Tk rest heat fermentation twice a day and avoid toward bending, long sitting do spine extension exercise if it work then ok otherwise tk physiotherapy treatment.

Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5 days, inform Kindly consult a urologist as well.

joint pain during viral fever is common. however if there is swelling and severe pain in the joint then you need to consult an ortho surgeon to rule out infection in the joint. also make sure your serum uric acid is normal too.

Sometimes I have a very serious pain in my leg something like cramp Not regularly but no of times I have.
Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Hi as far as I can understand, you had a fracture in your hand as a child. If you are still experiencing pain in your hand, you should consult a hand specialist. A plastic or orthopedic surgeon can help diagnose your problem and help you get better.

Do take ift and laser therapy for pain relief 10 days followed by strengthening exercise from neuro physiotherapist avoid bending forward do core muscle strengthening exercise do use firm hard and even mattress for sleep best wishes.

Sir, My age is 43, male, weight 107 kg, height 170 cms. I am suffering from severe pain in calf muscles of both legs with osteoarthritis of knees. I am getting medicines diacerein 50 mg (two capsules daily), calcirol sachet (once in a week, nurokind-G (at bed time), tablet shelcal (one in a day). It is further submitted that I am also patient of high bp and hypothyroidism and taking Telma 40 in the morning and amlong in the night for high bp. Thyronorm 75 mcg for hypothyroidism. My doctor said that my knees grease has been over and cartridge of knees have been worn. He suggested to take lubricant/grease injection for my knees problem. Please suggest me the right treatment for my knees and calf muscles problem.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user, Apart from taking medicines do proper exercises for your knees. Exercises like strenght training of your quadriceps especially VMO, stretching for hamstring, calf,TFl, proprioceptive training, apply ice 3 times a day if it is swelled too much, you can also apply hinged knee brace if you feel pain during walking in your knees. Consult a good qualified Physiotherapist for proper care further.

Try sleeping in the flat floor instead of bed and change your bike seat very soft and spongy if constipation is available have lot of water and make your bowels habits good. Don't do any exercise unless you do not have any pain, if it aggravate by doing exercise then consult a near by ortho specialist.

Shoulder pain can be a result of injury or disease of the shoulder joint. Injury can affect any of the ligaments, bursae, or tendons surrounding the shoulder joint. Injury can also affect the ligaments, cartilage, menisci and bones of the joint. Some minor shoulder pain can be treated at home. Icing the shoulder for 15 to 20 minutes, three or four times a day for two to three days can help reduce pain. Use an ice bag or wrap ice in a towel (putting ice directly on your skin can cause frostbite). Rest the shoulder and avoid any movements that might cause pain. Simple shoulder exercises can help to stretch and strengthen muscles and rotator cuff tendons. A physiotherapist can show you how to do them properly. Please consult a physiotherapist for detail assessment and management of your condition. Bet wishes.

I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any radiating leg pain especially if it increases on walking or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias (electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. Please also tell me about any associated symptoms like fever, weight loss etc. What medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight (even while sitting or standing), avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). Always select a chair with proper back support and hand-rest. (Excessive sitting or standing is to be avoided as well don’t carry much weight on shoulders). Apart from these, stress could be the major cause of pains! Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. Management: -Sit straight with a back-rest or back-support. -Stretching or activities that place additional strain on the back are discouraged. -Sleeping with a pillow between the knees while lying on one side may increase comfort. -Lying on your back with a pillow under your knees would also relieves pain and no pillow under your head. -Some people seem to benefit from the use of ice or heat. Take care, do not use a heating pad on ‘high’ or place ice directly on the skin. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

Firstly relax your calf muscle tk muscle relaxant medicine and heat fermentation and do calf stretching exercise. It it work then ok other wise tk physiotherapy tens and hot pack for 7 days after relief start strength exercise of legs best for you.

Hi I can understand your problem 1) avoid activities that make your symptoms worse 2) apply ice packs 3) start physiotherapy treatment as electrotherapy will reduce pain inflammation 4) exercise and mannual therapy will help in painfree movement.

1. Take bland diet, avoid oily, spicy, fried and junk food, 2. Drink plenty of water 3. Take one tablet of meftal spas ds as and when required after food up to a maximum of three tablets daily 4. Take one tablet of rantac150 mg twice daily before food 5. If no relief, consult doctor.
