ml of whole bream milk. Eat banana, chikoo, grape, mango and other dense fruits and dense vegetables. Take more unrefined foods. Take protein like fish, egg, lean meat, tofu, cottage cheese, yogurt, mushroom. Add extra healthy fat in diet. Use weight gainer supplement. Eat nuts and seeds. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Drink lots of water but not just before and during meals. Sleep for 7-8 hours and lead a stress free life.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

You can feel weak due to lack of essential nutrients, not getting enough sleep, a weak immune system, excessive drinking, skipping meals, emotional stress, and too much physical labor. Whenever you feel weak, eat one or two bananas. You can also try a banana shake or smoothie. To help strengthen your body and keep from feeling weak, eat a ripe banana with one tablespoon of honey twice daily.
