Hi One of the simplest and most effective ways to induce sleep is to rub some oil on the scalp and the soles of the feet before going to bed. Use sesame oil, brahmi oil, jasmine oil, or coconut oil and massage gently for a few minutes. Slightly warming the oil before applying is helpful. 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep. Take sarpgandha vati 1-1 tab twice a day. Take pranacharya no tens capsule 1-1 twice a day. Avoid spicy food. Junk food. Fermented food. Tea.coffee. Do pranayama early in the morning.

Sir I am suffering from Seizures, sir can you tell me about this and suffering from last 5yrs, please sir.

MBBS,J.R. Neurology
General Physician,
Suffering from seizures for the past 5 years makes you an epilepsy patient. The causes can be numerous, starting from infection to local lesions. It is mandatory that you get yourself diagnosed properly for the underlying cause and strictly follow the antiepileptic medications that have been prescribed to you. Patients do recover completely and can live a normal life without depending on drugs. Seizures are indeed a cause for concern as it can be life threatening at times. Sometimes there are triggering factors that induce seizures. So I would advise you to look for such factors and avoid them. Consult a neurologist if you haven't. Take care.

I'm suffering from migraine, it's along with me for the past 3 years, even now. Suggest me the ways, so I cn get cured at earliest.

MD PHYSICIAN
General Physician, Delhi
You can not cure migraine but you can prevent blowing up of symptoms or a migraine attack. You can prevent it by natural remedies are a drug-free way to reduce migraine symptoms. These at-home treatments may help prevent migraines, or at least help reduce their severity and duration. 1) avoid migraine triggers food -chocolates, ice creams, processed foods, pickled foods, beans, dried fruits, cultured dairy products such as buttermilk, sour cream, and yogurt etc 2) Inhaling lavender essential oil may ease migraine pain. People who inhaled lavender oil during a migraine attack for 15 minutes experienced faster relief than those who inhaled a placebo. Lavender oil may be inhaled directly or applied diluted to the temples. 3) Acupressure is the practice of applying pressure with the fingers and hands to specific points on the body to relieve pain and other symptom. You can try taking two tablets of pcm 500 mg at once to relieve pain. You can also take sumatriptans, analgesics,NSAIDS etc in acute attack.

My father is 73 years old, he fainted and collapsed recently in january while morning walk and injured on back side of head due to which a minute fracture occurred and blood clotted there. After which he's taking EPTOIN-100 mg three times. But few days back he again fainted while bathing and again got an injury near the previous one. In ct scan again Clotting came. Is this are heart attacks or something else? After the ECG report a doctor told that's an attack so he wrote some tests enzyme test came negative and he told sometimes the ECG shows this kind of false signals. And in eco test everything came normal but a line also written on it "type-1 dd" doctor told its normal. Do he need more check ups? His bp also remains little down=110-113/67-73. Also he's diabetic patient.

MBBS, Dip.Cardiology, Fellowship in Clinical Cardiology(FICC), Fellowship in Echocardiology

Diabetic patient at this age will definitely have some amount of cholesterol deposition in the arteries. Repeated stroke patients are also highly likely to have high cholesterol and some underlying heart disease so yes I really he should undergo CT coronary angiography if his Kidneys and other parameters are normal because it will not only tell us about the hearts blood supply but also give us evidence of cholesterol deposition by the calcium score as for the Echo report you are talking about his grade 1 diastolic dysfunction which is common for his age and does not have a major health issue.

I am 27 years old and suffering with migraine and headache kindly give suggestions.

COMT, MPTh/MPT
Physiotherapist, Surat
Headaches due to migraine is very common these days especially in young adults because of there lifestyle and working environment. Sometimes pain is very severe on one side of the head.  So I would recommend you to avoid stress and anxiety, quiet the mind from distractions. Stay calm positive and do deep breathing exercises, listen some music that would give you some relaxation. If pain is severe then place ice pack over forehead and lie down for some time to relax your mind and give you comfort and stress full life. Massage your head using levander oil or clove oil as it removes toxins from body. You can use mint or clove spray for inhaling in case of headache. If pain is severe you can also apply ginger paste over the painful area. Avoid taking caffeine, alcohol, phenylethylamine (found in chocolate and cheese), tyramine (found in nuts and fermented meats, cheeses, and soy), and aspartame (in many artificially sweetened foods) as sometimes these all exaggerate pain instead use basil leaves tea or ginger tea boiled nicely in water without milk. Regular intake of healthy dietry food rich in proteins and vitamins. Avoid fasting - Eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at fixed timings. Make yourself busy by fulfilling your hobby as it will give you freshness and your mind will be diverted from normal life which help in pain reduction. Take min 7 hours of sleep. Make a habit of 20-25 min walking daily along with some meditations. If required then only take pain relieving tablets. For more help or instructions please consult. Good Luck and Get Well Soon.
