Doctor recommended CAB but EF is 25% die to which bypass surgery couldn't be done. Doctors advised to wait for 10 days and discharged. Doctors feel that the EF may increase in 10 days. My dad is normal & stable. He is on a complete bed rest. All others reports like BRAIN, KIDNEY, sugar, BP, urine are normal. No gastric as well. He can breath properly. No issue as at all. Please advise on how to improve EF to at least to 35% to 40%

Hi. You have very well described your case, thank you for that. You just need to continue all the medicines as advised by your cardiologist and follow the fluid intake restriction as advised. Fluid intake restriction (total amount of liquids that you drink in a day) is very much important in patients with low heart pumping. Also continue complete bed rest. Nothing else has to be done specifically to improve ef. Take care.

Lots of triggers are there which causes hypertension, like lack of physical activity, stress, being overweight, etc. Gradually increase your level of physical activity, take balanced diet, make smarter food choices. Maintaining a healthy weight provides many health benefits. For 180 cm HT ideal weight for men should be 72-76 kg, losing as little as 5-10 pounds may help lower your blood pressure.
