Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Hi, In your case, the kidney stones can be treated well with homoeopathy! You may reduce your risk of kidney stones if you: Drink water throughout the day. For people with a history of kidney stones, drink 12-14 glasses of water everyday. If you live in a hot, dry climate or you exercise frequently, you may need to drink even more water to produce enough urine. If your urine is light and clear, you're likely drinking enough water. Eat fewer oxalate-rich foods. If you tend to form calcium oxalate stones, your doctor may recommend restricting foods rich in oxalates. These include rhubarb, beets, okra, spinach, Swiss chard, sweet potatoes, nuts, tea, chocolate and soy products. Choose a diet low in salt and animal protein. Reduce the amount of salt you eat and choose nonanimal protein sources, such as legumes. Consider using a salt substitute. Continue eating calcium-rich foods, but use caution with calcium supplements. Calcium in food doesn't have an effect on your risk of kidney stones. Continue eating calcium-rich foods unless your doctor advises otherwise. Ask your doctor before taking calcium supplements, as these have been linked to increased risk of kidney stones. You may reduce the risk by taking supplements with meals. Diets low in calcium can increase kidney stone formation in some people. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine - Berberis Vulgaris Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice daily for 4 weeks. Revert me back.

I am a diabetes patient and my sugar level is 140 before meal and 170 after meal and I also have high knee pain since 10 years. I have consulted a doctor about this along with diabetes. He gave me these medicines named. ALGINA 650 - twice in a day for 30 days BIGOMET SR* 500 - in night after meal OSICARE PLUS- in night after meal for 30 days OSTEOCHEK-D3 - one time in 7 days. I don't know about Algina but the others are for your Diabetes & calcium & Vitamin D. You can take extra care in your diet to control your blood sugar. You can try taking 1 tsp. Castor oil at bedtime with a glass of water. It can help you for your knee pain.

Hunching over a desk is a leading reason why people end up with crippling back pain at some point in their lives. But a few simple changes in the way you work can make your pain go away. 1-Keep your head up; Focus on aligning your head and neck right above your shoulders; avoid straining forward. 2-Be choosy with your chair: Pick one that allows your lower back to rest against a lumbar support. Then tilt the back of the chair so it’s very slightly reclined. 3-Plant your feet: Keep them flat on the floor and shoulder-width apart to quiet tension in your knees and ankles. 4-Take breaks: Getting up at least once an hour— just do some shoulder rolls—reduces pressure on spinal disks and boosts circulation. If your back pain is severe please go to a Physiotherapist for detail assessment and management of your pain. Best wishes.

Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Hello, Is there any history of injury or hurt to the area? Any underlying medical condition? Medication: Meantime, take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. And wrap crepe bandage over it. Get back to me thereafter.

Hello, please go through full and proper investigation, to rule out your problem. This is may be due to overweight or deficiency of vitamin d3 and calcium or due to poor posture. Till then follow these advises:- 1. Take calcium supplements and sun bath daily to prevent further damage to your joints. 2. Avoid heavy lifting. 3. Avoid squatting and weight bearing activities. 4. Use western toilet. 5. Wear shock absorbing, good quality of shoes while walking. 6. Keep roll of a towel under your knees while sleeping. 7. Perform some gentle exercises and stretching of your all joints before getting out of your bed. 8. Walk straight with shoulder protracted. 9. Perform deep breathing exercises or yoga for proper functioning of lungs. I will explain you stiffness and pain reducing techniques in the next session. Kindly consult privately. You should have any medicine after proper diagnosis. Wish you a happy and pain free life thanks.

You may be having bad posture always sit straight, avoid forward bending learn back strengthening exercises from physiotherapist and do it regularly take more milk and cured in your diet and more protein in your diet.

This is a general strain due to excessive walking or standing and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes. One time you can do hot water fermentation that would help to reduce the muscle strain.

It is called as hallus valgus it might be of genetic or of structural changes in the joint on account of improper footwear and pathological reasons it could be well managed with prosthetic external hallus valgus fixator and followed by rehabilitation exercises from physiotherapist.

I am 50 years old, I have lower back pain ever since I was 10-12 years old, in the early stage I consulted doctors and they said that it will gradually reduce after marriage, but nothing like that happened and the pain was constently increasing. Today my pain is constant and I feel dizzy and start swetting if I stand at a place for more than 2-3 minutes. Normally I don't take any medicin, but if I feel that the pain is un bearable I take diclomax - 50 tablet, this happens once in abloom you can say 1 tablet per month, because I avoid taking pills I feel its better to bear the pain rathan than being adict to medicins. Can you suggest any other option rathar than medicin for relief of this pain, sometimes I use back ache belt while travelling anf while i am working in kitchen.

Kindly show me digital x rays of ls spine. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days bio d3 max 1tab od x10 do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I am 33 yrs old male I have partial tear of anterior cruciate ligament, joint effusion noted, mucoid degeneration /tear of posterior horn of medial meniscus. Is there any treatment without surgery.

How does it effect u, partial tear, if it less then grade 2, then it can be left alone, rather the medial meniscus tear which you have is more problematic, if you can near the pain, and your knee doesn't lock while standing from sitting. Medical treatment can be sought, otherwise go for surgery.

Dear Lybrate user For sciatica, -proper bed rest Hot Fomentation use L-S belt while walking (to eliminate pain & maintain posture) Avoid forward bending Avoid heavy weight lifting Postural care in sitting, walking,& lying position, also while watching tv or working on laptops. After few days, when your pain will get relieved you have to start some back care exercises.

Pain killer is only temporary remedy. You should apply some bone rejuvenation oil and intake lubrication medicine which will applies on the joints. Just 3 months medication 100% curable. Consult me to get the medicine or treatments. Thanks.

Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya vatari syrup and capsule twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

I fall down from the two wheeler three weeks back and my right hand ankle is paining. There is no swelling and no unbearable pain. You could have sprained a ligament in your wrist. Try using a wrist splint for 2 weeks. If the condition does not improve consult your orthopedic.

Hi Although there can be many causes for heel pain like spurs, fascial inflammation, infection, trauma etc but normally plantar fascitis is the most common cause especially if there is no history of any injury or any s/s of inflammation or infection like swelling, skin redness etc. This kind of pain is usually due to inflammation of your heel fascia. It is chronic pain which get aggravated especially when you walk more and is better with rest. Treatment modalities are aimed at relieving inflammation of the fascia, like ice packs, physical therapy, footwear modification and anti-inflammatory therapy.
