Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. The first thing you have to do is to develop a positive attitude towards your goal. You need to understand that transforming your physique is going to take a lot of time. These things don't work that easily. It's going to take a lot of hard work and consistency 1. Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. Begin with body weight exercises like push up, pull up and squats. Weight training proves to be really helpful if you want to gain good quality weight. Train each body part twice a week. For example: Monday/Thursday: Chest + Triceps Tuesday/Friday: Back + Biceps Wednesday/Saturday: Legs + Shoulders Don't forget to warm up for at least 10 - 15 minutes. Warm up includes jumping, rope skipping, treadmill, cycling, stair climbing, etc. 2. Eat Healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 2 - 3 hours. Some of the recommended food items are boiled chicken and eggs, brown rice, brown bread, peanut butter, olive oil (extra virgin), green tea, dry fruits etc. 3. Hello, Here are the directions for hair care during winter season: -Make sure you are eating at least 5 servings of fruit and vegetables a day. -Try wearing a stylish hat or scarf when you go out. -Keep some frizz serum in your bag in case of wet weather ruining your hair. -Always use hair conditioner on your hair shafts after each shampooing. -Try wearing your hair up rather than straightening it, or even try wearing it natural. Using a flat iron damages and dries out your hair anyway, so try to avoid this in the winter. -Look for shampoos and conditioners which aim to protect and heal your hair, making sure it's slightly more moisturizing than what you use normally, but still good for your hair type. -Stay hydrated. -Avoid excessive alcohol consumption and smoking as these are both dehydrating. -Try not to wash your hair every day because it strips away the natural oils produced by your scalp which would help to keep your scalp and hair healthy. Medication: Use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). Hello. Excessive use of hair dryers, chemicals, going for hair straightening, rebonding, colouring - all of them damages the cuticles of the hair (Cuticles are the outer layer of the hair which protects the hair from external attack from dust, pollution, etc.). The damage done to the cuticle leads to dry, brittle, lifeless hair! Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs, pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnut and almonds), iron-rich food like green vegetables, also take flaxseeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Hello. Its not good in this age. Firstly avoid taking excess protein in your diet. If you are non veg then stop this for few days because non veg is rich in protein which increases uric acid levels. Stop legumes, lentils, spinach, soft drinks, peas, cheese. Drink lots of water as much you can. It will regulate uric acid. Prefer milk and curd instead of cheese and buttet milk (lassi).
