Hi, Fever severity, duration and any associated symptoms are the main factors to consider. Better always maintain a temperature chart with you whenever your child gets fever. Use any digital thermometer to record the body temperature which is easily available everywhere. During fever spikes, record the temperature for every 4 hrs. If you child's temperature measured in armpit shows 99 deg F or more, then consult nearby child specialist.

8 teeth are normal at this age. Decay can occur due to bottle feeding. If so you must stop it. Show to a pedodontist for early intervention.

Pleas make sure she uses the patch for the number of hours required. It is only at this age that amblyopia can be treated. Once she reaches teens , it will be almost impossible to do anything about it. You can make it seem like a game if she does not use the patch. All the family members can also wear a patch, so that she feels it is like a game.

DPT /Hib /HepB /IPV..(some include rotateq first dose) Routinely given, you can give PCV in addition to the former. All these are to be given every month for three months. Optional is a misguided word. What it really means is, give it, if you can afford. All recommended vaccines are beneficial and are desirable but for affordability. (I use Rotarix at 10 & 14 wks instead of rotateq 6-10-14 wks. Both schedules are equally good)
