Health Benefits of Soybeans

Sexologist Clinic
Sexologist, Faridabad

1.     Soybeans can help individuals control weight.

Soybeans have been known to suppress the appetite, helping people eliminate the chances of overeating that leads to obesity and other health related risks. Also, soybeans provide considerable amounts of protein, which can lead to weight gain when taken in large quantities. The weight obtained from soybeans could protect the individual from chronic diseases, such as type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.

2.     Soybeans can contribute to improving your sleep.

Soybeans have a high content of magnesium, which is a mineral that is directly linked to improving the quality, duration, and tranquillity of sleep. Soybeans also help regulate the metabolism, to help reduce sleep disorders and the occurrence of insomnia.

3.     Soybeans may help prevent and manage type 2 diabetes.

Soybeans have the ability to increase insulin receptors in the body. This helps the body to handle the disease effectively or prevents diabetes from forming at all.

4.     Soybeans can contribute to improving circulation and oxygenation.

Soybeans are rich in copper and iron. Both are essential for the red blood cell formation. Increased red blood cell production increases oxygen to the cells and improves the metabolic activity. This prevents conditions like anemia.

5.     Soybeans may help to improve your digestive health.

Fiber can help prevent constipation and stimulate the contractions of the smooth muscles that forces food through your system. This aids in preventing dangerous conditions like colorectal cancer.

6.     Soybeans can help decrease the risk of congenital disabilities.

Soybeans are rich in the B-vitamin complex, particularly in folic acid. Folic acid helps the body to make healthy red blood cells and prevents anemia. It is also important for maintaining rapid cell division and growth during infancy and pregnancy. A deficiency of folic acid in pregnant women can lead to the birth of underweight infants and may also result in neural tube defects in newborns.

7.     Soybeans have a significant vitamin and mineral density.

Soybeans are an excellent source of calcium, magnesium, copper, selenium, and zinc. These have a role in preventing osteoporosis and help speed the bone healing process.

General Physician,
High BP in pregnancy increases risk for future atherosclerosis

Women who have hypertension during pregnancy are at increased risk of developing atherosclerosis when they are older.

In a study published in the journal Hypertension, Dr. Siamak Sabour, of the University Medical Center in Utrecht, the Netherlands, said that hypertension in pregnancy acts as a kind of "nature’s cardiovascular stress test" showing proneness to future disease.

My husband age is 33years, we are newly married couple and having very rare physical relation as we live apart from each other. But when we have sex and after it, he feels pain in his entire body. Is it normal or anything serious matter?

No.. it may not be.. It is called Dysmenorrhea.. and it does not happen to everyone... And for your reference there is a cure.. in homoeopathic but if the medicine is selected after careful investigation and detailed case study... I don't believe that OTC medicine will give any relief... So my advise is to take a proper consultation for permanent results.. You may start taking Abroma Augusta Q tds..

Why a Plant-Based Diet is good for you!

BHMS
Homeopath,
Why a Plant-Based Diet is good for you!
"let food be thy medicine and not medicine be thy food" - hippocrates

This quote is over centuries old and even at that time, the father of modern medicine (allopathy) realized the importance of healthy eating. I think we all know the benefits of eating healthy. Glowin skin, healthy hair, optimal weight. And one can just go on about the benefits. But what exactly constitutes" healthy eating?

A plant based diet is wholesome and nutritious and is closest to our mother earth and nature. A way of living which is in sync with nature and all its goodness, is the best possible gift you can give to yourself.

Eating greens, beans, legumes, nuts, fruits and seeds (flax, sunflower, sesame, etc.) will boost your immune system.

Beginning your day with a green smoothie is like gifting your body a luxurious detox each day. Consuming less of dairy will do your intestines good and help maintain your body at an alkaline level.

Consuming brown rice (which is rich in fibre) instead of white rice will help you maintain a slim waistline.

Doing aerobic exercises and brisk walking helps to boost your metabolism by keeping your heart pumping. This is the best anti-aging skin formula!

Spending time with yourself to know the real you is from where change happens. Change happens from within.

"within you, lies the answer to wholeness" - denise

Hope you all enjoyed the article!

Psycho-sexual Disorder - 6 Associated Symptoms In Women

Psychosexual disorders are conditions that occur when there are discrepancies in sexual functioning caused by mental or emotional problems. These have various manifestations in the form of sexual dysfunction, sexual perversion and gender identity crisis.

The primary characteristic feature of psychosexual disorders is that these are not caused by any external physical factors or medical conditions, but are a result of internal conflicts that arise in the mind. These conflicts can be due to intense personal experiences that lead to stress, anxiety, depression, and guilt. Sexual trauma and negative body image issues are also known to cause psychosexual disorders in men and women.

The symptoms of psychosexual disorders have different kinds of indications in men and women. In many cases, it leads to the development of phobias towards sex and sexual activities. In other cases, it may create strong recurrent desires for unusual sexual situations and activities such as voyeurism, fetishism, exhibitionism, sexual sadism, necrophilia or pedophilia.

Each case is unique and different as it is caused by an exclusive set of factors, which affect every individual in a distinctive capacity.

What are the symptoms of the psychosexual disorder in women?
Psychosexual disorders in women are characterized by the following signs:

Sexual & Reproductive Health - Factors That Affect It!

Sexual & Reproductive Health - Factors That Affect It!

To be considered healthy, one must not only be physically and mentally sound, but one must also be sexually and reproductively healthy. Sexual and reproductive health includes a person’s ability to enjoy a satisfying sex life and capability of reproducing. Sexual and reproductive health is important for both men and women.

When it comes to women, sexual health problems can refer to

  • Lack of sexual desire
  • Inability to be sexually aroused
  • Inability to achieve an orgasm
  • Painful intercourse

There are many factors that could trigger these problems, such as

  • Relationship problems
  • Emotional distress
  • Gynaecological problems

Some of the common gynaecological problems that affect women’s sexual health are

Endometriosis and some of the above mentioned diseases can also affect a woman’s reproductive health and cause problems with pregnancyExposure to STDs is another major reproductive health problem. STDs such as HIV, gonorrhoea and HPV are dangerous not only for the mother, but also affect the health of the baby. Reproductive health problems or women also include unwanted pregnancies, unsafe abortions and maternal death.

Being a victim of sexual violence affects both sexual and reproductive health. Sexual violence can be defined as a non-consensual sexual activity. While anyone can experience this, women have a higher risk of facing such violence than men. Sexual violence can cause a person to fear sex itself and in some cases can interfere with their ability to reproduce.

Though men’s interest in sex is often joked about, men too can face sexual health problems. This could be triggered by a physical or psychological condition. Erectile dysfunction and ejaculation disorders such as premature ejaculation or retrograde ejaculation are the two most common sexual health problems faced by men. Anxiety and depression along with illnesses such as diabetes and high blood pressure can also cause a loss of libido and sexual disinterest.

Men can also suffer from a low sperm count and low testosterone. In many cases, this can make a man infertile. Peyronie's disease and testicular cancer are other conditions that can affect a man’s sexual and reproductive health. Like women, men also need to protect themselves against STDs to ensure they remain sexually healthy.

Thankfully, most sexual and reproductive health problems can be treated and cured with a combination of medication and psychological counselling. Hence sexual and reproductive health problems should not be considered taboo but should be addressed as soon as possible.
