Hello, I have a very nasty jock itch problem when I ever I play and come or go it and come or get up in the morning I am getting the jock itch daily it has been a big problem for me and I have a itching sensation at the back so how can I get rid of this itching problem.

BHMS, DEMS
Homeopath, Pune
Tinea cruris, most commonly known as jock itch, is a fungal infection of the skin. It belongs to a group of fungal skin infections called tinea. Jock itch is most common in men and adolescent boys. The infection causes a rash that often itches or burns. The affected areas can also be red, flaky, or scaly. It’s also more frequently seen in the homeless, as they do not wash with soap and water in the groin and armpit areas as regularly. Causes of jock itch include the following: Moisture, warmth, and skin friction in the groin folds Tight, occlusive clothing and undergarments that trap in sweat Infections caused by fungus and yeasts: Candida (yeast), Trichophyton, and Epidermophyton (fungal molds) Infections by bacteria. Wash the groin skin two to three times a day. Keep the groin area dry. Avoid excess groin skin irritation by wearing 100% cotton underwear. Avoid fabric softeners, bleaches, or harsh laundry detergents. Wash groin and buttocks with soap and water after exercise and sweating. Wash workout clothes, underwear, and swimwear after each use. Minimize groin moisture by using white cotton underwear. Change underwear frequently and especially after sweating. Home remedy =Make sure that you have a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and mix it in with a cup of warm water. Place the solution that you have created on the affected area and wash it thoroughly. Do not wipe the area and let it dry on its own. Consult me for homeopathic treatment.

I am 16 years old and I have many pimples on my face how can I reduce my pimples.
If you suffer from acne, pimples, blackheads & dark spots it means that the pitta dosha (heat in body) is increased. For that you need proper ayurvedic medicine along with following diet & lifestyle changes. 1) avoid eating salty, spicy & sour foods 2) have milk & ghee twice daily 3) green tea has antimicrobial and antioxidant compounds that can help fight acne. To get its effects, use a cooled cup of green tea as a face wash or lay the bag over the affected area. 4) apply a teaspoon of honey to affected areas, or make a mask by mixing 1/2 cup of honey with 1 cup of plain oatmeal and leaving it on for 30 minutes.

The following are the tips that you can try out to get rid of hair fall and to prevent balding. 1. Coconut milk and oil one of the natural and best working home remedy to take care of baldness and hair loss on your scalp is to use coconut milk on your scalp regularly? apply a mixture of about 20 ml of coconut oil, 10 ml of amla oil and one or two teaspoons of lemon juice on your scalp and leave it there for some time? you can wash it off after 20 minutes. This will help in effectively healing your scalp as well as fight dandruff and thereby arrests hair fall? regular use of coconut milk on your scalp will provide the necessary natural nourishments for your hair and will also help in nourishing your hair tissues. 2. Massaging regularly with basic oils massaging your hair and scalp with lukewarm basic oils like amla oil, coconut oil, almond oil or even olive oil will help in stimulating your hair follicles and prevent the scalp for developing dandruff? take a generous amount of hair oil and apply it evenly on your scalp and hair? massage the hair oil on your scalp and hair for ten minutes. Leave it on your hair for 15 minutes and then you can wash it off with shampoo or mild soap? repeat this scalp and hair massage treatment at least three to four times a day to prevent baldness? you can occasionally also apply coconut or amla oil on your head generously before going to bed to help in improving blood circulation on your scalp as well as relieve your from stress and strain. Consult hair growth treatment apply tugain 5% and ketoconazole shampoo and tab-health-ok tab-biotin any queries inform me. My brother is having itching problem but only in night on his full body. What medicine should he take?
Hello if he is suffering from generalised itching all over the body and not on specific part then, it is due to allegy or food allergy. You should notice it whether it is from specific food. Climate changes or something new which caused allergy and itching. After itching, if it turns to red and wheal formation then it is urticaria problem. Is skin is dry and red scally then it may be psoriatic condition. Currently you just apply nivea cream at night on skin. Avoid irritant which cause allergy. If it is not ok then consult dermatologists.

If you are planning weight control this diet is good and if you lost only top hair it is alopecia and a check up is needed. In general, you lose about 50-100 strands of hair each day, but the loss is not visible as new hair grow in their place. However, if you lose more than a 100 strands in a day and more than 200 strands on the day you shampoo, you may be suffering from what is known as excessive hair fall. Certain factors or reasons may cause you to lose hair at an alarming rate, which are, 1. Thyroid problems Your thyroid is responsible for your body’s overall functioning. The hormones (primarily T4 and T3), which it produces help in regulating metabolic activities. Problems with your thyroid gland can cause your hormone levels to rise or fall to unhealthy levels, which can result in hair fall. You can improve the functioning of your thyroid gland through a diet rich in calcium, iodine, magnesium, protein and Vitamins A, B and C. 2. Scalp infections-Infections of the scalp can also be one of the factors that may cause your hair to fall at an alarming rate. Of the different scalp infections, the ringworm scalp infection is the most common. Although this fungal infection can occur in any part of your body, when it develops on your scalp, you end up losing clumps of hair. Alongside the use of anti-fungal medications, even anti-fungal shampoos and creams can provide you with respite from the problem. 3. Poor diet, Gorging on unhealthy foods or going on a crash diet can result in the lack of essential nutrients in your body, which are required to maintain healthy hair. Furthermore, since hair is made of protein, having a balanced diet consisting of proteins and vitamin- rich foods is a must. 4. Stress gives rise to certain conditions such as alopecia areata, telogen effluvium (hair loss caused post-pregnancy or surgery) and trichotillomania (an impulsive need to pull your hair out), which can cause you to lose significant amount of hair. To avert a hair loss crisis caused by stress, make it a point to do some simple stress-reducing exercises, such as meditation or breathing exercises. 5. Using hair styling products like hair colours and straighteners can cause you to experience hair fall problems. Your hair not only becomes dull and dry due to their use, but also becomes weak and brittle, leading to a gradual loss of hair. Regular oiling and use of homemade hair masks are some of the ways you can try to counter the negative effects of these hair styling products. 6. The drugs that are used in the treatment of cancer not only destroy the fast-growing cancer cells, but also the healthy blood cells in your body. For this reason, consuming foods that possess cancer-fighting properties (like oatmeal, tomato, almonds, garlic etc) is a sure-shot way of fighting the disease as well as averting any side-effects that may arise because of the treatment. 7. Alopecia areata. Lastly, hair fall can also be caused by alopecia areata, which is a kind of hair loss that takes place when your body’s immune system erroneously attacks your hair follicles, and prevents growth of new hair. 8. Genetics. The origin of your severe hair fall or baldness can be traced back to your ancestors. So, your genes can be a factor behind your hair fall problem. If this is the cause, your body then becomes unable to produce new hair. Apart from the changes that you can make in your lifestyle to address the causes of your hair fall, there are also techniques out there that you can employ to permanently treat your problem, such as platelet rich plasma, mesotherapy, stem cell therapy, ozone activated platelet rich plasma & hair transplant.
