You may have Hamstring strain. The first two or three days, you should care for your injury using RICE therapy: Rest – keep your leg as still as you possibly can and avoid physical activity, crutches in more severe cases. Ice – apply cold packs 15 to 20 minutes every two to three hours during the day. Don't apply ice directly to your skin. Compression – compress or bandage the thigh to limit any swelling and movement that could cause further damage. Elevation – keep your leg raised and supported on a pillow.

Hi doctor. I would love to talk about my health. I have problem with my neck even I can not sleep clearly. I want to know any medicine. please tell me so I will.

MBBS
General Physician,
The neck pain may be due to some minor injuries in the neck or spasm in the neck muscle even you could have spondilytis neck get an xray done to exclude spondilytis. Do neck exercise regularly slowly and gradually no jerky movement of neck. Or apply some muscle relaxant like volini spray or balm. You can consult a en t specialist. If xray is +he.

Simple Knee ExerciesSpecific knee exercises will also help ie. Keeping ball underneath the knee and keep pressing it. That's the simple exercise which will help you to strengthen the knee Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. I also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. Knee pain more than 2 weeks:if your knee is paining since 2 weeks, then you have to rethink whether you had any injury in the previous years. I also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. As arthritis is very common if anyone would've neglected any injury in the previous years. You can tnake Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages along with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation.

It could be due to cervical spondylosis this is quite a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10days do neck & back (spine) exercises use of cervical collar will give you relief. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you will need other supportive medicines also. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Backache -17 (a)

Remedial exercises

The exercises should be done slowly and increased gradually. During exercise, sudden jerks should be avoided. Most of the cases of backache fortunately settle down with simple remedial exercises.

Some of the cases do not respond satisfactorily. It is these -who pose a baffling problem. Many methods have been tried in the past & new ones are being discovered with the hope that this oldest problem of mankind  the aching back, the most common yet intractable, is solved.

The actual treatment of backache lies in the therapeutic exercises only

They act by:

(a) improving the muscle tone. (b) improving the muscle power. (c) regaining the mobility of the joints and elasticity of the ligaments. (ligaments are the natural hinges like those of doors which control the direction of the movement of a joint). The usual remedial spinal exercises are:
